So it's my first time setting up litecoin mining, and i've really been trying for about half a day now...
None of the Miming Hardware Comparison 7950 configurations work for me, I think it's because of the thread concurrency, Right now the best my card can run at is whats listed for 7970's, 8192
Worse off is that if I raise the intensity above 13 I get 100% hardware errors
Running win764 with bfgminer

I've even tried the "add 2048 at a time" thing, 8192 is the highest i can go and i can't raise the intensity
What should i do? I should beable to get around ~600kh/s with my 7950, not a max of ~270kh/s

Wrong TC can cause much HW. Also if you cannot increase TC and the miner gives an error about free allocation units you must increase the system memory - RAM.

What card and miner sw you're using?
XFX79503gb (not a doubleD, but same PCB)
BFGMiner (fwiw 8gb DDR3pc1600)

Using those setttings gets me ~28kh/s
If i remove the --lookup-gap then i get 240kh/s
Intensity was too low *facepalm* somehow i missed the intensity setting when copying the config
Using the above settings im now running at 512kh/s (without the --lookup-gap)

Nice. You should get 600+ Kh/s out of it though.

Get sgminer http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1xanpt/ann_sgminer_410_release/
Test with kernel "zuikkis"
Use Catalyst 13.12 drivers.

Test with:
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",
"gpu-threads" : "2",

Play a bit with gpu-engine, lower sometimes gives more hashrate, or upper a bit.

Then most undervolt the cards to prevent throttle, damage and reduce power consumption.

I dunno, getting those last 30 ~ 50 Kh/s out of a card is a matter of patience.

*hubert farnsworth* Good news everyone!
My card has mysteriously decided to run at 576kh/s instead of 512kh/s
Didn't change anything... Just rebooted
Then i dropped the core clock by 50mh/z down to 1ghz and it runs at 570kh/s
I think i'll shave off 6kh/s for a reduction in voltage and core speed

Okay wtf, I just went to go check on my duo 6870 scrypt mining computer, And one of the 6870's has decided to Magically run 1/3rd the speed of the other one...
It was running at 292kh/s on both cards for atleast 48hrs, Now one of them is pissing around at 126kh/s and I can't figure out why
I do know that when I checked on the machine in the morning, all mining had stopped, but there were no clues as to why, the temperature sure didn't go too high
