The emergence of decentralized finance (DeFi) has now given us open and permissionless solutions in financial services and an explosion in derivative offerings and synthetic asset exchanges. As investors who have a passion for trading, our vision for a synthetic exchange is one where we can invest/exit exposures to any asset class without settlement delays and friction. Yet, as we were trading on the existing synthetic exchanges, we found them to be slow, incredibly difficult to use, saddled with high transaction costs, and simply unappealing to trade on. This is why we set out to create the best synthetic asset exchange.

Today we proudly announce Linear Finance, a cross-chain compatible, decentralized delta-one asset protocol to create, trade, and manage synthetic assets (Liquids). Linear Finance is a faster, cheaper, safer, and easier to use alternative compared to other synthetic asset protocols, coupled with access to a wealth of creative investment assets.

Linear Finance’s protocol will be supported by our native ERC-20 Linear Token (LINA) which serves the purpose of staking in our collateral pool, liquidity mining, governance and investing in synthetic “Liquids” on investment assets with infinite liquidity and no slippage.

Well, I'm not against the development actually. We want new things that makes more sense. I don't really see much improvement or characteristics so different from those in existence before.  Just hearing about Li anyway, may be as times go on, there could be better awareness about it.

If it is a well thought out project then definitely community should welcome it because we definitely competition for this niche as the projects and their value is flying. I hope linear finance will be legit and not just diving in to take advantage of the DeFi trend.

I think its not good to judge easily a project. Ive visited the telegram and looks like they are a decent team. But of course due diligence for every interested crypto users. I know that defi is hype but some concept are real like proxi defi which is supported by credits and tron blockchain.

I Google it I don't find any announcement thread they created for this project . If his one of the representative of that project I think its better to move this thread to announcement  section its fit to be there, or of they can they can make separate announcement thread and make this thread focus on update if they want to also have thread in this section.

What new things does Linear Finance bring for us will not be new because there are lots of Defi already here. LINA ticker by the way is alreay taken which is here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lina/  you'd get people confuse and buy that token instead of yours. The reminder that Defi will be used by scammers soon will seem to come sooner than we thought.

You may wrong about this but the correct thing should be it sounds like a new defi project that wants to follow the hype that is happening right now.

IMO if the idea looks so difficult to be implemented but this is will become another new exchange site as stated on its site.

I suggest you take a look at the site too and try to learn more about that before trying to determine if that was a scam project or not.

While I'm scrolling the website, I find it confusing as the design isn't that good for me. Look at your website and see what I'm saying about the scroll.
The motion of downwards of your products doesn't seem to be appropriate as you scroll.

Looking at the project can't really say I see anything that would separate it from the current platforms will already have in the space. I want to know if you guys have any MVP, this is very important now in the space if you want people to take you serious and also how much funding has your team received from private investors.
