It was reported by AltcoinDaily.io that their official Youtube channel has been terminated by Youtube, as they claimed to have promoted illegal activities.

In other news, hundreds of fake giveaways has been popping in Youtube and they don't do anything about it. . How ironic it is.

Lol, maybe this is just the second round of waves of banning. We have since this happened last December 2019 wherein there's a lot of legitimate accounts being banned because they went full nuts sweeping everything that involves crypto.

For sure they can appeal their ban and be reinstated. And I agree that Youtube should focus more on those Elon Musk or Vitalik Buterin fake giveaways, even their ads have been infiltrated by this criminals already. So let's see how it goes, if AltcoinDaily.io is legit then reinstate it, simply as that.

Well, Youtube is here again, terminating youtube channels that talks more about cryptocurrencies.
This is common actions by Youtube especially last year I think or it is this year when there are lot of big youtube channells was terminated or some of their videos that talks about cryptocurrency was deleted by Youtube, but after some appeals some videos was taken back by Youtube.

Youtube is still number one but we still need a venue similar to Youtube that showcases the best of Cryptocurrency videos we already have Bittube Lbry among others but Youtube is very popular among Crypto and non-Crypto users it's a great site to promote anything bandwidth is great it never lags compared to to other video sharing sites.

Is this the channel of Austin and Aaron brothers? IIRC, their channel has been flagged even before when a lot of crypto channels were affected but they were able to retain it. But this Youtube's move of doing this to their channel is ironic.
There are tons of scam ads yet they do nothing with those. Why focus on these channels if they can't take down first those ads that are popping everyday that are scamming thousands to millions of viewers in a daily basis.

Let's us crypto-coin -users- -altcoin specified- keep on flagging profile/channel/group that are scam/unsafe. That where my problem -on Google- Google are failing to filter/sort scam from profiles, Google users should know this.
With the Twitter giveaway scam will some get scammed by give aways? Free btc/altcoins will be a scam-80%+ such a crazy/stupid scam to fall for when you can check/investigate the bitcoin address of the scammer.

Unfortunately, the issue is way bigger than ban of one particular channel and you know it already.
This thing with ads was insane and way back before, like couple months earlier there were a lot of bans of crypto related channels on youtube for literally no reason

The scam ads were taking over crypto youtubers like crazy. I really hope they get rid of it eventually and re-open their account soon and not start another round of censoring everything that is somehow related to cryptos. Its hilarious that Google doesn't even have employees who can understand what is cryptos.

Its hard to recover a terminated channel unless there is a strong community support for them on other social media platforms.

Youtube just assumed that the channel is part of that scam giveaway, because so many big Crypto channels are doing this, they just generalized allbi Crypto channels as part of scam giveaways, if you present your case you have a big chance to be reinstated don't lose unless they can provide that you are part of the scam giveaways they will give you back your account.

Yes, if they are not doing any fraudulent activities or spreading fake news, they don't have to worry. They can just appeal to YT, and the YT on their end will review their channel. It is very likely that YT removed it because they are tackling about cryptocurrencies. And they are not the first actually to have that problem. Several of these crypto-related channels have been shut down. We can't blame YT, because with so many scammers and fake promos, what they did is just shutdown these channels to avoid further ruining people's funds.

I would say that this could be the start of the next youtube crackdown and they are going to hit at any direction just like the first one and then reinstate if they ban the wrong channel. Yes, its really sad that we can come around ads and fake giveaways and they are too slow to react. They should focus more on their effort on the crack of this scammers instead of banning a channel that might be innocent at the end. It doesn't look for them as they are really doing a poor job.

There are a lot of alternatives to be honest, but sad to say that no one comes close to Youtube in terms of exposure and monetization of your channels.

I think the community is really working hard fighting scammers using Youtube as their platform. I'm sure you are familiar with the This be bbcode.org!]Scam Accusations[/url] board. But it's going to be a continuous mouse and game and I do hope that no one will fall for this trick and everyone should be educated to know these scams, specially that we have the twitter hack last week that bring more attention to this so called fake giveaways.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has done this but still, there is no update. He has sued YouTube for those scam videos that are popping.

There is a possibility that it will be turned back to them.

But it's for YouTube to decide, so if there is no action from the management, this is a bad experience for the Altcoin Daily channel. YouTube may or may not targeted a wrong channel because there's much more important issue than terminating this channel.

The rampant scam ads is their enemy this time.

Maybe they were accused of pump and dump attempts.
Youtube is a little hyper vigilant with such reports IMO. They've had too many ponzi schemes try and reap the benefits of affiliate marketing and youtube has started being more careful with such, especially in terms of crypto.
