hello every one i need help with old passphrase

If you need a fast way to check all the addresses, just copy/paste them into a new Electrum "watching-only" wallet ("File" -> "New/Restore" -> "Import Bitcoin addresses or private keys")... it'll find any/all transactions relating to those addresses and you'll be able to see which ones still have a balance.

- don't try and use the 6 word passphrases, that won't work in Electrum... just copy/paste the addresses. At least that way you'll see whether or not there is actually anything to find


I'm not aware of ANY wallets that used a 6 word passphrase... and because these 6 word phrases seem to be attached to one specific address, I don't think they are a true "seed mnemonic" for an HD/BIP39 wallet, but as mentioned earlier... I'd think they were some sort of "brain wallet"... or maybe some other custom system used to create private keys from words???

start again as per this guide: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed/

pay attention to the what it says next to the options button in step 4. if it doesn't let you proceed then you can try checking bip39 under options. after you do that it should show bip39 checksum ok. if it doesn't then you have a seed that is neither electrum nor bip39 and you can't use it with electrum.

then in step 5 select legacy as the script type. try the default bip44 derivation path and if that doesn't work then try the one for multibit hd:

Even if the checksum does not validate to true the seed can still be valid this is a requirement in the protocol.

As far as i can see the 6 word phrase should be used as the salt or password in conjunction with the 12 word Mnemonic.

I tried different combinations for the "standard" SHA256-type Brainwallet:

Does the document that contains this address and 6 word passphrase combination, also have a "global" 12 word mnemonic attached to it? Or are the 12 word mnemonics that you have in a completely different document with different addresses? If there is a 12 word mnemonic, and then the individual addresses have the 6 word passphrase, it's possible that the BASE16 is correct and the 6 word passphrases are "BIP39 passphrases" and you both the 12 word mnemonic + 6 word passphrase to derive the correct private key/address.

This depends on the used protocol.
At this point it can be several things, but there are also things that can be excluded due to the nature of the provided data so far.

We do not know anything about the compatibility of the words from the mnemonics to the available standard procedures so it is not possible to pin point one exact mechanism at this point in time.
Meaning it's a guessing game still.

It is in the OP's best interest to check the words from the available mnemonics to the suggested word lists to see if this can reveal inclusion or exclusion regarding the identification of the necessary processing mechanism.
Once that has been done its only a matter of inputs and outputs, but without it, it's like trying to shoot a sitting duck, in the dark.

Bitcoin Core uses wallet.dat by default, the other wallets are probably renamed (by the user). I've collected many different filenames over the years too.

It's easiest to download Bitcoin Core, but you don't need to download the 300+ GB blockchain.
After loading the wallet, click Help > Debug window > Console > Enter "listaddressgroupings".

You do not need to download anything to check addresses, you may just open filen in Bitcoin Core and then you should see addresses and transactions.
In fact, you may even see addresses if you open .dat file in text editor and look for phrase 'name', which should be followed by an address (but it is very simple and not really trustworthy method).
In fact, you should use Bitcoin Core and then in the console use command 'dumpprivkey' to see if you have private key for the given address and if you may spend the balance.

how about you tackle one thing at a time? try restoring from the 12 word seeds using electrum like i said.

I was talking specifically about the bip39 protocol.
And this thread deals with pass phrases and mnemonics in general.
I think the first thing OP tried doing was to import it into electrum.
From his last post i realized this is about a lot of mixed (alt)coins and that makes it even harder to solve.
