I have been looking for coins with good potential for growth and the possibility of staking. Coins that offer staking option seems like the best option for medium to long term investment to me because even if they lose some value, staking reward could cover my loss. So far I found only one that I like and see potential in it, but I want diversity to minimize my risk.

Did you hear pancakeswap platform? They offer staking of other coins you may check their platform and also they are always updated to their project. Although they are new to this industry but I can see this project is promising just my opinion. Of course you also have to do your own research before investing.

Try ADA, its been one of the top coins so far that is for staking and with huge potential in the market. It wouldn't be on the top if it wasn't traded with huge volume and capital which investors are probably staking the tokens to earn more. It won't cover the loss immediately but since you look for long term, this could be what you need. The project still is on its early phase and price still is less than $0.10

Vechain is insane, easy to earn the VTHOR tokens by staking VET.  Definitely a cool project for supply chain and backed by big businesses.

If you asking someone to give you a suggestion, well no one can't really 100% believe the coin will grow they only doing a DD analysis, fundamental or technical. But can't really 100% successfully the review could be in around 50-80%.

I think you need to survey some coin about their movement price, take one of example my coins X-CASH. Not a stacking coins, but a privacy coin the price in 3-5 month always moving in around lowest price 40-30 Litethosi if you lucky can get 20 but the highest price could be reach 100-120 Litethosi, sideways price in around 50-70.

Staking is just a marketing tool to make the price pump. In fact, staking rewards are usually so small to cover losses. I used to hold a decent amount of NEO to get GAS but when bitcoin collapsed, GAS couldn't help me avoid losses. One more problem with staking is that you need to hold a large amount of coins to get a decent amount of staking reward. Although this is altcoin board, I'd like to advise you to buy and hold bitcoin or at least, re-think about your intention in holding staking coins.

Thanks, I have already fixed the link. There's a bracket that I've missed putting. IOST looks passive but I've seen the days when it was one of the most popular altcoins.
The gains that it gives to the investors were good back then.

Is not it better if you join in the staking event that available on the exchange site like binance and others? these coins were also offering very good APY at this moment. You can also earn more coins when you are adding more native coins like BNB.
It's better because BNB has a lot of liquidity too and that will make you confidence because you can sell your coin anytime.
This is the best choice that you can take it.

Of all on that list I think it's psychological that people will go on much higher APY rather than the lower one and that's ATOM on that list but this coin do fluctuate heavy too so not that recommended unless the staker or investor has that of risky appetite. The main advantage about staking is it doesn't let your balance go low and if you're of a HODLER in nature it's pretty good rather than putting it on your wallet that doesn't you earn fees or tokens as a reward besides staking on exchanges gives you another benefit like lesser transaction fees.

If you're a trader and a HODLER then definitely staking on exchanges is much a preferred one. I think Binance and Coinbase are trusted and established one might be good for the long term if you gonna stake rather on other exchanges but if you find there's a much better APY on the others maybe heading there is a good choice but it always involves risks and it's always does.

I really don't recommend investing in this way. Even if you get profit from the staking system, but I don't think it's worth the time it takes. better to use the mainstream way of buying when low and selling when high. do not get hung up on coins that use the PoS / staking system. even if you get a token but there is no guarantee if the price is still stable.

Most of the times, staking in many platforms do not worth it at the long run, you will realise you only ended up wasting your time. Also, most platforms only implements staking just to attract more users without having any plans of making the platform to last long term, hence you might be staking and won't be getting a good reward, but if you want to stake, Tezos is good altcoin already and have staking abilities and you can do that easily with Trust wallet.
Nevertheless, if it's in my place to suggest, I would say go for more potential altcoins like Ethereum which have the ability to give a good return most especially with the ETH 2.0 fast approaching. In the same way, Bitcoin is also good for long term, at least the recent growth can attest to this fact.
