Have you tried to check Twilio?
I tried to use their free service before and it's working fine I just stopped working in my SMS project before with WordPress using their API.

Sadly that is not really what i'm looking for, they provide voip numbers.
I'm not looking to send numbers, but receive them.
You can take a look at services like smspva or textverified.com.
Basically a service like them.
