Definetely it is. Ethereum is the biggest major altcoin. if i were the one that just started to invest in cryptocurrencies, i would definetely pick bitcoin + ethereum first with 75% of my money. And i would divide the rest with more risky altcoins.

However if a place like binance ends up making a pool for staking ETH where you could have even just 0.5 ETH and still get involved with a pool and get staking rewards, that could really increase the demand for ethereum ownership. If there is an increase in ethereum ownership that demand will make the price go up as well. I don't know if it will be available right away but I am sure they would work on something like that.
