Good day!
We continue interviews with projects on our forum!

Rates.Guru

1. When did you start KursExpert?

There are two services:

Kurs.Expert with russian, ukarainian, belarusian languages - (topic in russian local).
and Rates.Guru - english version (eng topic).

Both services started december 2014

2. What prompted you to create the project?

The founders of the projects worked in the exchange business long before the appearance of Bitcoin, but decided to slightly change the direction from the exchange to information services.

3. How Many people work in your team?

Constantly 10 people work. These are programmers, customer support, PR, copywriters.
We also attract freelancers and partners.

4. How do you assess your position in the market and how do you differ from your competitors?

Among services of monitoring exchangers I think our service is in second place in terms of traffic and 100% in first place in terms of functions.

To fully describe the differences from other similar services I need several pages.

Therefore, I describe only main advantages:

5. To your FAO, much has been written about the "thoroughly test".
Tell us more about how this happens?
How do you check the ballance of the partners(cash and and money on bank accounts)?

Before being included in the rating, the exchanger is subjected to very thorough testing on more than 30 parameters. We are researching reviews about the site, the reputation of the owners, making real test exchanges and doing many other tests. I can not describe the full testing procedure as this may be of interest to scammers.

6. What measures do you take to the exchange partner if he has not paid the money to the client?

First, our moderators delve into the essence of the problem. Often problems arise on the side of payment systems or banks. For example, loading of a mempool and long transactions of Bitcoin. Many people still do not understand what Bitcoin transaction is and why it can go for a long time. If the problem is on the side of the exchanger, such a site is turned off from the active rating.

Next, we monitor the situation, leave feedback on the current situation with exchanger on the forums. We can also transfer the exchanger to the black list. For the exchanger this is very bad, because search engines quickly pick up new information from our website and information about fraud by the exchanger appears in the search results. This spoils the reputation of an unscrupulous exchanger.

Other methods are also used.

7. How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your business?

Unfortunately, the pandemic affected almost all sectors. There are two grave changes. Many people have lost offline work and are going online, i.e. there are more freelancers, so for the countries of the former Soviet Union there is a slight increase in the need to withdraw electronic currencies such as webmoney, Yandex, paypal. On the other hand, we are seeing a significant decrease in investor activity in cryptocurrency projects.

8. Can you tell the volume of trading operations per month of all your exchange partners?

Presumably these are hundreds of millions of dollars.

9. What is your opinion on the draft Russian law "On digital financial assets"?

I would characterize this law as harmful.

We welcome attempts by any government to include cryptocurrency, tokens, ico in the legal framework, but not in this way. First, this law explicitly prohibits the acceptance of cryptocurrencies. If you have a small cafe and you could previously accept payments at the BTC, this will become illegal. Secondly, after the adoption of this law, all exchangers in Russia will also become outlawed. It is not completely clear how this will affect cryptocurrency exchanges, which do not legally belong to the Russian Federation. It seems that this law is only the basis for subsequent regulatory acts.

10. Do you have cryptocurrency licenses? Do you plan to receive them?

Our service is the presentation of information about rates on trading platforms and we do not directly provide exchange, so we do not need a license.

11. What innovations await your customers in the coming year?

I cannot disclose this information. Updates are ongoing. Follow the news on our service.

12. Do you plan a Signature Campaign on the bitcointalk?

We will consider this possibility soon.

13. Why should we choose your service?

Our service is very different from competitors in terms of features. With the help of our website before exchanging you can quickly assess the reputation of the exchanger in terms of reliability, quality of support, and exchange speed. With us you can not only find the best rate in the largest database of exchangers, but also get additional cashback from the exchange. And of course these are not all the benefits. I would like to highlight our browser extensions, which help to find the best rate without visiting our website. But most importantly, with these extensions, you can receive cashback from the exchange. Also we have partner program.

14. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?

Bitcoin.Monero looks good. But this is a subjective opinion.

15. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?

Halving will certainly affect the bitcoin rate for the better, but not immediately. The external economic situation in the world in connection with the pandemic will also play a large role - now it is a decisive factor in investor sentiment. If we talk about the end of this year, then we believe it will be about $ 15k.

*****************************************************************************

We would like to thank all our clients and partners who work with us. Who has not tried to use our service yet - invite you to cooperation.

Thanks to zasad@ for the interview.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

This is nice to read and know as well as hearing from the horse’s mouth directly about the project and their journey so far. This is a good initiate zasad@ as it is always good to know such details and efforts that goes behind anything that is successful. Also, thanks KursExpert for sharing your worthy insights about it and till now was unaware about any such projects. This is now bookmarked as well.
