South Korea and Australia has been bitcoin friendly since 2017, so there are no surprise here that they are moving and adopting blockchain to be integrated in their systems.

It's a great news for the bitcoin users of S. Korea. They will definitely love to use and pay bills with BTC. But it will not good if the fee of transaction cross the limits because we all know how high is the transaction fee now a days. Overall everything looking nice. Though I am not a person from those 2 countries but still feeling crazy for that crypto success. Hope one day my country will also adapt bitcoin and cryptocurrency like this.

Yes by giving more license on exchanges basig o their country. yes, austrilian government had some positive accepted cryptocurrency. But we could also not deny that other country as well accepted bitcoin and even I have seen some threads here claiming that bitcoin is being legalized in their place (India). Other country like Philippines, Japan and Korea were also interested about cryptocurrency. It is good to embrace cryptocurrency but the problem is that people or the community needs to be educated first before they can safely make it with cryptocurrency. I think cryptocurrency should be introduce to the community litlle by little. In this way it can be effective and cryptocurrency could have higher chancess it could be adapted for the community. For now, we will just going to wait and see on which country would do the same for cryptocurrency specifically with bitcoin. I just can't wait for it to happen because we are here already being ahead of them a little would be at great advantage.

has not South Korea been supporting bitcoin since several years ago? maybe this is a new breakthrough for South Korea and Australia because this will be one of the motivations for many countries to be able to join in advancing crypto like them

Well according to your Op, there is adoption of blockchain but you don't mention anything about bitcoin. You have to understand something, blockchain technology is here to stay, but keep in mind that the fight is because the free and unrestricted use of bitcoin is allowed. I want to be in control.
For governments to adopt blockchain technology is fine, but they do not leave me out of my right to choose which technology to use. That is the bottom line. What we have to understand beyond bitcoin to the moon, adoption, speed of transactions, scalability and I could name more ... no matter what happens in which country, if they always allow me to have control of my assets and decide on My privacy.
This news is already commented, by another user, of course another context, but if you have a new update it is good to place your reference, because I did not find anything new at least in August in some important web portal.

You mistyped BTC into BYC. News about Australia accepting payments in bitcoin like its airport on Brisbane has been one of the biggest news ever as the first-ever, two years ago. Australian airport becomes the first to accept Bitcoin

Why your title is about South Korea and Australia being Bitcoin friendly, but you are writing about ETH based licenses? Can you distinguish Bitcoin from Ethereum? South Korea is one of the most Bitcoin/Crypto friendly countries in the world, while I'm not sure about Australia being that much Bitcoin/Crypto friendly. Anyway,I appreciate any effort into implementing blockchain technology and crypto payments in any country around the world.

I have always seen South Korea is really advancing with their BTC implementation and approvals. But have less information on Australia's progress with Bitcoin. Since this is the only news I have read so far. Honestly, this is one of the good news that you don't see every day in Bitcoin news. I wonder what Japan and Singapore think about this idea. Anyway, let's just wait for another country to make their decision regarding implementation of Bitcoin in their country, I think this will not be the last time we see such news.

I heard that South Korea has too high fees on crypto.
Fees never depend on any country. It depends on bitcoin network itself. If there are a lot of tx happening each day, the fee will be increased. Can you share more details on which fees you are talking about?

Can you share more details on which fees you are talking about? He is probably talking about a 20% tax that will be imposed on South Korean exchanges from October 2021 for profitable trades over $2000. This tax will be collected right when traders take profits. sourceThe law applies to foreigners trading in Korean exchanges as well and I think it may apply to Koreans trading on foreign exchanges (although I might be wrong on the last part).

The conversion sometimes also depends on the website or app. In my country there is a popular mobile wallet that when you convert in their wallet version differs in when we use their exchange website from that same wallet. I think its a deposit or withdrawal fee as the price differs only in the wallet. It will depend if Korea also have such app or alike.

Now, I looking forward to seeing other countries (ASIAN countries)will open up their minds and see the importance of Bitcoin, especially in the situation today. I know these countries soon to give away for crypto adoption and have supported. In fact, this could be actually a good step for a comfortable way during the pandemic and this development will make it help to slowly recover their economic losses. We all see's that Bitcoin adoption is increasing and it is quite to know also that people are so happy with this new technology as they could still make a living out from it.
But what I would like to see is how strong they are with this project. And how their people appreciated and used it as another form of payment or just an investment only.

I think this is another year with the number of people making an investment with the use of the cryptocurrency because they know now already and spreading the news with the support of the bitcoin we all know that those countries are a friendly adopts the use of the digital currency. Still, we are heading toward the other countries that will make move too right now with the use of the bitcoin. Even this takes a lot of time still we are wanting to make innovation and process with the use of the bitcoin.
Right now one of the best things and kind of payment is the online transaction in which bitcoin is on the scope with this kind of transaction but the problem is only a few businesses support this kind of transaction but still what if sooner or later there is some improvement.

The news regarding to this two countries will attract more people who are not that much familiar about crypto not just bitcoin but the entire market itself. Giving positive news like this will attract more readers and more interest out from people who are trying to navigate in exploring crypto industries.

This is good that some countries are very proactive and setting up the things for their citizens who can make best use of this digital currency and gives them a chance to makes money through the revenues of taxes etc. Hope some other countries also make the bitcoin as legal in their countries and boost the crypto in coming years.

These two countries are known to be active crypto community. Unlike Russia who are immensely against crypto, they are supporting and embracing digital industry, Im not sure but other countries are probably extending their support to crypto ans blockchain products. Even the China who are reluctantly banning crypto before now have their own digital asset and integrating top crypto coins. Was not sure why bitcoin is not included?
Good news to hear that two top countries are constantly getting involved. I can predict more progress as time pass by.

It will not take long to see more countries will also adopt BTC and ETH for it really can thrive even in this covid crisis. A developed countries like South Korea and Australia can easily adopt cryptocurrency, it must be easy for other countries as well. All other countries I think will have no option but to also adopt because we all need secure transactions.

It's not just South Korea and Australia there are many other countries which have integrated Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies in their economics and it's as normal as using a master card. With the new Advent of crypto cards soon being in circulation in Europe I do believe there will be other countries willing to jump in the race too . Here is the list of countries that I found online where Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies are highly valued: Malta Bermuda Switzerland Japan Gibraltar Slovenia Singapore Estonia Georgia Belarus Hong Kong (it's system is separate from China , thus can be classified differently) Germany https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-friendly-countries/Honestly these are the countries which have already won the race of being years ahead of other countries.
