Today I came across a page by chance where you can compare how much exchanges charge for withdrawal for a certain coin. This is really helpful because especially small and medium coins have partly really high withdrawal fees which you usually only find out when you are about to request a withdrawal and then have no choice but to accept it.

In my case I wanted to know where the cheapest place to trade and withdraw OCEAN token is. The comparison showed me four exchanges, where the cheapest one charges just $0.42 (1 OCEAN token) and the most expensive one $4 (9.5 OCEAN tokens). What an immense difference.

Check out https://withdrawalfees.com

I found the site interesting and with its information and another interesting point is how the tracking occurs keeping the short and long average prices. The question is can we trust? I believe so because the same tracking mechanism is the same as for the ranking sites. Finally, it's a good site to research and it's worth remembering that it's not an advertisement but a personal analysis.

This is quite really fantastic findings I must say.  Times in the past, I have both spent and wasted lots of gas fees on meagre transactions.  Since then I have been trying to look out for exchange where I can trade conveniently with minimal gas fees, especially if the coin I want to trade is listed on more than one exchanges. I tried to find the exchange with most favourable trading price as well as low trading fees, but I've not really come across a site that will do multilateral comparison.  This is good and I will definitely check it out.

I can add two things:

1 - Don't use a small unkown exchange because of their fees. You may end up in a scam exchange and lose everything.

2 - It is better to swap to a cryptocurrency with low withdrawal fees. XRP is excelent for that. Usually XRP withdrawal fees are 1-5 XRPs, whichi is quite lwo.....

I don't understand why suddenly fees are so expensive this days, it is very difficult to transfer small amounts now without making a high transaction fee, I hope this high fee will come down at some point, I have few tokens to transfer to an exchange buy I must need gas fee and fees have increased a lot, this is really difficult times.

Thanks for this great exposition. I sincerely haven't come across the website before, but I must confess that it's very beneficial. I immediately bookmarked on my browser because I know it would be of immense help. Withdrawal fee atimes is not available for one to view in some exchange until one have the token to withdraw and this could make it difficult to compare prices across exchange.

Thanks for this, some exchanges are just too expensive. Binance has increased their USDT on ERC20 withdrawal fee to about $2+, I understand this is because of the ever cloging ethereum network. Hotbit is one exchange that is notorious for withdrawaal fees.

Too bad, they don't have a shorter button to show up a coins/exchange with a smallest to high or reverse or from high to lowest fee. This could be helping so much, so we don't really scroll or going to the next page for looking coins with a small fee

Yeah, some exchanges are just exploiting the users via withdrawal fee, i still remember when i used to trade at hitbtc exchange it often had rediculously high withdrawal fee and i am sure it will still be the same, exchange are already making a killing if you sum up all trafing transactions and they want high withdrawal fee as well which is nothing but just a kind of ransom.

Yup, that's what I was expecting, for example in the list, I search for Binance and it loaded 232 coins where there's no option to sort from the highest to lowest vice versa in terms of fees.  As you can see https://withdrawalfees.com/exchanges/binance

Anyway, I would like to thank OP ,though not as what I'm expecting but it's still a big help.

Thank you for providing this information because it is very helpful for everyone, and when I see the list of link you shared, it turned out to be true if HITBTC was in the first position for the most expensive FEES

It's very necessary to know withdrawal fees of any exchange even before you make deposit and trade, thanks for pointing out OP. Some exchanges have ridiculous withdrawal fees. Also, if you wish to hold a coin long term in your personal wallet, please do check the withdrawal fee of the exchange before you buy it. Some coins like TRX, DOGE, NEO have negligible withdrawal fees in some exchanges, reason why they are good for inter exchange withdrawal (example from Binance to Kucoin).

Thanks for sharing the link.  Cool

Whoever the developers are should add more on the list. It will be one of the best comparisons website if most of the exchanges are there and they have listed how much the fees are.

We need this if we're wanting to trade somewhere.

Yes this is the usual things I do when I do trading. It hurts you know whe you trade and your possible profit will only go to transaction fees being deducted from the exchanges that one has been using.

Relativy having a good exchange may boost possible income when trading and lessen the possible losses due to high transaction fees being deducted to every transaction.

You have raised a very good issue, and believe me the withdrawalfees website will come in handy. Also, what about circumstances where the token is trading in a single exchange and there no other alternatives to trade? For that, i recommend that traders can take their profits and withdraw through the token which has the lowest withdrawal fee on the exchange; it could be xrp, it could be eos etc

That site is really helpful when you want to reduce the fees you want to pay. But you need to consider about the liquidity of the exchange as well as the support. Because you might be chasing lower fees but it would take days and days to see your coins. Withdrawal fee is one important factor but if you can't get out your funds, I guess it is better to use an exchange with relatively higher fees but you have your peace of mind that you will receive your funds. Also, check if the trading volume of that exchange is what you're looking for. Because sometimes it would take days also to complete your order if the exchange is small and don't have much of trading activity.

That is right. Fees are one of the things that I mostly consider when going to a transaction. If it is about the withdrawal fees, several exchanges may have an almost similar rate of the fees. but some have higher rates. that is why we can go to the sites at first and check on the transaction fees, withdrawal fees, and other fees that may be required.
Comparing fees from one exchange to others may help us to reduce the funds to spend, moreover if the amount that we are going to withdraw is not a big amount.
However, please note that choosing an exchange is not only about the withdrawal fees but also other fees and other indicators. Thye is such as:
- Trust f the exchange
- Trading volume
- rate of the coin price (higher is better than other exchanges)
- Minimum withdrawal
 and others.
if you need to trade in certain exchange and the fee is high you can convert to some coins that have loser fees such as TRX, XLM, and others.
But the problem is if you will withdraw it to the fiat. I am sure that in a country may be some exchanges and we can compare each other about fees for withdrawing to fiat.

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the service. I just found it by chance and find it super helpful.

This is good findings to be frank and will help in a lot of ways but it is also limited which can be seen in cases where the token is trading on just one exchange; also I see it as work in progress, that is, more room to upgrade. However, in my own opinion, I find it better also withdrawing via the coin with lowest fee such as Trx, XRP, XLM. Also, USDT can work too if the exchange supports TRC 20 chain, that is, when withdrawing USDT from an exchange like Binance, via TRC20 chain, there is no fee, however not all exchanges supports it.

The purpose is not to show you coins with small fee, rather the purpose is which exchange charges how much for different coins. I have checked it. This is perfectly designed. People need to check a certain coin and different fees for that coin. I do not think anyone will ever search which coin is the cheapest.
Nice find, have zero smerit at the moment. OP, I think you should move the thread to service discussion.

I didn't know that there's a website to compare withdrawal fees. It's a great source of information about it and easily be seen. Thanks for sharing OP.

Personally, I don't check the withdrawal fee before trading just because it's not the greatest parameter you should look into for an exchange. The best factor when I'm looking into the trading exchange is with the trading volume that they have. That's more important to me compared to the withdrawal fees.
