before the corona bitcoin is below 8k, now it's over 11k.
on march bitcoin below 4k and stock market below 20k. if you bought bitcoin march low that is 3x bagger now. at this point corona really help the crypto-currencies and don't forget the dollar is weakening because of u.s government freely issue their currency, which make gold and crypto-currencies strong. i don't really understand your point here.
basically the 2008 u.s great recession creating bitcoin, now the 2020 u.s and world recession/corona which make the u.s freely issuing their currency that make and solidify the crypto-currencies. people start to realized about this and why crypto-currencies is pump right now, u.s currency is weakening.

I think the month when crypto got major setback by COVID19 is March and that's bygone. Right now corona virus has no visible effect on crypto market, BTC and ETH are pushing, that's a good sign the overall market is healthy. In essence, I don't agree with the so-called experts OP mentioned.

As a newbie, one mistake you cannot make is believing every expert word for it; Experts are there to act as a guide; to bring you to a logical and simple solution to an answer you already have. This means that you individually need to find facts and proofs about some certain projects; that an expert suggestion should either be a validation of your research works, or be a wrong view.

NB: Never use an expert or an influencer words to guard your investment motives.

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all sectors of the economy and the crypto industry is not exempted, thats why I agree in the opinion of those experts, but not the entirety of the context, because as we see it today the market is improved a little bit so it means that those experts were already wrong about their prediction regarding the crypto market improvement.

I don’t really believe with the experts though. You know why? It’s because their predictions are not accurate at all, and there are no guarantees that they would make it right. No matter what charts, patterns, candlesticks or other techniques that they have, there are no guarantees here in the world or cryptocurrency.

It’s clear that the crypto market is highly volatile and unpredictable due to various circumstances. Like for example, when Bitcoin is soaring like crazy, there might be whale dumpers who are watching the market and wait for the right time to strike in dumping. Scammers who stole a lot of Bitcoins from the victims are also watching the market and will mass dump when they want.

I don’t agree with the experts. I highly agree with risk management. Just my two sats.

I think traditional economy is under pressure due to corona but crypto market is nicely placed to grow because due to high inflation and devaluation of fiat money will flow into crypto because it provides the perfect hedge against traditional markets.

Agree that Corona is affecting the whole world, and it is causing the economy to collapse. But for crypto, I don't see it affected too much. Prices have been going up since March and now bitcoin has risen above $ 11k, without the Corona virus, the price of bitcoin might have broken ATH by the halving

Can you provide any proof of evidence that these experts that you are talking about is really constantly monitoring the market? Because if they really monitor the market, they don't say such thing as corona affects the growth of cryptocurrency. We can see the continuous growth of crypto despite having the pandemic, it is clear that it does not affect crypto at all.

strongly agree, because when the global economy weakens, the impact will be on all sectors such as crypto online investment. people are running out of money and big companies are also declining, the selling price of goods will go up and that will make the economy weaker. unfortunately, the purchasing power of crypto investment will weaken and that will make the market difficult to grow. because people will focus on their lives how to survive until this pandemic ends. After the pandemic ends and the economy begins to grow, the crypto market will also grow.

What it is suggesting that, if corona didn't happen, we wouldn't have dropped to $4k and since we wouldn't drop to 4k, all of these increases that we had so far would be putting on top of the current price so we would be even higher if we didn't drop.

But, what is missing in this calculation is that if it didn't went down that much, there wouldn't be that much buying neither, the price would have maybe gone up a bit more, but not that much, anyone who thinks "we went from $9k to $4k to $9k again, instead we could have moved that $5k on top of $9k and be $14k" do not know any math and can't be called an expert. That is why I think this corona didn't effected us the way it effected everything else, we have been doing very well and that is why I do not really think that bitcoin could be seen like it could have been even any better.

Ofcourse , I monitor the market constantly, but I don't agree that there won't be improvement in the crypto market as a result of the pandemic, there is no week I check the value that it is stagnant. It is either up or down, Corona may elongate the time of growth of it because in one way or the other, cryptocurrency has a part to play in the world economy

I would say you can use their knowledge for further research but do not base your decisions on the calls and says of someone. Corona has destroyed the world economy, but l think the pandemic could not affect the crypto world. But in my mind the effect of corona is so low to crypto. On the other hand as you above mentioned the pandemic has been reason of growing the market. l prefer making own research instead of relying on experts. Experts can not say everything true and more than that as you mentioned maybe this expert has said something without watching the market.

But it seems you're not aware that it has recovered already and we are in this sort of mini bull run, ETH even broke it's barrier of $300 and looking forward to hit $400-$500. So net effect is only short them.

Of course, who wouldn't monitor when our money is here as investments. As for those so called experts, they are just like you and me and majority of average joe, making wild educated guess. So don't put 100% trust of what they are saying, it is not a guarantee, better do you own research.

I guess the OP needs to check the current happenings in crypto market. Bitcoin is already going up even with this pandemic situation and so with the other alts particularly eth. And in terms of those "experts", I don't believe such experts. Most of them are self-proclaimed experts and what they say is just a prediction. And prediction most of the time is a miss from the actual scenario. So even us, can have our own prediction.  Just trust your instincts when it comes to your own investments.

You agree with them in regards to the crypto space? Well that's your choice but I hardly agree with any so called experts because over time their analysis do not seem to work out, starting from various price predictions and what not. Now going back to the main deal, when you compare the price of Bitcoin and ETH during the height of the pandemic to now, or even when this post was made then you will agree with me that they were wrong; these two coins has made significant growth while Defi projects has set in a new path of hype, developments and growth.
Just to add, what I have come to understand is, people are moving on with their various ways of life already thus the crypto space in its own way, will continue its normal way of doing things and so on.

Yes, although we seeing a lot of improvement for today's market with both Bitcoin and altcoin rally, the dreadful disease is still looming large. Till we remove it completely, the market is at risk for any moment.

The improvements that were happening with the crypto market has already proven even during the pandemic and what already predicted by those experts were BS.

Crypto is not the same as traditional economic system. crypto can adopt with any situation that is happening right now
