to prove they're not scammer project and minimize your investment of being scam...

1. look for the team if they're legit and real human... prove to yourself if they're human and real, not fake linkin from russia, reddit or facebook stuff...
2. list your find...

All these does not still guarantee a 100% investment safety. The space is just so volatile and unpredictable reason why it is good when you invest what you can afford to lose

nothing guarantees 100% investment safety. You can buy a new car at the dealership and they will also not guarantee the car will work fine. Things happen and there were cases where people bought new houses and found out the pipes are leaking and the walls are cracking.

It's great that people are beginning to demand more information from the teams because some of these teams were involved in scam projects before.

If a project has even one scammer in the team you should warn people about them and stay away yourself.

If they have a working product for the project that would be a great plus for me because that will make me a bit more comfortable with the project but, TBH finding a project with a working product is a bit tough.

Good advice. You pointed out a bitter truth, Russians! 90% of Russian projects are a scam, so better avoid any new crypto projects from Russia. After verifying the team, I would look into their activities on twitter, like events, partnerships, good media coverage, unique technology, and so on!

Original projects cannot always be judged by the original team. Everything is possible in crypto. It's hard to say anything until the project is scammed investors fund and gone. If you check the history, you will understand how many projects have been brought by the real team and scammed the investors. So it is risky to invest here depending on the actual team. Only a project team knows their purpose, it is up to them whether they will develop in the future.

My finding on any project claims they will give you back fixed ROI when investing in their project after a certain time is a red flag that you should stay away.

Checking their profile, their headquarters location, their past record of development,... All is just information that if they are pro in scamming, they could let you see what they think you would like. Don't be fool by all the information that can be easily pulled and check. That's my advice.

That's good suggestions because it is very easy for some of these projects team to steal someone's or an expert's Identity from LinkedIn, so making a good research about them, and as such, asking them good and constructive questions which of course will make them prove their knowledge of the project is a good move; most times they ignore questions like that. Also, to add to your list, I believe an active social media channels is also very important, because one of the ways that potential investors will know that a project team is actually working is when they see series of good updates from the team. And lastly, an active community also is good because it shows that the community have come to understand the project hence casting their support.

If you do want to invest in any crypto related works, basically the first thing you must do is to acquire prior knowledge related into what work you wish to do and that is investing. Acquiring basic knowledge on how to do investment is the first thing any individual must do before deciding to engage on any investment. Once you have done doing that, then you can proceed on finding potential crypto that would be good for investment. This would need prior knowledge on crypto which supposedly you have acquired upon engaging into this industry.

If you want to invest on old coins, seek for the reputable ones which can be basically be easy to find out on reading in this entire forum or doing research by your own self. But if you wish to invest into new cryptocurrency, getting to know the project where the crypto comes from will be in need to identify if it is a legit or a scam one. Checking the profile of the people behind the project or the team developers are good but not all you can see can be true and it does not mean that if you identify already the good one, the project can already be assured to gain success. You must still do prior observation and research about it and analyze the data you will get and see if it will suit your preference before conducting investment.

It is hard to say if the project you have invested with would be successful or not basically if it is a new one. You need to take the risk if you really want to know the outcome. Just assure that you are equip with prior knowledge about everything you must know before doing investment.

I fully agree with the idea and with these two items because they are simple and efficient. Therefore, if people followed these two steps, there would not be so much frustration and discouragement in people due to expectations created by the moment and not by knowledge.

So seek knowledge to increase your investments avoiding frustration.

Note* I write about projects that can do something for society. Now whether this will happen depends not on me, but on the project team. I'm just a writer... DYOR

We need to understand the risks of investing in crypto because many of us do not understand that if we invest in a scam project then we are more likely to lose capital. There are some tempting projects that they haven't been able to develop very well in the market for the last 1 year and now they will show some greed but actually shitcoin and they are ready to run away scam.

For sure it's not the outcome that you wanted to happen with your investment. DYOR is a must in
terms of investing your hard earned money
it will lessen the chance of any falling to scam projects if you know how to investigate and do the right research about
those coin that you planned to invest your money.

There are some tempting projects that they haven't been able to develop very well in the market for the last 1 year and now they will show some greed but actually shitcoin and they are ready to run away scam.

Intentions are there coming from scam developers so better to always keep your guard and not to fall to this tempting projects.

Lost money is inevitable when investing, but if you know how to analyze and select potential projects, you can minimize a lot of risks. Patience is a must when participating in this market but to make a profit, it is entirely based on your analysis because if the project has no prospects, you will definitely lose and this has been happened to me many times in the past.

Losing money is one of the risk that we have to accept when we join any business not only the cryptocurrency market. You're right that we need to be patience in order to be successful in the cryptocurrency world. Importantly, we need to equip ourselves with proper knowledge and skills about this market. Having understanding about the market is critical to our success!

1. look for the team if they're legit and real human... prove to yourself if they're human and real, not fake linkin from russia, reddit or facebook stuff...
2. list your find...

really? that's it?
no check for the project itself and how valid it is, what is its potential, and if there are any competitors how far they are yet from competing with this project.
you need to check the history of the company or team, did they drop another project? how old this idea is.

don't treat crypto as it is different from the real world projects as we are in a virtual world.

you should always work on this as you are looking for a startup, how would you choose the right startup??

It's true! Checking for the team is part of the job, we need to focus to the project itself. We are looking for a project to invest and from that to earn profits, not looking for evidence just to prove that the project is real! Even if the project is real but it doesn't have the potential, shouldn't we drop that project and look for others? Focus on your purpose, not others!

not everything has to be done that way.
some projects that are good and trusted don't have to do that, it's like mutual trust between the team and investors, although there are still more that cheat and make people's doubts less and less.
but every day people's knowledge will continue to grow, so it won't be easy to be fooled.

  • see who they work with,
  • see which markets they will collaborate with,
  • whether the concept is new, or just imitating other projects.
  • see the developments they have made to date.
However, this is not enough, you need to see its development every day.
