I still not understand why a dead project can come back to life using defi platform, And what makes the DeFi project so special these days, many their tokens can pump so high that make investors get multiple profits. We will see in the future the DeFi project will be born everywhere.

Because Defi is the trend of the market. Like 2017, all new projects are successful with ICOs and reap a lot of profits for the project creators. So be careful with Defi, I think it will crash in the future just like ICO

No doubt defi wave has been bigger than expected and many projects are trying to use defi in their project somehow. I have even seen ico projects claiming to be defi after seeing the hype around defi and this thing is still growing and does not seem to end.

The hype only give them opportunity to revive a dead project since its trend owner use that as advantage to pump his coins even whales do this things to earn money from a hype project. Its not new since that is also happen in ICO and IEO before when they are the one who's is trend.

Nothing beats the 2017 ICO’s when all shitcoins pumped. Defi is new but I don’t really see difference when it comes to hype and people love hype it makes the market more exciting and live. I just really hope that investors know what they’re doing after all they’re into to this to make profit but if they choose the good ones but some may fall into trap.

DeFi is on the hype now investors are looking for a project to invest but why the experiment on these dead coins that adds defi when there are already DeFi projects in the market that has good volume.

Yep, this is a strange thing from the hype which is weird, there is a token that I checked late last year (December) is a dead project and since they penetrated into "DeFi" everything has changed and now the token is close to 1$ which is supposed to be only 0.01$

This is true many think that it is easy to make money from such projects, so they join it without doing any research and in the end it becomes either worthless coin or turns out to be scam. But Defi is the trend now and anything you invest are giving some good returns so make money and exit it. If stayed for longer would not be worth it besides some projects.

Yeah they are just taking the advantage of the hype by adding "DeFi" to their names. I mean, you know most people are sheep. I bet most of them knows nothing about DeFi, they are just following the hype train and investing on it.

Lol...that's funny though.  It seems dead projects want to be hiding under the hype and boom the defi projects are experiencing now.  I think we need to be wise and look carefully before choosing some of these defi projects so that we won't fall victim of scammers.

Everyone is singing of Defi right now. Defi is stealing the show, I don't have any problem with the Hype around Defi but I am just curious about what may likely be the end of this whole show. It is good to make money now through Defi project but don't invest blindly.

this market is a gold mine for many developers, look that they no longer care about ethics. Everything that someone creates new in a short time is copied/paste by other projects... I don’t understand why we need 6400 altcoin if most of altcoin are copy/paste in the most scary Is to know that the number of new projects increases in speed of light, I don't know where we're going to stop this.

There's a hype but not all the projects adding defi are profitable to invest, some are not legit and they don't attract investors TBH.

DeFi projects have the hype but not all projets in DeFI are hype, that's the reality if you look closely.

Yes but not all of them, they are riding the hype most of them made a x2 to x10 on uniswap but upon checking one project they are using a bot to buy and sell on uniswap you can tell its a bot because it is coming from one address it keeps buy and selling to generate volume, be careful with those kind of projects they can pump and dump using a bot. This will be the end of tokensale on DeFi like they did on ICO before, don't jump into it without searching and digging info and facts.

Definitely a DeFi Hype, many sees a potential for decentralizing finances. These what the hype of DeFi brings and many were taking advantage before it will start again to outgrown by other hype that investors or whales soon to do. Better still analyze what the project still is other than putting the DeFi term.

I compare new DeFi projects with the rating https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/, where projects such as I think are added after verification. I see that cryptocurrency exchanges list such coins very willingly, which in turn increases the volume of trade and moves the price up.

It doesn't seem like that. People will not enter into a project to invest. Just because it added the DeFI name. People still think about other things in the project, such as the product, the team and so on. That DeFi is just a hype right now. it does not mean that all projects can compete because of DeFI.

But a lot of projects that were previously thought to be dead are actually doing it and people are earning huge money by trading those coins just for a day or two. Developers are taking the last profit from these coins by just finding a way to add DeFi in their name and viola they can make money again from their dead token again. I believe this is unethical and shouldn't be done as the community is already watching so many scams going on here in offerings of tokens and bounties and now this new type of scam is gonna make the community regret that they invested in these types of tokens. I have never invested in these type of scams and also always try to encourage people to not get themselves down this rabbit hole.

Cause it was the new buzzword for any failure project to make the last attempt to revive their project. I bet most people don't really know what is a DeFi project so of course, they just need a few pump attempts to create enough hype and exposure for their project.

It's true and it looks like there will be many of them who will return to dead projects when this trend disappears, or they may only get a little exposure considering people are certainly more interested in fresh projects than buying a token from an emerging project.
