Well, found something weird and i don't think that is coincidence...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203763.0
There is guy selling his "pro" poker guides or e-books and using newbie accounts to self vouch.
In most of the forums i were member that kind of thing is same as scamming... I mean, misleading people with fake positive feedback...
And pretty sure those 1 post newbie accounts used only to post "feedback" was created by the same person.
Anyway, take a look and tell me what do you think about it

Yep, definitely looks like a lot of the vouches are fake.  My question is: why are you pointing this out from a thread that was started at the end of last year?

You're new to the forum so you might not be aware that scams aren't moderated here, which means that crap like the thread you linked to can happen and not much is going to be done about it by the mods.  In that respect, bitcointalk is very much unlike most other discussion forums, so just get used to it if you're going to stick around here.  I'd probably take a look at the rules and get a feeling for what the culture is like before you start threads like this one.

Yep, i am not aware that scams are not moderated here but still that feeling inside made me warn the community.
And actually, didn't check when the thread was started, you got me Smiley
I've check the rules but as said "Unofficial" they are more ethical than actual forum rules.
Little bit confused what's allowed and what's not around here but still can't find that ethical or right (My statement in the first post).
And still, thanks for sharing the link with me and spend time to answer.
Have a good one.

This is definitely fake self vouch and not an ethical move at all. Almost all the feedbacks are from newbie with their only post in the thread. This is not possible that everyone joined here only for purchasing the ebook and give a feedback. This feedbacks are fake. I'm leaving a negative feedback. You can leave the seller a negative feedback to avoid future dealing.

Nobody is dumb enough to get tricked into buying goods because of 1 post newbies recommendations. If anybody is to fall for this then there is no hope for them in life, it won’t be the only time the fool parts with his money.

Well, yet another newbie using self-moderated thread with newbies (using for self-vouching).

Would you consider talking to yourself on Telegram, with one account pretending to be a forum escrow, the same thing as self-vouching, or is that different?

I hate to break it to you but there are dumb enough people who get scammed by this. you'd be surprised how many people get scammed with a low ranking account even a newbie account with negative feedback.

If you look at the user last active / creation dates of a couple of the users on the first page of that thread they correspond.  (Open and shut case)
