ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300

maybe because of the influence of the coin itself, I mean the high price increase of Ethereum causes the gas costs to be expensive. actually I don't like this, because it can affect the interest of other investors as well mainly because of the problem of high shipping costs. maybe now people only invest in it but not the shipping cost. people started using LTC, DOGE at a low cost.

Gas fee is really driving me crazy now more than ever. I have lost a lot just because I tried to lower the gas fee because is too high for me. If things should continue this way, it might be very difficult for some of us to make transactions on Ethereum blockchain. I think it is better to use coins like tron  and doge for now.

Yes, best way to move funds around at the moment is through other coins; TRX, DOGE, XLM and LTC, pending the time gas fee on ETH is back to normal. I think for those forced to hold, it is paying off because of the surge in market price.

If this increase continues like this I fear that ethereum will eventually fall back down, we are talking about people not wanting to use ethereum anymore for transactions, which means there are so many stuff like dapps that uses it, and other stuff like some defi projects and whatever else that uses ethereum blockchain, will move towards some other blockchain that would be faster and cheaper because they know that if they continue with ethereum people will stop investing into them.

Hence why I think it is quite important that ethereum has to figure out a way to drop the fee's, if they fail that would be another big fall for ethereum that makes it harder to climb back up. Remember times when ethereum were 80 dollars just a year ago? We could get that back if they don't fix it.

am telling you the gas fee is very high, someone with little token that intend to sell cannot sell due to the high gas price, and this might lead to pump of other coin as you have said, want to trade a coin in bitforex yesterday, after finish trading check withdrawal fee of etherum its killing, dont have anyother option than to convert my coin to trx due to the withdrawal fee, leave their ethereum on exchange there.

you can imagine everybody is doing that, there demand will be decrease in demand and hereby lead to fall, and rise in other altcoin.

The gas price is gradually coming down. I already envisaged it that it won't be long before we will see everything normalized. My fear is just that it might happen again and if it does, it might be worse than the former. Although, there are lots of parties who would prevent it from happening. Only miners are benefiting from it.

well of course that much gas costs will provide a very high speed but I am sure when you make a transaction I don't think it needs to be too fast, the important thing is that you can enter the address that is designated properly and correctly, because if you spend Ethereum costs only in fees shipping it will make us lose.

Ethereum is the most popular smart blockchain but for this transaction cost, users couldn't use this platform. New projects must be interested in using a low fee platform

payments for bounty campaign participants will usually use tokens that are developed because when using tokens it will provide price movements on the platform and can provide very good volume for the development of the platform.

It is because DeFi hype, the Ethereum network have congestion now. Many projects start to using ETH token as their fuel, like DAI stable token.
I think the developer should find a way to reduce network congestion because people become afraid of fee to transfer their token.

you are right.. its like we are in 2017-2018.. is this a sign of a bullish market? I think the reason why ethereum gas is so high because of this defi coins.
but i am hoping for a bullish market soon

Not surprising for me due to the obvious reasons, the main crypto payment method for faster transactions is usually ETH. Now the Gas fees(etherscan.io/gastracker) are around 120 gwei and this number plays around 70-140 during a day depending on the size of pending transactions. I don't agree about alt season, the situation is now worse than 3 years ago, too early to talk about the alt season just because of the increasing Gas fees.

Fees are so high because of extensive demand for transactions on Ethereum. It's alt season, and users are rushing to put capital into the tokens and protocols that they expect to give the most return.

Yes, I am also stuck in the blockchain of Ethereum right now. I only transferred 0.17 ETH but I had to wait more than 3 days.
But I think differently from you. I think they need to re-test their network so everything is stable and then they will public Ethereum 2.0 perfectly. So we can use Doge or XRP for now, stop trading on ETH on the ERC platform, it just takes more of our time.

i know its sound crazy but its really happend to ETH when i try to send my 0.01 eth to gambling website, im getting shock when see the ethereum gas price is about hitting 300 , currently if you want to get confirmed faster with ETH chain, you need to use 275 GWEI for your transactions is getting confirmated in 2 minute, tell me what are you gonna do with your ETH if you hold some, are you gonna sell and move to other altcoin like in 2017 when smartcontract are very popular with the kitty on ethereum chain?.

Indeed a few days ago Ethereum gas costs were very high. Most of the people choose to stay silent without any transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. But Gas costs always change every day, maybe at this time the Gas cost is 78 gwei.

ETH transaction lately is really hurts as we can't transfer from imtoken or trust wallet to exchange without having to pay hugely and also teasing on uniswap is now tough because of ETH teasing fees. Please ETH CEO should look into this and resolve the issue as it's serious. I was highly charged yesterday I wanted to trade on uniswap which I ended up missing the coin because of transaction fee.

This is the downside of Ethereum network crazy gas prices and sometime a long que to get tx verified , Its too expensive for micro transactions. There are alternatives but I hope Vitalik and team would come up with an idea to control this ridiculous gas prices.

3 days? Wow, never thought that ETH network will be clogged this much. Obviously, this is similar to what Bitcoin experience before, and it could become worst as the price continue to make a massive run. We haven't touch $500, but as soon as it gets there, experience more more congestion and increasing gas fees.

Let's hope that the ETH team have seen this or at least we need more miners to help ease the network traffic. Or shift your coins from ETH => x coins that is a bit faster now.

The gas price changes depending on whether the network is congested or not and also depending on the current market price. That is why last 2017, whenever I need to transfer the money I use other altcoins to lessen the fees that I had to pay. There are instances that I need emergency money and my transaction was on hold for a day or two. This is one of the main problems of the ETH network which I think has to be solved.
