I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

many coins that I have sold from the bounty, and many coins that also have no price because the coins I hold are scam,
of course if the price is good why not sell them ?, I also need money for that

I only sell my coins if I see that the price has pumped very much or if I have the opportunity to make more money on other tools. there is no reason in just holding coins that are not profitable

usually I throw away to buy it back cheap, because other bounty participants will also throw it cheaper than me, so I take the opportunity to buy it cheaper, if the market is really good, I will start first, but if only my DEX exchange is not will buy it again because it will be difficult to progress and develop, but if the coin has the potential to enter into a large exchange, it's best to keep it in the bag.

I selling my coin because I need money, I mean you don't usually go bounty hunting without getting the rewards and sell after getting it on exchange unless it does have any value or you see the potential and opt to hodl it a bit longer to gain a little more profit from it.

I don't dump coins actually, if I invest, I will just let it rot if in case the coin will not progress, I'm not worried as I have a lot of coins in my wallet.
My principle is very simple, if others will fail and the rest will succeed, as long as I'm in profit in overall, I would already be satisfied with that.

Even I had dumped my coins recently. I had bought some coins a few years ago and I had planned to hold it for long term but recently I sold it to buy more potential coins and hold them for a long term. The upcoming ETH 2.0 upgrade is quite fascinating for me and I wanted to take part in the PoS so I bought few ether from the dumped coins. I hope my decision would benefit me in the long run.

I did a dump because I was not strong enough to hold the coins that were held for too long, because the coins that were held felt they had no direction and also had no potential, besides this the factor of new coins that looked better was also the reason why I dumped.

Quite a few of projects that you would think have no future just a year or two ago are now performing well, so those instances of project re-animation are happening, but on rare occasions. So you can never be 100% certain where the project in question will be a year or two after you dumped your bags. But generally, I of course agree that exiting something that has little promise is the best option, especially if you can exit and get a decent amount of doe along the way.

I do hold some of my bounty reward tokens especially when the team are good, the supply is small, there is a real utility of tokens which is most important, such features will definitely make me to hold a token and not dump, but sometimes I do sell when I really need the cash to solve one or two personal problem.

In the past I used to keep the coins I earned from bounty programs because at the time the projects were very good and if I kept I would make a profit. However at the moment I usually sell 70% of the coins received from the bonus and convert them to BTC or ETH.
For example, if I earn 10 coins I will sell 7 and keep 3.

Sometimes an investor need to understand the fundamental of his investments just for the sake of confidence. The confidence could help to determine if to sell or hold. When we have a ridiculous price pump in short term, experience tells to sell a good chunk and hold in more stable coin or top coin (bitcoin and ethereum). Most ridiculous pumps are rare in most projects, to prevent the risk of greater loss in dump keep some profits.

Throwing coins or tokens from hunting is often done if it is listed on the exchange, if not, then hold it first and if I sell it, then I exchange it for a more famous altcoin so that its value increases, by being traded in a short time and more importantly  can reduce the risk of loss

Everything is logical, if you see that the company from which you have tokens does not move forward at all, then of course it is better to sell these tokens if there is such an opportunity and better to invest in other cryptocurrencies, because there are a lot of cryptocurrency companies that close very quickly due to various reasons.

Don't get your hopes up or hold new tokens in the long run, because sometimes new projects don't last long in the market, unless new projects are updated frequently, products are running smoothly and projects always have good progress then you can reconsider.

Three years ago, when I participated in a large number of bounties, I often dumped coins because I wasn't sure about every project. Now I choose projects caution and carefully, I'm confident in these projects, so I prefer to hold.

I did the same, only holding coin/token that I saw a good progressing after the bounty end or project look like it has great potential. Other than that, I just dump it right away after I got it from the bounty. I think a lot of people are just like you and me. Sometime, we can't be a holder of a coin without a good indicator.

Most are doing the same for sure, it's nature to everyone not to hold if there's no concrete reasons.

if there' no clarities on the side of the developers, why would you hold coin / token if you ain't sure for the future
or you are not trusting the team.

Everyone are eyeing for decent benefits, you'll hold assets because you
understand that future will be good and it will bring nice benefits.

I think I have dumped my coins once, and not really all that long ago but at one point I got bored as well. I really didn't see any upside at all, it wasn't recovering and I wouldn't really continue to fight for something like that myself if I do not believe it.

Normally when I get into a coin I just work on it like talk about it everywhere, tweet about it, discuss about it everywhere and so forth and do my best to make it go up and get it known by more people, however when there is nobody that I can convince and the price is going down, there is no way that I would continue to work for it, I mean why would I fight for something when there is absolutely no way that it would come back to me? If I work for it I want it to go up and make me profit for it, that is why I quite few months ago.

i sell my coins because the price going down and break some major support zone
so, in my opinion, the coins will going down more my friend

I usually have the habit of insuring my coins and rewards in general for a possible increase or readjustment of the market but due to the stagnation of the market we cannot have an absolute certainty of appreciation with only speculations of development. However, in the final analysis, projects need market movement to appear in high or low morale on a famous website such as CMC. So selling or insuring will depend on your short, medium or long term goals.
