Bitcoin will touch the high price in 2020?

It will reach high price in 2020 of course but whether it is a new all time high or not I am not sure. But I would already be very happy and fulfilled if Bitcoin will close this terrible year with its price closing at around $17,000.

Forget about the $33,000, $50,000, and $100,000 for now. They will come later.

Oh that's more realistic than thinking of that high range and be disappointed whenever you see the downfall comes your way.

Predicting the value of this coin is everyone's desire, there are lots of experts and speculator who are trying
to sort things up and predict the range where bitcoin will proceed.

Closer price from the last time ATH and then next year will double would be an interesting movement.

I think its set for a pullback near term, its rising on lower volume then previously which I'd guess makes it less stable.   I've seen some dramatic charts that predict it will gain alot on a macro basis but my argument with that is year to year predictions allow alot of leeway for price variance and time for trend to occur.



Last week was ok volume but the week before that was below average and we'd been low volume for a while before this latest break through.    I actually believe BTC touching a high in 2020 represents a negative, in terms of price stability and its growth long term its better if it coils up in a stable manner not parabolic which ends up being viewed retrospectively as a spike.

It won't be possible for us to see bitcoin price rally between the price you predicted this year. Albeit the market looks bullish, but the price of bitcoin won't exceed above $15k this year, due to the global pandemic affecting the world's economy.

The new ATH is likely to be reached when the bitcoin price hits a price of $ 16k or more this year. I honestly also hope that the price of bitcoin can reach a high price this year, even reaching a new ATH. However, the price above seems to have become an important point to reach the new ATH in 2021.

I am sure that will happen soon, no matter if it will happen this year or next year because bitcoin price still trying to break every high price level. If the price breaks the new ATH in 2021, then we still have much time to earn more and more bitcoin, and I think we can make more bitcoin by trading bitcoin pair altcoin since the altcoin increased. But we need to search for the right coin and analyze it, so we can have the chance to make a profit. Some major altcoins are also rising, check Eth right now, it's about to break $400. But as far as hitting it's ATH, it is still far but at least they are moving in the right direction this 2020. So 2021 is the year wherein we might be in for a big surprised specially BTC.

Nothing is certain when we do talk about on things that would gonna happen in future but being too optimistic is just somewhat not really that recommended.We can predict
all we want but we should be at least realistic in numbers.We have seen several threads talking about not reaching ATH or even reaching 500k to 1M prices but to think first
that we have reached 20k last time then we would definitely able to break it out but theres no definite time on this one since all is too unpredictable.For now the thing
we can only do is to wait up for the time or we can still utilize these current movements to make profits without the need on waiting up too much.

its uesless if a country legalize bitcoin but if the crisis is still there  because people  cant still buy btc even if they are excited

I doubt in this higher prices this year, higher than last ath. We can be happy with this price now, just to stay at this levels for the next year. If this is a new bottom, over $10k that should be a great thing for all of us and the rise that waits us in the next year.
When you look at the charts feom16/17 you can catch some similarities with what we have now. Just numbers are higher, and if we judge by the charts from history we will see some significant rise next year.

Have you check the gold price currently? Its price now has touched its new all time high and traded above $2030 now, it means there will be many people who will spend their money to buy gold.

I know some information about stimulus from US governement and if this stimulus has been sending for US citizent then we will see the volatility price, pointed out that many people now are aware against investing.

But I have no confident if many people in US especially will spend their money into bitcoin since just a few person who knows bitcoin there. So as most people will choose gold and another safe heaven asset to storing their money  in this pandemic situation yeah maybe a few of them choose crypton currency.

If the crypto market recovery can continue to be good towards the end of the year then a bigger pump is likely to occur in the following year which is the prediction of the bullrun market.

If there's a chance it will touch a new high, I would choose the lowest on the choices, for a very simple reason that I don't want bitcoin to dump even more because it will correct when it's overvalued due to FOMO.

So my answer to that question is yes, it's possible if... pay attention to the word if.. if bitcoin remains bullish and altcoins will have the same behavior.

with the pandemic not yet over, it's hard to see a new ATH this year. but bitcoin performance in the last couple of weeks is already astounding. as we are nearing 12k, further increase is on the way. the price levels mentioned by the OP are really high imo. we need to be realistic so our actions will be realistic as well and not regret whatever decisions we made in terms of investments.

^^ Makes sense but also BTC is not centred on an economy as such, its an exchange of value system thats outside the traditional Dollar bias.   I dont want to see economic pullback, poor health & deaths with overspending but the sum total is weak currency which on balance benefits BTC.    This rise since March has been way too strong already not to observe crypto is gaining some benefit in its ratio to weak Dollar standards and FIAT currency generally.

A high price in dollars is possible because the dollar is worth less in 2020 then 2017, so nominally we can see a higher number if currency flow allows it and enough value comes this way.

I agree that firstly if it ends up 10k above in this year we have achieved the first thing. Secondly now it is testing 12k range just like how it was 10k which could not break for few months. So if it can cross and stays above this levels then we can see it can be above 12k range by end o f2020 which would be the very good thing.

To be honest, I'm not fond of prediction thing though but anyway, I don't think BTC would be able to reach new ATH or even hit ATH within this year 'cause I don't see any thing that would trigger it or any favorable circumstances. But you know, I'm kind of surprised, because despite the situation/problem everyone were facing right now, still, market display positive movement.
