Scammers are already using it, I pray that people will wisen up now and be very vigilant cos not all projects that claims to be DeFi are real but nonetheless they should look out for the real one and take advantage of it as I have really benefited a lot within this DeFi Era

I feel kinda bad i wasn't on DeFi train and i think it's fading soon so i can't really cash with that. I guess i focus on my current bags even though they are running late to this bull market. One of them is even defi but haven't being picked up by bulls yet.
The defi project is just a trend happening right now where their token will create new hype when it is on the market but I will not be bullish about to come whether this will be a good thing or just bullshit because the defi project is mostly a scamer going on. mostly use useless project in Defi , they just take name Defi or " Y " token and shilling it in many crypto group. i know and be a sight while developer team ask to community to shilling their project. this is the way how the scammer will work, true developers never use this way .product will be their priority. just take away from Y token or Defi its hype will over now.

Theres a significant amount of projects jumping ship to DeFi because of the hype. These projects jumped to DeFi inorder to ride the wave DeFi was pulling. Its actually sad if youre one of those people who believed in those projects only for them to change routes inorder to gain more investors.

actually it is an option for those who already know the situation, that defi projects are used by some people to create hype, some people might be tempted and participate there. whatever it is as long as you are fully aware of what you are doing is better than not knowing but buying right away without doing research.

Projects need funds for the proper functioning and further development of the projects, it can't be done without funds as a lot of good projects have been dead just because of the lack of availability of funds for the developers to support development. I don't even mind that the projects that are shifting towards DeFi and are genuinely doing this to get funds to support the project, we should hate those projects that are doing this in order to scam the investors and abandon the project after they sell their share of coins or premine.

And now the decentralized network fee like Ethereum is very high, thanks to DeFi hypes Although there are many DeFi projects created recently, some of them are not a real DeFi project. There are some projects that just turned into a DeFi project, not from the start.

I think the DeFi hype is quite similar to the ICO hype. When ICOs were getting launched in 2017 it gained the investors attention and people started throwing their money in every ICOs. Many scammers used this as an opportunity to scam people in the name of ICO. I think DeFi projects are going through the same trend but with lesser attention than ICOs back in those days. But still there are many investors who are throwing their money in DeFi projects blindly. Stay awake guys. Not all the DeFi projects will turn out to be a huge success. So invest your money wisely and only after researching the project thoroughly.

Yes, I did notice that, there are certain projects which have implementing DeFi in its development after DeFi hype came into the market. Because they think they could take advantage of this thing to attract investors towards the project.

Over time this will also be fully revealed, because those who take advantage of the DeFi hype for their own purposes will not last long, especially since investors are also smart enough to make an analysis of what they are going to invest in.

By the time this trending hype of DeFi projects subsides a lot of investors will realized that they had been scammed, every tom, dick and harry are now interested in DeFi projects, whereas there are other non DeFi profitable and credible projects that worth investing on, some investors will never learn from their past mistakes of throwing their hard earned money into fake ICOs then I wouldn't blame them because of the impression of earning huge profits quickly by investing in DeFis which had been the present talk in the crypto world.

Too rapid growth in prices for a certain cryptocurrency has little time to justify itself in terms of capital investment, especially if such investments were not at the initial stage of these projects. Now the price of tokens such as YFI has reached such high prices that the risk has long exceeded reasonable limits. At this stage, I no longer intend to invest in DeFi projects, it is better to observe them from the outside.

Do not fall for just any project which claim to be DeFi projects.
Yes, you are right, but many of the novice investors sometimes ignore it. They haven't studied in depth what DeFi is and what it's good for crypto globally. I don't care about "All DeFi" myself. Because of the ICO, IEO, and whatnot until I forgot their name it was all just hype for a moment.

It’s just strange that good projects like Swipe (SXP) do not receive the necessary investment, and fraudulent projects like sushi receive large investments. It happens some legit project lack of exposure than those scam. This is the way of scam able to attract more users and in the end no improvement in their project. A lot hype and let us be careful when looking for a project to invest.

Lots have burnt their fingers and learnt the hard way from fake ICOs, and except for crypto newbies, I think the awareness and caution has increased much much more, from the bygone ICO influx.

I dont ever decide on investing on something due to some hype. Its better to do your own research rather than to fall as a groupie due to some hype.

For people who have gone through the ICO sensation a few years ago, they will definitely be careful to determine the project and will not easily fall into Defi trap (maybe they are just forgetful or greedy), I think Defi hype will only make new investors feel stressed. considering since the pandemic a lot of people have been in crypto

that's true, old players will surely know, Defi is just a trend and soon the trend will disappear, Defi has been launch for a long time, but still don't realize that this will be a trend, just like ICO

I think so, scammers will be taking advantage in DeFi hype to take new investors assets. Like ICO, investors must be carefully with this a trend
