Absolutely, Xrp is not that potentially good for the investment because it hasn't surprised us by growing significantly and that's the reason it wouldn't help subsequently to make a profit.

It depends on how many years you want to hold it! XRP, of course, a good coin, though a significant part of the crypto community doesn’t like it! But XRP is still holding the third position for a long time. I am worried about the holders because the XRP coin's movement is not good enough even in this alt bull season! XRP crossed 3$ in January 2018. That was the crypto bull run. Not only XRP reached ATH, but even some shitcoins also pumped very high. XRP is centralized but that's doesn't mean it's bad. Everyone has their own opinion but I think holding XRP for a long time & hoping for best return is a bad idea. You can make profit but not like other cryptos like ETH, BTC. But XRP definitely is worthy of holding

Ripple is one of the best projects I know and it is definitely for the long term . I dont support the crazy price speculations of ripple mooning to a 100$ and its all simple that . Ripple will definitely get to that point but only in the long run not anytime soon .

For all the members who posted here that believes it's going to go higher, what do you think of Jed McCaleb? He sold some of his coins continuously from 2014 up to now. It's quite weird to believe in a currency in which the owners or founders of it doesn't hold it altogether. With the Ripple company selling $32.55 million worth of XRP in Q2 of 2020 [1], it's a sign that they probably need the money. It's hard to support a coin that even owners don't hold.

Whenever there arises a discussion related to ripple, someone will state its growth as manipulated. I don't say it is wrong, but just through manipulation it can't stay strong in the top list of the entire cryptocurrency market. From my view XRP is manipulated at times, but there is real growth. Th is can be understood by its continued progress in development and partnering with different centralized firms to use the Ripplenet on all transaction needs. Without doubt XRP will be safe for long term.

if in terms of enthusiasts they just keep on talking bad to this coin  . for the development i havent heard a latest update to the team but for the market and volume i can say that both are stable  . ranking is not also too shabby  for a coin that is being look down alot by so called experts   . price isnt that high but price isnt also that low either because there are also simillar ranked coins that has a verry small value aswell but any of those are a best buy whether we are a trader or an invester

What is it? can you tell me the clue about that? i didn't even find any interesting in XRP as the product that has already made by XRP are only for bankers and the crypto users never seen any product that involves the XRP coin as a medium to use the platform or in a short explanation make the ripple coin to be utility coin.

Even when ripple is still sitting at the top 5 coins in CMC and it doesn't mean this coin can be a safe coin for long term. There's not volatility in the ripple market and traders are not interested with this coin anymore as ripple never gets a pump.

I think the op was very clear on his question, xrp is a long term investment, working with banks and financial institutions to bring something different is not what you can achieve in few months, this will definitely demands a lot of time, only those who want to invest long term will consider this, and note that occasional price pump has no relation to potential.

Good if you still have the patient is waiting for XRP price to go up. Yup, I will buy more XRP if I think that the price is down deeper. I will sell XRP if the price can touch more than $1 and rebuy because I am sure that after the price touches that price, it will go down deep before it goes high again. But once again, I don't know when it will happen, while the price now still below $0.5, so we need to wait for more.
