i sell my coins because the price going down and break some major support zone
so, in my opinion, the coins will going down more my friend
So, you sell the coins only because of the decline in price? I think it is not a strong reason, mate. If you sell the coins because you suspect the coins will be dead coins, that's the right way. But selling them only for fear of further price drops, it is not necessary. You can hold it a long time and wait for another bullish time in its price. As long as the are the coins from good projects, don't worry to hold the tokens for a long time.

I'm usually patient with coins I invest in or get from Bounty, but once the team is not performing well as expected, I have no reasons holding the coins long term. So it's all about product development, marketing and all it takes to achieve project aim. Or if I spot red flags showing team is not genuine or do not care about the community, I dump their coins to invest in better projects.

I rarely sell tokens or coins bought or received from bounty/airdrop. The few times I sold were simply to take profit, buy back the dip or move over to any other viable project. There are always consequence for every decision to sell or hold and have learnt to be responsible for them, then move on.

I'm not a very active trader, so the only goins i dump/sell are from airdropped tokesn from projects of which i think that they don't have much coming in the future.
I only do bounties for projects which i want to hold for longer, that also applies for my current signature.
If there are no bounties from good projects available then i just don't do any bounties for a while.  Smiley

I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

I think this depends on some factors and also not only coins gotten from bounty can be dumped as at when due, even coins one invested in, he can still decide to sell. That being said, many people sell for different reasons, some can sell to get quick money, some can sell to exit a project which they no long have trust in, some can sell high and buy low again and so on. In my own case, I sell for different reasons but the prominent reasons I do sell is when I no longer finds the project attractive or when I finds the team aren't up and doing again.

We have different reasons why we dumped coins so for me the reasons to sell coins are to buy other coins that are worth in the market. If the project is very promising I usually hold it for the long term. Actually, you are not the only one who holds and decides to sell their coins. We find ways that can give us a better profit.

During the time I was participating in airdrop and bounties, had different sets of coins in my wallet but all seems to be poor, worthless and I definitely dumped all of them, but I noticed something,  that the progress ones or rather the ones having strong team behind them keeps rising and becoming having value, I see no reason why op should dump coin in as much as those coins are listed on a great exchange. On the other hand, series of dead coin are lying helpless in wallet without listed on exchange, those ones are the fit able ones to dump no matter the time.

i got some coins from way back by doing some projects, most of the coins are still not climbing up in value. ive waited years for them to have value and up until now they're still pretty much useless and so i dumped them just to let go of it i guess. i kept monitoring them for years, its time to move on.

Depends on the market situation. Usually Ive checked hard if the project has potential or not. Token value usually depleted and you will never know what would happened so better to dump some to appreciate your earning. My strategy is usually dump half and hold half. By that you can at least be sure if the project is worth at long term period or not if it dumps then you have no regret since you already sell half.

The simple reason why I dump my tokens / coins is because the Developer coin did not have a significant increase on their project. For example, such as adding new features or adding their coins to well-known exchanges, which in the end can be traded every day with a large volume.

And of course, a community that continues to grow is the main pillar of forming a large network.

One of the reasons is because of community. because community is the most vital thing, because without it I think a coin will not be able to develop and also sometimes actions of the developer also have an effect because usually there are several teams that cheating by selling their tokens secretly, since 2017 several projects have done this. and the result is their project dies and my reasons are these two things in dumping some coin.

This is something that we should be used to the market is moving and dynamic and we always go for-profit and progress of the project we have invested in, not because you dump your coin you do not believe on it, maybe someday you will pick it up again after dumping, the most important is you dump it with good reasons and at the right time.
For the developers to avoid dumping they should continue and keep up with the development to avoid the impression that you are neglecting your project.

the reason I throw away my coins is due to economic factors when I need money to fulfill the daily life I am forced to sell even though the price of the coin/token is falling.

I've been a great holder of tokens especially those derived from bounties, but I noticed that holding tokens are not always a good idea, that explains why I developed a new strategy to hold some percentage of the tokens and exchange some to more popular coin like bitcoin and ethereum. I believe this approach would help reduce the risk of holding only new projects.

in the end, it is out of necessity. To be honest I just sold some of my assets because of a need to be met. however, I still want to hold onto coins that have potential, it's just that, the strongest factor that makes people sell their own coins is an economic necessity. there may be other factors that make people dump a coin, such as a potency and others. however, I believe they just exchange those coins for other coins.

I usually sell coins from the bounty to buy coins that have good prospects for long-term investments such as the current top coins, because if we hold coins that are low quality then the price is difficult to increase if used as a long-term investment.

Usually i sell my coins because price is ICO price or more, if not i will hold until something urgent that cause me want to sell my tokens. Only with that 2 reason sometimes make me keep my tokens longer, and this is real, sometimes when that urgent time come, price already dumped very much and under ICO price.  Grin

Most of the holders will likely to dump those coins/tokens that are not progressing that much and will likely to shift to other currencies where they
can earn a better profit.

In my case, I only dump my coins if I have emergencies or I can sense that this certain currency will likely to fall in the following days or months then I will transfer
it to a stable currency before I will invest again to the currency that I like to hold.

Dumping only makes sense when you have solid and logical reason to do so and if ypu think team is not doing well or the project has lost its way you can definitely sell and flip into a better one but i think even to do that you have to give ample time and support the project otherwise the project may surprise later prie example is synthetix network.

I dump a coin if the developer for that project becomes untrusted. Usually, because the developer contradicts his original vision for the coin or how he changes the plan when it was in-development without clarifying the reason for it. Too many delays or failed to meet the promises also put into consideration.
