The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic

I believe that a lot people, former enthusiast or a newbie, had realize more what is the essence of Bitcoin during this pandemic. Beside the features and sorts of that of Bitcoin, the important thing is it provided a job and some kind of hope to many individuals. Being quarantined at home for months had surely made people loss some of their savings as some became unemployed as well.

I think it s very important cashless transactions during this pandemic and BTC play a very good role in it.

What role?

Bitcoin stayed the same cryptocurrency we know for years despite the pandemic. Nothing really changed in this pandemic with Bitcoin, the price increases, that is the same in the past years. People are using it? I don't think so, I don't even think that this is a first choice of people when it comes to online payments since here in our country, only a handful of them are accepting it.

During this time that we are experiencing difficulties because of pandemic ,I can say that bitcoin is what we really need.Why?

I actually love bitcoin and I do support it, but I do not believe that bitcoin is what we really need in this times of pandemic.
But yes, it can help us somehow.

I do agree. Though there are fiat currencies that are also being used digitally. Like USD, we can use them to lessen the spread of the virus via those tangible moneys. And like on our country, some of companies here offers us digital wallets for us to be able to store, send, make payments, etc.. And as of now, they are also using it to distribute some money assistance for families that are affected by the pandemic.

I am not against bitcoin (remember that), but I do not agree that it is what we need right now. I am a fan of bitcoin since the day I understood how it works. I love it because it is one of the most convenient currency right now. We can use it for various things. We can make payments using it. Send money to someone. We can also even buy or sell it, that is what I love the most because this is profitable. Not just profitable but it could be the start (or maybe it was the start) of new era of currencies on our society.

Bitcoin may not be that usable for you or other people there but some people are actually getting something out of it. My cousin's been earning some small profit he's using to sustain the needs of his family since he's unemployed this pandemic. It isn't the transactions that only matters, it could also be other ways.

Bitcoin in the middle of this pandemic has helped me and my family because I have been able to receive an income throungt of it. Bitcoin is the King when it comes to an exchange of pair BTC / Fiat. It is the crypto with large volume. If technology business owners who do not yet know Bitcoin implemented it in their economies, they could keep their operations active and provide employment to people around the world.  I  think that we are the best promoters of Bitcoin because we know its potential first hand.

In our country, the unemployment rate of the employees right now rose to around 45% which is very unfortunate for those workers.

What's worse is that some of at least half of the people right now isn't ready for this pandemic. What I mean is they didn't have any savings since the start of the pandemic because of some reason (maybe they don't have enough money to save or they are just spending their salaries in some useless things). Some of them are begging in the streets already and some are just waiting for some aids to receive.

For those who have savings before the pandemic then at least they aren't affected that much compare to those who doesn't have any savings at all. Unfortunately not all of them knows Bitcoin or worse they don't know that a thing called Bitcoin is existing for a long time already.

Bitcoin as an online payment transaction, I think, has not really been realized at this time, because my country does not provide regulations as an online payment tool due to the fluctuating nature of bitcoin and is only used as a commodity subject that can be traded on the futures trading exchange.

problems from financial cannot be solve instantly with btc but people can invest on btc before the problem comes , it acts like a savings so that we can get a money  . its important to have a savings but i dont consider btc to be verry important because there are more important things during pandemic such as vaccines , medicines , etc . we can also save using fiats . bitcoin knowledge isnt necesary but people can learn it if they want to open new posibilities

I think I have to agree with this because I have somehow experienced this firsthand. I didn't exactly lose a job 'cause I didn't have one in the first place. But during those times when I was desperately looking for a source of income while staying at home, and after getting scammed twice, bitcoin became my salvation. I was able to earn the amount I was scammed with with the help of bitcoin.

My partner also have the same situation with me. And bitcoin helped him a lot especially during this trying time. He is able to support his siblings financially and his personal needs as well. That's why we really appreciate what bitcoin did to our lives and bitcoin itself.

In my view, digital currencies are useful, as you say, in the world they have them too, I mean like transacting online with digital fiat in every country or with PayPal. From what you have said, are the advantages of digital currency, and also making income from bitcoin is good to do but is not as easy as you think because the risk is too high too. The advantage of using bitcoin lies in its decentralization and other benefits such as peer-to-peer transactions. The benefits of bitcoin can depend from an asset point of view or a currency point of view.

It’s not an easy thing where I live because people are not used to all these technology ways of making payment, unless you’re buying stuffs online. Even online stores don’t accept Bitcoin, they accept your MasterCard card which is linked to your bank account as payment method and no other way. Then when you go to local stores to buy things you need you will have to be paying with cash, because none of those sellers are ready to wait for you while wasting their time with online payment, all they want is you giving them cash.

There are things I don’t buy online, which I have to purchase by going to one of these local stores, which means I still have to use cash. It’s really not easy where I live, I don’t know for other countries.
