DeFi projects are truly getting attention from the community as well as scammers. As you will observed in the ANN section, there are several DeFi-related projects are being launched everyday. As a user/investor, when you look at them, you should also treat them like any other blockchain projects. Look for potential warning signals, like using fake team, plagiarized whitepaper, ponzi-scheme business model. Because these scammers will try and try to gain the trust of the community. Don't be easily attracted with their offers. Dig and research before sending your hard-earned money to them.

Where the money is that's where scammers will concentrate their time and effort so expect many projects to come up created by the scammers, this is quite tricky we need to educate ourselves about Defi, like what happened in ICO where the scammers successfully replicated on what seems to be a good project only to end up people getting scammed, so double your effort to research.

Scammers are beginning to enhance their skills in terms of attracting many customers in order to brainwash them and for them to patronize their shitty products.  The victims of the crypto scammers are keep increasing and it is a sad part because there are now a lot of investors that are suffering because they lose huge amount of money. they already have what you mean, https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/ you can easily monitor DeFi project from there and it looks like DeFi project listed on coinmarketcap is guaranteed, but I prefer to use DeFi Pulse and do my own research.

I agree! DeFi projects are a hype right now in the market. We all know that scammers will take advantage of this hypes to create new traps for investors especially newbie investors. Since doing research is a very important step and not many newbie familiar with it, it's great when coinmarketcap has a defi projects section. It helps a lot for investors!

DeFi has a great potential, that's why it's hype at the moment, but of course, in every project it's not guaranteed that all will be successful and all will be legit, there are still scammers out there waiting to take advantage on people who does not make research.

You will only fall for it if you invest blindly just because it's a DeFi projects.

You are right. The sound of defi is on everywhere, and many people are trying to search for more information about what is defi. I think that can lead them to get the wrong defi project because the scammers will take part in the project, and they will invite more investor to join them. It's like the ICO and IEO, which make many project success to get the profit in the past few years, defi wants to be the next new trend that people will invest. But I see that people now are smart to choose the right project and they will not invest in the project if they are not sure or have a doubt to that project.

DeFi hype is real, not falling for DeFi hype is not investing on any DeFi project which one can regret later, you warned people about scammers who can use DeFi hype for their own selfish gains which is good but we have better reliable DeFi projects

Just like the last time scammers took advantage of the ICO hype they will try to do the same again but this time with DeFi projects. They will create fake DeFi projects which will later scam us out of our money we should be extremely vigilant and not invest in any DeFi projects without researching.
