When new ATH is reached I will sell off half of my bitcoin portfolio of course I would have made a reasonable amount of profit for hodling I will surely use the fiat to buy something tangible things maybe landed property to serve like a memorable stuff that I can point to as reward for hodling bitcoin ie I am going for option 5 I am not going to sell the whole portfolio  for I know bitcoin to become a future asset and new ATH will always be reached in the nearest future.

The bitcoin will become remain at 5k to 7k I guess because it will become a lot of loss if the market price of the coin falls down because the people rapidly panic selling.

I am a long term holder and the first option is what I would prefer at my end.
It's well known that long term holding makes huge profits and I believe that bitcoin is bound to go big in the long run.
Along with that I am holding ethereum too since I like the tech and the team behind it.

I never think of anything happening in the market, because I don't have a big fund in terms of bitcoin. If I clearly understand the ath price is reached, I'll try to cash out or to USDT what is available in the form of bitcoin. That's not even a question though. I will definitely go for number 3, without a doubt. Because actually, even a little increased happens in the market, it became my habit to sell off huge part of what I hold. I don't know, if it is a bad thing/gesture for someone, however I don't mind, since it was already a gain, after all. Well, anyway, that's what everybody would do (sell), whenever btc market price came to such point  . Well, who would not?

I will be just praying to god that bitcoin transactions will finally cost a lot less because right now it costs about 0.0005 in some places and withdrawing that much amount when the price is $20k would be seriously killer for me to use bitcoin, I will 100% surely move to another coin. Bitcoin needs to figure out how to drop the cost of transactions and we as the people who use these exchanges that steal from us via the "withdrawal fee for transaction fee's" type of scam need to make a noise.

There are too many places out there that charge you a ton of money for withdrawing, the bitcoin itself is charging you a lot for transaction as well actually, even though it is lower than withdrawal fee, it is still a lot. Until that $20k happens I want them to go down to 10% what it is today at least, and if not I am not going to use bitcoin.

This is still a far cry from the real price because Bitcoin's price first needs to return to $20,000 because if this price is achieved, then BTC will soon reach the new ATH. I still have faith in Bitcoin but this is not the time for you to be optimistic because the bear market can come back anytime. However, this is a good time for you to consider investing because the value of Bitcoin is still cheap.

   My original plan is to hold Bitcoins as long as I can. What I learned here on forum are benefits of selling on top and buying
back when price drops, the next time Bitcoin make new all times high price I will consider selling half of my Bitcoins and
if price really drops I will buy again and I will have more Bitcoins.

Initially as far as Bitcoin is still not reaching another ATH, I am still keep on acquiring more Bitcoins at a cheapest price possible because I do plan to hold a part of it when the price reach a new ATH and also sell a part of it to gain profit and buy more when price started to put down and that is when I grab another opportunity of acquiring more Bitcoins to hold again and sell to gain profit. That is the usual cycle most of us basically do. Buy low and then sell high and somehow hold some for good reasons of course.

Right now I am just focusing on how I can maximize my earning capacity to acquire more Bitcoins that I can so I can buy more to be able to gain more profit once Bitcoin reach its new ATH. I am buying what I can while the price is still affordable so that I can obtain more potential profit when the expected event or scenario happen. This is just normal and seems to be a cycle for us who have Bitcoin. We tend to seek for opportunities on how we can earn Bitcoin first then sell it once the price increases and then coming from that earning buying again and then do the same thing repeatedly.

Sell? I mean if it reaches to a new high you should sell. Only buy when something goes down and only sell when it goes high, do not buy something that is going up, and do not sell something that is going down. People are basically doing the exact opposite of this because of emotional thinking and that is why I believe there is basically zero chance that people who fail to understand the basic concept of "buy low, sell high" would make a profit.

Moreover if you want to make a profit from ATH, I would say just focus on holding your current coins, you do not have to sell, but just don't buy at least, and when you hold it, there is a huge chance that you could make a profit by focusing on the lows and if things get low you could buy in bulk thanks to that.

My plan has always been to get into Bitcoin when the price is at its lowest and then when it increases I will sell it and make profit. And moreover I have really tried, cause' I have been holding my coins since 2018 that I invested. I have two wallets, and one is a hot wallet, a wallet that I use every day for making transactions, then there is the second wallet which is my cold wallet where I store cryptocurrencies that I want to Hodl for a long time. Whenever the price is low, I buy coins that I have confidence in and then hold them till their prices increase and I sell them.

When we target something very big prices, I guess long term holders will not bother price levels like this. Getting back to current ATH is highly expected one and I am expecting big growth incoming months so that bitcoin may reach $100k or 1 million dollar level as well. If we are patience enough then we can easily enjoying such high levels for sure.

I believe most forum members must be waiting for such targets rather than looking for short term target like $20k levels. I guess through this topic, most people might have got good idea on what they can exactly expect from bitcoin in long run.

The feeling of selling at that price will be so strong that it will be very difficult to resist the urge not to sell especially knowing how the market operates, if btc hit 50k it could easily correct down to a very reduced price just like what happen back in 2017, so am sure when that happens those people who miss selling back in 2017 would be so eager to sell, although we can't say for sure if btc will hit that price.
