IEO is the new IPO. Binance had some cool IEO's this year. Namely,  Kava , Troy , WazirX , Cartesi , The Sandbox ( which will happen in a few days ).

In the terms of new hype, DeFi is what seem to be the market best choice. IEO was another major hype after the ICO time.
However, I have only heard of cartesi and many traders have taken gains of it by trading on it.

Everything are only good at the beginning, just like what happened in Internal Exchange Offering (IEO), and you are right, it was new hype after the ICO fever time way back on year 2017 - 2018. And what I observed lately, when DeFi started to make some trend, and look now, people started to get REKT.
But when you ask some people, they really making a lot of money especially in the beginning of this trend.

IEO and Uniswap were most attention seeker and they did pretty well in terms of pooling investors. In crypto there is observable thing, if ABC concept is hyped naturally then it runs over like woods fire. Literally, this Uniswap project came out of no where and did it's blunder job. IEO on the hand making progress since it's built on trusted exchanger ever and its new concept in terms of crypto projects. First everyone are used to ICO but it is too much condensed now and everyone needed to have different ways of investing money. So surely for me these two are on top of the list.

Very informative thread and I really liked the fact how investing is moving from ICO to slowly towards DeFi based projects and decentralized exchanges like UNIswap and sushiswap.

Defi and IEOs on large transactions are still the 2020 trend. Almost all IEOs on Binance help investors make profits.
I don't know in the future what the trend of cryptocurrencies will be, maybe it will be some form of investment that we are not aware of.

DeFi is surely the future moving ahead because the concept of having an economy and banking sector being completely decentralized is just amazing and brings countless opportunities like I was recently learning about how the liquidity pool works and I really feel amazed by looking at what the possibilities are with crypto and blockchain.

There's a lot of new cryptocurrency risen up and trying to make a name in world of digital currency. It maybe DeFi, IEO and lot more but it is true that everything was only good at the beginning. We can't still name what crypto  would going to be next trends. This Crypto's are struggling to keep their name and struggling to keep their useful especially when new rising ICO's pop up which has a more satisfactorily features compare to the recent trend one.

IEO had a billion dollar investment IEO including in it as well, people were really interested in it, everyone wanted to be a part of it, but in the end they ended up with not much interest over time, not that much money is invested into IEO anymore as you might imagine.

DeFi is similar, there is a huge interest towards it right now, and with money "locked up" in many of them and fake numbers given, it looks like billions of dollars got invested but in reality it is nowhere near that amount but of course that doesn't stop the interest towards it, but just like IEO lost its hype, DeFi will lose its hype as well, in a years time nobody will really care about any new DeFi and there will be something new that will get all the attention of people and all the funding as well.

All the trends mentioned in the opening post are still good to be able to generate profits in 2020. For the time being I have made
a profit from Uniswap tokens and IEO trends, but I doubt this trend will be profitable for the long term. So if you have profit coins,
immediately sell them to secure that profit. Because there is a possibility that the coins that you hold, the price can be dumped
suddenly, if we learn from the past when the hype occurred when ICOs were trending. In a short time, the ICO trend became
worthless and many investors suffered losses at that time. Learning from past trends in the cryptocurrency world has never lasted.

You didn't have to follow so much projects, if you bought bitcoin in the March is enough to make huge profits of all time for this generation investors.Because the price went deep down and almost hit $14K in the next few months so its 300% price growth is the sweetest gains of all the schemes.

It depends on the route anyone chooses to take. There's obviously many avenues to make profits from crypto. Like Bitcoin, there are other altcoins that have seen good gains (3x to 7x) since the market crash far back in March this year.

I do believe in the concepts of not putting all eggs in all baskets so participating in other endeavors aside from bitcoin and it's gains should be encouraged. However, Its good to keep in mind the risks that are involved with them. I personally think incentivized testnets and IEO (if done on a big, reputable exchange).

So how many of these trends has kept it going as of recent ? From the start people has been saying that most of these trends won’t last, because all these yield farmers are not interested in the technology or whatsoever, they are just there to exploit the trends and then they will dump the tokens on the noobs or the latecomers. That’s what they have always been up to from the start. Have you checked DeFi as of today? Most of them, if not all, has decreased badly.

The average decrease is around 60% and that’s really bad. The question now is whether they are going to be able to recover from this downfall? They might just remain low from now on, although the good thing might be that those who are getting in now would be just because they value the ideas.

It is very easy to succeed in cryptocurrency in other words Crypto trends in 2020 is very difficult to succeed in cryptocurrency because to succeed in cryptocurrency you have to do a lot of service which does not always happen. Once you have mastered the cryptocurrency you can achieve great success and if you cannot master it well even if you invest cryptocurrency will turn into a loss.

Transition from ICO to IEO is a very epic innovation and correction of the problem associated with ICO.
With the features of IEO, I feel more trusted projects will be funded and investors will minimize risk beacsue their decision to invest is based on the exchange platform and not necessarily the project.

IEO is interested at the beginning and it loss it's interested at the end.So the project value will reduce again and the token value also may vary by that impact.People funding project will get more success.

Honestly I've made more profit this year from Uniswap DEFI projects, even though I mainly swing trade them, not investing long term. Once I do my research, and make sure liquidity is locked for at least a year, team tokens locked and maybe with a scheduled release, team is public, there is a product or MVP (just to mention factors I check), I buy in early and sell in profit. With closed monitoring, I dump my tokens if there is a reasonable FUD to avoid regrets. I made a lot of money from LAYER and recently TRU tokens. I'm not usually lucky getting into Binance IEO /launchpad.

Defi coin, Uniswap, and IEO are the crypto coin that trend and still trending. The Uniswap token came as surprise and the price were high, Even though I missed Uniswap I was happy for those the was lucky. I don't pray to miss such token like Uniswap again.
