There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

We can easily tell that this newbie did not go through the right process he just want to post do transactions without reading how things should be done the right way, he did not use escrow he did not check the trust rating, this guy is the kind that you want to scam for being so naive.

Look at his screenshots. He DID check the trust rating and still fell for it.... And OP's rank might say newbie, but he's not. His account is registered back in 2017 and he has been scammed before if reading his post history. Very naive person, likely to be scammed again in the future.

So the seller did not send you the additional information about the Hero/Legendary account details? If he sends you then you should post the username here so that we can take an action against the account.
This is how greedy people fall into scammer trap. you should learn your lesson here.
Btw bitcointalk account trading means selling/buying both are the same as untrustworthy. So you should also be tagged then.

Lol, you people really have money to waste and send to scammers You very well saw the warnings but still continued to send the Bitcoins to the scammer. I guess it's now a lesson for you to learn. Next time use your head, lets say the account seller really wanted to sell off the account, Who in their right mind would sell such a legendary account which such trust, activity and Merit for peanuts, yet they can make more than that in a signature campaign within a month or two.

why even buy an account? account sales are heavily frowned upon in this forum and you trying to buy and an account is already suspicious and members will have not have a hard time telling that you are also a scammer for such transactions. I'm not even sure if I feel bad that you got scammed. I don't even know what you would have done with that account if the transaction were successful. Btw bitcointalk account trading means selling/buying both are the same as untrustworthy. So you should also be tagged then.

The problem with these account sales is that even when it goes through, a buyer would have to wait 14 days for the security email to expire. The whole process allows for tons of scammers to use the unsaturated account market to target the niche users and con them out of their coins.
... and then even if you wait, the original owner could easily claim, "I got hacked," and get his account back without much issue. If they were to appropriately wipe any historical reference to the account sale, then they would be even more solid. After all, who is going to believe a Newbie account stating, "I bought this account," if they didn't have proof? One good thing about the changes, though, is that it does cause a self-rupturing cycle: there is less and less incentive to buy accounts, which leads to fewer accounts on the market and thereby more scamming opportunities which create more deterrents to the account market.
