As Ethereum begins to appreciate in the market what is the fate of other alts?

In the last couple of days we have witnessed a great price increase in Ethereum and I'm super happy about it's great gain.

I'm curious to know if it's is Altcoins season; which of the nearest alternative can you suggest for a HODLer?
An interest rate of +22.93% in 7 days isn't a bad choice after all.

Stop saying about "altcoin season" because there is no way that altcoin will grow independently because lool at the market https://coinmarketcap.com/ it is Bitcoin that Make the Bull and Ethereum like other altcoins just move with it so nope this maybe Bullrun but not Altcon season.

This was a long wait before ETH crosses 300$ and with bitcoin crossing 10700$ will will continue ur to see ETH and other altcoins also will rise and will participate in this increase in price . All the investors would be happy to find this levels and will want that it continue to grow at this pace so that people can make some money on this levels . Any dips here is a good buying time .

Ethereum is being an Ethereum now. The hype on Ethereum is extremely huge, lot of buyers especially when it broke above $200.
There are still lot of rooms on Ethereum, as you can see the all-time-high of Ethereum which is $1,448 based on coingecko, we are still -78%.
Other altcoins will also follow but I believe it will be different percantage gains/loss if ever Ethereum will pump or dump soon.

Wait for ethereum 2.o launch then only we can find the real altcoins season began or it was just a fomo created to buy more ethereum before its launch to avail the rewards.Bitcoin is also has been bumping in the meanwhile time so we can find most of the cryptos are following its trend so just buy some bitcoins for now and wait for the bullish trend to begin.

That is if they haven't sold at the first price increase, not everyone who bought at $50 - $70 will still be holding till now, some must have sold when it hit $200 or so thinking they can buy below, the most difficult part is the continuous hold, eth is on fire now no doubt, I always regard it as a long term investment because eth has a way of increasing in price unexpectedly,  when you list expect it eth will strike.

If I'll just give an advice, take a closer look most of the time to these two gems. They are the real gems of the crypto market, not those cryptocurrencies that have been suggested by someone which is you are not even familiar with the gems that they call.

The Ethereum movement is quite predictive. most traders jumped into the trade because of the price movement. the current bull market might be as a result of the long awaited bull that has not happened since last year. it might be another oppotunity to bring the cryptocurrency to spot light. observing the market closely shows that the other altcoins has been moving up gradually. they do not depend on ethereum price movement as well.

Bitcoin dominance will surely drop at some point. It can not continue to be up there. I have observed this happen before and it will happen again after bitcoin have had a good bull run. Once this begins to happen we should be sure that other altcoins will join Ethereum and all coins in cents will begin to increase in value.

There's a good potential on Ethereum after I had heard the most anticipated upgrade will come, the Ethereum volume 2 brought excitement to the investors, plus, the Defi project that also have big impact to the Ethereum.

Altcoins might follow to Ethereum while for sure the dominance of Bitcoin will drop for a while. But I think that is a temporary correction.
After reading this article blog about Ethereum's update, Ethereum 2.0’s “final” and “official” public testnet, I saw the brighter future of Ethereum one of these days.

IMO, I don't care about other altcoins aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum, which they have potential to invest.

Bitcoin dominance will surely drop at some point. It can not continue to be up there. I have observed this happen before and it will happen again after bitcoin have had a good bull run. Once this begins to happen we should be sure that other altcoins will join Ethereum and all coins in cents will begin to increase in value.

Here is the current chart for Bitcoin Dominance.

We are still above the strong horizontal support of the Bitcoin Dominance.
So, it's still difficult to claim that the Bitcoin Dominance will make a dump since only Ethereum is the one pumping here and Bitcoin is also pumping if Ethereum is pumping, although it's not the same percentage on how big the pump.
The 60% is the strong support for Bitcoin Dominance now, when we break below that, for sure a huge pumps on altcoins, leading by Ethereum.
