Story: Couldn't withdraw my BTC from one of the fraud trading platforms called (vertexfxtrade.com) which kept my account on hold so i hired Hoopergroup.tech which claimed to be a recovery service to retrieve my investments. little did i know i did many deposits to them and i haven't received a single proof regarding my funds.
They promised so many times that it will end on the next level but after every payment i did they need more. After 2 months without a trace of my funds. i requested for the CEO John Hooper to have an agreement that i will do my last payment to him for funds retrieval. he accepted that offer and he sent me the agreement. After sending the amount , he Said it will take 72 hours for the amount will be reflected to my account. Sadly after 48 hours  he asked for more fees and if i didnt pay all funds will be lost.
Recovery service meant to give second chance for people to get what they lost. but taking what is left from them and keep them dry to the bone shows that these people need to be behind bars for life. one non-legit recovery service will affect all the legit recovery service online and this need to be addresses sooner or later.
Website Link: Hoopergroup.tech
Hoopergroup.tech Email Address: recovery@hoopergroup.tech
Amount Scammed: More Than $50,000 USD
Payment Method: Bitcoins
Proof of Payment: Did multiple of payments but i will send just one  (https://blockstream.info/tx/c187f7e4a2b4f62f941094b3dbb869ccda9725c2339feee917cf9868281ffab2)
Additional Notes: The CEO John Hooper and his expert John did many promises during the past and lied many times without providing any proof of  work. i have requested for invoice of all my payments and they denied. I requested for there contact number they denied that. He ignored my emails after my last payment to him. My advice don't trust any claimed recovery service online specially if there new in the market.
Proof of Contract: https://ibb.co/cCBQT2n
CEO John Hooper Contradict his own words after not filling his side of the agreement:
https://ibb.co/khFvhgG

Fact Number 1:
Bitcoin transactions are not reversible and non-recoverable in most cases once you send them to scammers. You got scammed by a fake trading platform and then got scammed again by people pretending to be a recovery service.

Don't send any more money to them, John Hooper and group are scammers and you should have inquired from forum members before falling for their scam recovery service.

You sent 50 grand to a "recovery" service? How much did you lose to the "trading platform"? And what platform was it? Sounds like something worth a warning too.

I'm sorry about your losses but aside from warning others there is not much that can be done here. I doubt there is any real online "recovery" service. Law enforcement and/or a proper PI IRL might be your only recourse but it's a long shot. As logfiles said, when bitcoins are gone - they're gone for good.

That's a lot of money for a newbie here in the forum. Unfortunately, you encountered this forum just now. Never heard or encountered this site in the forum. So more than likely, it is running a scam. I hope users will see this thread and avoid this site as much as possible.

And guess what is on their webpage -

Why you guys believe in Crypto recovery service? In Crypto world no recovery service is going to work.Because as you know Crypto transections can't get back or cancel if transection already done.
I already heard from other forum members that they got scammed by the name of Recovery service.
Idax Exchange recovery service was also a big scam.So don't trust anyone in Crypto.Just be far from scammers.

You haven't mentioned the name of trading platform by which you got scammed first and after that you got another bad experience by hiring scammers for recovering your fund from the exchange. You made the first mistakes due to lack of proper knowledge about safer and popular trading platform. Where you have already spent 50000$ for getting the fund back from the trading platform then i guess the amount was much bigger than this. Sorry to say that it was really necessary for you to make proper research before starting trade anywhere and hiring scammers to recover that fund again.

In a situation like this we can't do nothing but feeling sorry for your losses. You can share details about the trading platform by which you got scammed first. I think its gonna help lot more thread visitors to stay far from that.

Here is their domain details. You can add below information's on your topic,

It is hard to believe that you hired Scammers to recover payment from Scammers. Cry

They wrote and you agreed? I have looked through the website carefully, I did not get any information about the team or the company.

If you want to be successful in crypto, then do the full investigation first and then send the payment, Because the payment sent once in crypto cannot be returned, For this, do the investigation first, and make sure that you are not sending payment to any scammer.
However, I do not think you will get anything back, just take this lesson and forget it.

Sorry to say this, but you already got scammed 2 times from fraud trading platforms and fake recover crypto payment. In cryptocurrency, you can't get back your coin after you send it. So, if you seen so many sites promising can recover your payment, all of them is SCAM.

They claiming have 6+ years experience with 982+ client. But, the sites is created on 2020-02-20, it's only around 5-6 months!

That sites is also plagiarism from https://maysongroup.tech/ or probably it's from the same fraudster.

Sadly i haven't heard of bitcointalk.org until few days back i wish i saw this before going forward with these scammers. After the agreement with hoopergroup.tech i stopped funding them.
Regarding the fraud platform its called (vertexfxtrade.com); less than a month they took the sight down. i shall edit my post with the fraud trading website name. deposited first 3 BTC and withdrawn 0.5 Btc and the support was helpful. so i deposited more than 10 BTC. after 3 months i had more than 100 Btc. so i tried to withdraw but it says your account is on hold so i tried sending message to the support team and emailing them but no response. this happened during end of 2019. during end of April of 2020 i hired the fraud recovery service hoopergroup.tech...sadly they don't care if you borrow funds from people to cover your loss; they just want to eat you alive. i shall attach the last agreement between me and the CEO John Hooper for you to see what happen. Learned valuable lesson that's for sure.

Guys i tried to upload the contract under image column but i couldnt can someone could assist me how to do that ?

thanks

You're still newbie, so you can't attach image in this forum... you need to reach Jr. member (30 activity and 1 merit) or buy Copper membership. But you can still share the link of your images.

Upload the image on imgur or imgbb, copy and paste the link

You need to upload the image to a third-party hosting site such as imgur.com first. Then post the imgur link here (direct link to an image, e.g. ending in .jpg or .png) using img tags - image button in the toolbar will do that.

Make sure to remove/hide any personal info from the documents.

Edit: Jawhead999 beat me to it LOL.

so i deposited more than 10 BTC. after 3 months i had more than 100 Btc.

If it's any consolation (I know it's not, sorry) - you never had 100 BTC. Whatever the scam site was showing was obviously designed to make you deposit more.

The trading platform called vertexfxtrade.com; both operate under namecheap.com...it seem namecheap is one of the favourite domains for scammers to use. i even reported to them regarding my issue but they replied back they wouldn't act until law enforcement invistatigates on this matter then they will act on that.

The website seems to be offline now. I am not sure if it's just me, someone could probably check from that side to confirm. I am just curious on what made you use them, yet we have so many popular reputable exchanges around.

Someone also reported about the scam exchange back in May; https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/community/threads/vertexfxtrade-com-is-a-scam-dont-fall-for-this-site.65371/

Yes i reported in Forexpeacearmy.com sometime last month. beside that,  vertexfxtrade.com was a ponzi scheme which i didn't know at that time. They offered earning 4 times as much within 3 weeks. so i kept my btc for 6 weeks. little i didnt know my account was on hold every time i try to withdraw. with no response from support team i decided to look for recovery service and that how i reach hoopergroup.tech

The Sad part with all this i passed so many red flags but hoping these scammers are legit. but after stopped funding them they stopped replying back to my email and probably looking for a new bait !
