Im planning to invest in Ethereum. Is this a good plan?

Actually Ethereum has proven its capacity to Move up recently and this is the proof how Good this currency is though in past this has been labeled as Shitcoin.
Now with almost $400 in price?what else can you ask when just few months ago this struggles to even reach $150.
I bought some Ethereum at 200$ but i still believe that there is another Bull coming then i will wait for 3 digits value before considering selling all.
Though almost $1,500 is the highest price from early 2018.

Most people and users on this and similar threads simply tell people to buy, buy and then buy some more. This is poor advice in my opinion. Better advice would be to time the market and make a killing in stead of just holding. The market goes up and down, take advantage of that.

True, but have you actually thought how many people are actually able to pull off something like that? Because it is very easy to say that if you trade the markets then you can earn a lot of money, but that is just so hard that very few people can do it and in that case it is better that you start your journey in this market as a long term investor and only once you have demonstrated that you can obtain profits you could try trading try to maximize your earnings in this market.

I predict there will be a return delay, see how DEFI is running in etherum very rapidly making gas costs very high and now the ones who enjoy the benefits are pool service providers with quite large fees, but investing in ETH is the best asset after BTC

But for last years it become very popular and i'm personally see no reason for serious price drops. So you will keep your funds safe and probably get profit. How much? Depends on situation. Ethereum is a unstable currency with bitcoin too. If you have less idea about crypto then you should learn first because if you want to do research on a project then your knowledge will be evaluated more. With a little experience you can buy and hold high level currencies where your profits will be at stake.
