ChipMixer has zero fees and works with the Pay what you want pricing strategy. You donate if you want. Smiley

Also, it's by far the most trusted mixer, and I don't say that just because of my signature. You can do your research.

Careful with the links. Only trust the oficial ANN thread: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented

I do agree on this.

It's one of the most trusted mixer that we have, it has Clearnet link and onion/TOR link for everybody's preference.

ChipMixer is centralized service which means it is in the strangers hands. Wouldn’t it be better to use any of decentralized solutions offered by either Samourai or Wasabi? What the finest does  ChipMixer have (except there is no need to install something  on someone's device) compared with those wallets that rely on CoinJoin protocol?
I think this will base on where you are okay using with, both mixers chipmixer and coinjoin (wasabi and samourai) are so far the best mixers that we have that we can use.

This thread also provides an interesting intake on mixers vs other alternatives: [Guide] Decent mixing methods. Shame that the thread ran short on discussion, as it would be nice to develop along the lines of each cited alternative within the thread.

Note: The references to Chipmixer being expensive are not really correct. The service is free, and you may choose to donate for the service, although if you send less than the lowest available chip (0,001 BTCs), it will be treated as a donation (as per their FAQs).

I guess it's about the level of mixing CM and Wasabi/Samourai coinjoin provides.

Leaving an article if anyone is interested to read:
https://blog.chainalysis.com/reports/plustoken-scam-bitcoin-price

^ It mentions how Chainalysis were able to track transactions trough mixers like Wasabi wallet.

Anyway, centralized or decentralized, it's up to the OP to choose where he/she is comfortable using. It's worth mentioning that CM and both wallets were able to establish their reputation through the years.

You have to "sacrifice" or be patient with some things. For example, coinjoin round might not be as fast you though (need to wait for hours or even days if you got a bad luck), if you use Samourai. Samourai has lower minimum threshold but still high for small txs. If OP is fine with that, then it's a decent choice.

Wasabi isn't really a "full" decentralization method to me, I suppose we could call it a hybrid. You execute a decentralized communication with the BTC network using a centralized wasabi coordinator (server) and you have to trust it with the filters.

Centralized mixers are fine for people looking for a "ready to go" solution without bothering with stuff people may not inderstand correctly. They also don't need a minimum of 0.1BTC like it's the case with Wasabi (not everyone has 0.1BTC in the pocket)

thanks, I tried using chipmixer but its a bit confusing using the websites I'm not so familiar with chips or the currency used in there.
The currency used is bitcoin. "Chips" are merely ChipMixer's internal way of keeping track of what bitcoin you have deposited. If you deposit 0.01 BTC, then you will receive 0.01 chips.

It's really quite simple. Start a new session, and save your session token so you can recover the session in future if needed. Make a deposit to the address given. Whatever you deposit in BTC, you will receive the same amount in chips, in multiples of 0.001 BTC. Anything smaller than 0.001 BTC will be donated to ChipMixer. Chips come in multiples of 0.001. So for example:

It you deposit 0.1 BTC, you will receive 0.1 BTC in chips, made up of a 0.064 chip, a 0.032 chip, and a 0.04 chip.
If you deposit 0.01 BTC, you will receive 0.01 BTC in chips, made up of a 0.008 chip and a 0.002 chip.

You can split chips in to smaller ones, or merge chips in to bigger ones. You can choose which ones you want to withdraw, and ChipMixer will give you private keys you can sweep to your own wallet or import and spend directly. You can choose to leave some chips on ChipMixer in exchange for a voucher code, which you can then use to withdraw them at a later date or to merge with future chips you might deposit in another session, all of which greatly increases your privacy.

I would recommend really sticking with them, don't let the chips terminology put you off, it's just a way of saying amounts. They're chips because like in a casino, they represent a value (of Bitcoin) and you can cash them out whenever you want (by getting the private key associated).

don't get thrown off just because of that. it's worth the time and effort to learn some stuff instead of going through the easy way and then got scammed. the list might not be updated regularly so double check it. for example, sudoku wallet just exit scammed a while ago.

Since I know this forum and know about bitcoin's tumbler (mixer) I only trust to chipmixer. At least we have seen a long time signature campaign that held by its team and until now still alive. This has pointed out you'll be save if you use this mixer's service and will be spared from scam mixing service. And yeah that I love to this mixer service is they only charge a fee as you want, mean you can give them a fee according to the price that you can be able to give.

[Guide] Decent mixing methods

Theymos created this guide for mixing and I think this is a good way to start if you want to mix your cryptocurrencies. Basically he mentioned Wasabi Wallet as a good way of mixing and the other way he mentioned is about converting your Bitcoin or other crypto to Monero (XMR) as this crypto is considered as a anonymity focused crypto. The latter of course might be an expensive way of mixing crypto as you will be converting back and forth the crypto you will have so I don't think this is a good idea if you are avoiding fees.

I don't know how Chipmixer operate their mixing but so far there's no claim of someone destroying Chipmixer mixing method. If I'm correct, an user "madu" have done a report where he was able to break almost all the mixer other than Chipmixer.

I would suggest this one too as I have used this few times and it works perfectly.

They have very nice and clean user interface and works perfectly fine on all devices. As TryNinja stated make sure you are viewing the original site for mixing your coins.

All suggestion above was right OP and I think it makes sense that the vast majority of all users here prefers to use Chipmixer in mixing your coin.
I don't know how the process on this Bitcoin mixer but so far, I didn't hear any bad claims towards them, in short, they had a good reputation to trust and you will not afraid to scam, unless if you mislead and use scam phishing site that looks like Chipmixer.

I recommend reading this compilation thread of logfiles a ⚠️ List of Bitcoin Mixer or tumbler SCAM/CLONE websites ⚠️.
