Coinmarketcap's New Feature "Earn"

How many of you have earned $10 worth of tokens?

I heard that the participants received 0.067 BAND which is less than a dollar worth of token because of the huge participation, but still it's a good way to payback to the community and It's surely similar to coinbase intiative where you can earn by learning through watching and reading something about the crypto. And I think Blockfolio the cryptotracker app will be doing the same thing because it has been acquired by cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTXt , but who knows.

That's another great news if another known team will also offered same thing, it will be beneficial for those people who loves learning things about crypto then received some good amount of tokens where they can keep or they exchange it for some real value to fiat.

It's good way of attracting people as you can get something out from your interest  with the project that being offered.

Having participated in various bounty campaigns and airdrops for the last three years, I knew what to expect. If they claim that the rewards are worth some $10, then the actual worth would be somewhere between 1/10th to 1/20th of that figure. And such micro-rewards are not spendable, because the deposit/withdrawal fee in exchanges can be more than this amount.

May be it pays little like airdrop but this is new from where one can earn a little. It is not like a faucet, rather it is like airdrop. I haven't joined any offer yet but i welcome it for the new innovation which will sure increase the attraction of many new traffic to this site.

Hi guys, as someone who usual surf on price trackers like coinmarketcap.com. I've noticed their new feature that popped, the coinmarketcap earn.(https://www.coinmarketcap.com/earn/)
Despite being new, they already have their first earn crypto which is band. The feature is the same as the coinbase earn. In the near future, I think they'll add more on it.



PS: I'm not from Band or CMC, I just shared it as soon as I've seen it.

I think this is one of the good things now to catch everyone here in this field of business I guess.
This differs from coinbase and they're not requiring anyone to submit KYC as what coinbase required.
So, I joined with it honestly speaking, and waiting for their latest update as well.

The earn feature on coin market cap was included to give users an opportunity to learn more about cryptocurrency and some lucky users are rewarded for participating in the exercise. The opportunity was created after binance bought coin market cap and they've also used it as a marketing tool for the exchange. I commend binance for this great service as some persons would join the cryptocurrency industry because of that opportunity.

Well, that's why I rather join in airdrop promise the actual amount of their coin instead of some 'up to xxUSD' bullshjt. Cause I know the real reward will not as the same as they promised. It usually is much lower and what a shame to see CMC allow coin trying this trick on CMC's platform. The earn feature on CMC somehow doesn't have the same prestige as the site.

Basically this is good move by Coinmarketcap. cmc is best popular website for coins details. now they add new feature it will allow people to start to find out more about the projects,they want to invest and earn.so it's a great step form team.but earning way few winner people can get that reward,not for everyone.

I see, coinmarketcap is really having good features now and I would say there is bit competition between coinmarketcap and coingecko. A friend once told me about a feature from coingecko that coinmarketcap adapted and I know as coinmarketcap has its own unique feature, coingecko would go for another unique one. but I really do admire the competition anyways, it shows both team are really doing well.

Coinmarketcap and Coingecko don't need to trying to top other one since both site have their own use, earn feature, or not. After the result of the coin having a promotion with earn feature on CMC, I can't say I'm impressed with this feature at all.

Why do you have to imagine? The earn feature is already on CoinMarketCap, not a feature for training on how to earn money in crypto but a feature for getting coins that are doing promotions on CoinMarketCap.

Many exchanges do something similar where they award people for completing crypto courses. It's a great way to spread knmowledge and award people for taking time to learn.

The more educated people are in this space the less FUD and volatility caused by FUD we'll experience.

Coinmarketcaps this new feature will definitely increase their popularity because people can earn free crypto by completing quiz. It will make people more interested on crypto. And it is a good step by binance.

This is the first time coinmarketcap is running such a quiz competition. Just give them time and they might be on the same level as coinbase.
Besides, on coinmarketcap you participate in "earn" immediately, while on coinbase you first need to join waiting list and wait for being accepted. I've been in XLM, EOS, DAI and other altcoins waiting list probably for a year. Also, on coinbase you need to pass verification to be able to earn, while for coinmarketcap earn program you can just create an account on Binance.

coinmarketcap can see some of the features that the market likes. and they can build on what already exists as a better offer to get high demand. but for a coinmarketcap level platform, it won't be difficult.

This feature will make Coinmarketcap have high traffic,
CZ has a good strategy to improve the progress of Coinmarketcap, of course I am amazed by it

I like this new feature of earning band coin embarked by both binance and coinmarketcap I believed this is geared towards helping newbies to learn how to transact cryptos as in sending, buying and exchanging of coin between wallets, such move will give a chance to any newbie to practically transact band coin instead of the usual way of just reading articles and comments on how to do all these things, this singular act embarked both by binance and CMC will encourage more participation and adoption of cryptocurrencies by many people.
