If you want to invest in crypto, the first thing you need to find and verify its whitepaper. Yes, I know whitepaper doesn't important like it used to be but that still a good start to find any disparate in any new project.
New projects can easily copy the whitepaper, and you will fall into scam projects just by checking the whitepaper. It is better that you take other measures such as checking the team, product, and partner of that project ... The whitepaper plagiarism is a thing but I'm sure that any attempts of blatant copy and paste from another whitepaper can be found and enough to raise a red flag. Sure I would stay away project doing that kind of thing. There is also plenty more way to check a project as you have said. I also believe that those projects are scams, if they are reputable then surely they will have a good idea and have a whitepaper of their own project. Never waste your time on those projects because it will never be successful in this market. analyzing the whitepaper is very important and reading it carefully and in detail and checking if the whitepaper is complete and has complementary resources as well and doing a good and correct analysis of the whole project whether it is a fake project or not. because there have been many projects that ended in scams and all kinds of ways to convince people to get involved in them.

to prove they're not scammer project and minimize your investment of being scam...
1. look for the team if they're legit and real human... prove to yourself if they're human and real, not fake linkin from russia, reddit or facebook stuff... 2. list your find...
agreed, i always find some project that used innocent people picture to create the team project. they usually use picture from russian linkedin. they changed the name and translated the description/bio from russian to english. luckily that some people in this forum are investigate that kind of project and warn some people about it.

Well, that is the common case even before. They are using false information and identity to make fool of their investors. Most of the time, they are using a popular personality to attract more investors. That's why we should always look if this is real or not.

A good step is to do an investigation of the project team, so before investing we are obliged to know they are legit and real human. Although this does not guarantee that we will not get scams, must be accompanied by more in-depth research on these projects. Such as the whitepaper, roadmap and social media activities.

Besides this, you need to check if their community is active, is the code available on GitHub, if yes what is the level of activities? Is the roadmap achievable and it is really worth tokenizing?

sometimes these little things are often under-researched by investors before they dive into crypto. right now I think maybe we should be more careful in looking at crypto investment so that the investment that we carry out can remain in the best position

I don't think so because before investing I am sure they have researched it properly because if they do not research properly the project they are participating in then the risk of losing money is very large. ok, maybe it applies to new investors but not for long-time investors in the crypto world. scam projects cannot be avoided even if have done the research properly.

In short, there are many factors to look for before we can say the project is good and not scam. We need to dig deeper and not only look for the potential income we that might earn. There are still legit project existing we just need to exert an effort to find it.

I cannot totally grasp what you are pointing out. Before investing it is your duty to diligently make research and look at the legitimacy of the project and the team. It's your money, it's your responsibility. Do not trust any review sites sites since most of them is paid, you can use them as a reference but do not use them as guidance. Crypto investment is full of risk, and it's difficult to determine which is legitimate or scam and which will fail or succeed.

Investments that are true can be deceived. Especially those who are not open and honest. Money can be lost. Investment risks like that, how can we minimize our finances in order to remain profitable from investment.

LinkedIn isn't a reliable source to find details if someone is real or not, desperate scammers can create many fake LinkedIn accounts this year and start using next year or two to make people who are curious be satisfied, i would rather go with the popularity of the team, there must be some past companies or projects the team works for before creating their own project, this is the way

Good advice mate, always invest what you can afford to lose just in case because anything can happen at any time, crypto projects are unpredictable, the ones that looks bad or not good enough can bring the best profits sometimes, do your own research and make good decisions.

First of all, do not listen to/read the nonsense that you will be told in cryptocurrency telegram chats. Now, as I see, the time of hype on crypto is returning and again like mushrooms after the rain, telegram chats with signals and invocation for potential 10x projects began to appear. Think with your head.

It is also important to check their whitepaper. Beside fake team, fake whitepaper can be fabricated with some copy pasting. Always remember to conduct intense research when we want to put our money in any crypto project, otherwise we will lose our money.

Yes, if something like that can be done by everyone in crypto, then there will be no complaints or complains in crypto when people experience losses, only what we often find is annoyance and complains when there are losses and losses. greed get the best of us all
