Investors are looking for what will generate more profit to their investment,  and now defi projects seem to be the perfect option for them to do so, ofcourse not all the defi project are for long term base, some are just created for a short term, hype, pump and dump,
Scammers will certainly create their own defi to deceive investors, so it is important that people take care and not rush into any defi project that pop up in the market.

I think this is something that is natural and often happens in every season. It needs to be said once again that things or projects that are popular will definitely have a scammer coming in. You make good writing because it can remind everyone not to over-invest in popular projects

All the investors are looking for profits and no one will be doing anything to project any hypes and i was not that interested in all these hype jobs and i really never gave any serious thought about these DeFi projects but recently i saw an article that some of the projects earned over hundred thousand percentage in a few days which is really crazy and no doubt the scammers will infiltrate this too.

Not all DeFi projects are good and reliable, some will perform better than others and also some will end up pretty bad like scammers taking advantage of investors, investors only need to do better research before investing on DeFi project

Everyone needs to be cautious with their investments especially in newer DeFi based peojects because many people will try to take advantage of the hype also this hype can prove to be a bubble so in the end millions of people can suffer with their money trapped in different projects because of entering at high prices. Just do not feel fomo and i am sure you will get correction and a second chance to enter but do pick your projects wisely.

Scams are already here, and it will only get worse from now on. Hopefully, it won't be as bad as it was with ICOs, because anyone could launch and ICO, while DeFi is more like a loose club of tokens and platforms. It's crucial for anyone who gets involved with this market to learn to analyze if a project is actually recognized as DeFi by others, or is it just a scam that gave this title to itself. We'll also likely see "DeFi review' sites to start popping up, but just as with ICOs, a lot of them will be shilling for scams. So, do very careful research, pay attention to the big names of the industry, and don't invest if anything seem suspicious.

Scammers are already ahead of the warnings. What you can do is just invest in the old defi projects only if you don't want to get scam. There is Aave that is pretty much the most profitable I guess.  

There are also Defi projects that are endorsed by DEX, you might found it very appealing but you could just wait for it to be listed on legit exchanges before investing.

DeFi is a new segment and the hype is real because it is the most attractive product in the market right now because not only you have found a decentralized way of holding your coins but at the same time you can make some passive returns which has really attracted the investors, regarding the current hype i think it will stay for sometime.

Scam DeFi projects will surely rise very soon, it will be the same thing as ICO era, people need to be very careful and also bounty hunters need to be careful which DeFi projects they want to promote

Where the money is made, the crooks are not far away. It is pretty like the same like the ICO hype during 2017. There are enough tips in this thread how one can avoid to get scammed. But even with these tips there is likely a chance to get scammed. So if one invest in many projects one should be clear that one will lost money. But hopefully it is less than your profit.

Been seeing DeFi articles all around my social media account and honestly, It brings me consciousness to open some articles and read it. Got me hooked up but naah I won't fall for the hype.

Of course, people will hype it because they see a profit from it and I don't want to have the same experience before falling from a hype project. This could be a good project but I'm sure lurkers are just waiting and getting ready for it to be taken advantage.

Lately, there is a craze regarding DeFi projects. Looking at the solutions being brought into light which is basically to leverage decentralized networks and to transform old financial products into trustless and transparent protocols which is able to run without intermediaries. Although it is hard to say but, I still believe there will be people who will fall for the scam ones, because seriously the hype is just too much and many people will be caught in the web of hype thus being taken unawares when scammer starts their games. I agree with every being said, hype or no hype making research on any project before investing is the best way to go about it. Defi project's concepts are good but it's hype is getting out of hand thus everyone should be careful and take appropriate actions to protect their funds from scammers.

Right. Scammers will also use the trending investment to trick people again. Just like the ICOS they have scammed people through it. And with other the same crowdfunding. And obviously for this trend of Defi, they will also get into this hype.
They will do something that's very attractive to the people who are wanting to invest in Defis. If their sole living is coming from scams, they will come on this so those people who are into defi investing, beware.

Scammers are beginning to enhance their skills in terms of attracting many customers in order to brainwash them and for them to patronize their shitty products.  The victims of the crypto scammers are keep increasing and it is a sad part because there are now a lot of investors that are suffering because they lose huge amount of money. We should ne careful especially the DeFi projects because most of them are creating hype in order to attract a lot of investors in their bad project.

It is on hype recently and said to be one contributor for the price market increase for both bitcoin and ethereum. We can say that it's actually true because the market cap for those coins are touching the market which also goes to these coins in anyway that we can imagine.
But the bad part is that there will be them who don't have good intention as they create their own defi token, just like the old way, the ico days, they ride the hype.

 In the case of all the noise and hype about Defi  what i advise people is they should trade with caution . its not always as juicy as hype makes it look . some investors are already crying of losing to some of the trnding Defi  project. .

They are already being released gradually. The scam projects are actually on the rise and they also call them Defi projects. If you take your time carefully well to study them, you would know if they are right for you or not.
We should not be carried away by the hype of this time. Sometimes, the scam Defi projects among others will het more hyprype than the good ones. They are ready to do anything to convince participants.

I strongly agree that DeFi projects are not always good for investment choices, in fact many newbies experience huge losses
due to investment on DeFi projects. Because a lot of promotions related to DeFi projects by scammers, this makes newbie fall
for DeFi projects. That must be remembered always do your research and analysis properly before making an investment decision.

Some Defi coins have started breaking hearts with pump and dump and some after listing on a particular exchange team dumps it on investors and run away so any coin or projects that claims to be Defi please always do your research before jumping in. Scammers have already started invading.

The repetitive defi has already started to appear in the market. Some have been offering the same ideas and we must also stay away from such defi. The product should be the main consideration before we wanna try to invest in the defi project.

 Alot of fraud and scam are already noticed in DeFi project. some  investors are already com[plaining . I just hope the way the hype on Defi project is going it wont turn out to be like the then IEO which alot came out just to scam investors . we need to be careful in investing in them anyways.
