It's an easy way to make money if someone trades based on different event I think. But when I got the news, I can not entry at early point. So, which site do you use to get event update of different projects? Is there any app which can notify you before 15 days of an event? I would like to get all the possible ways to get such event update. Please share which one do you use.

I think Coinmarketcal is one of the websites for such purpose, but not sure if it's still the market leader. I've been out of the loop for a long time and instead of chasing news of different coins, I just stick with ones that I believe have great fundamentals.

https://cointelegraph.com/press-releases

That website is getting the most recent projects so if you want to follow them, most of those new projects or events are likely to publish it to sites like Cointelegraph for its press release.

I usually used https://cryptopanic.com/ for any crypto news or big event. The website gather all news in different crypto news platform like cointelegraph, coindesk and other news site. They also includes some Technical Analysis from expert so there website is very useful to me especially in my trading because I can easily get a lead to any upcoming major events in crypto compared when you visit on single news site as reference, They can't cover all the news happening in crypto space.

But if you are a day trader maybe you should subscribe on @whalebotalerts on telegram(https://t.me/whalebotalerts). The bots post any big amount of token movement from wallet or exchange. They also post new listing on exchange so they are perfect for user that doing day trading because you can ride the wave if ever you early notice the bot notification.

I hope that it helps! Smiley

Nah the bots or this service was shit, they just put a random transaction without knowing the fund from where. One of the example, the bot reacted to a transaction from bittrex send their asset to the coldwallets. Imagine, using this service for taking some news everyone just can be panicked because the bot share some post about these when the post was not really important.

To the @OP just search on google about "cryptocurrency event/calender" there will be have some website on the top list who give information about some event/news from the project could be listing exchange, development news, mainnet or other things.

I know many don't trust icodrops and icobench anymore but I still use these websites just to know about any upcoming projects, I don't trust the ratings from these websites and just do research on the upcoming projects to see the one that have good taste

The two sites I visit every few minutes for update are bitcointalk forum and coinmarketcap. Though both of them are not actually a news sites, bitcointalk do have good discussion, mostly outdated but they give a bigger picture. On the other hand I check CMC for prices but going into a currency's social section, I visit their social section and go to twitter or reddit if I found and useful content. Reddit generally has quicker updates on things.

Same here mate . Bitcointalk forum  pages itself is having huge no.of projects coming up day by day. Some are hits but some are scams . Choose your projects wisely by doing due diligence if possible .

I have found some cryptocurrency news platforms when I was still wandering in the ecosystem seeking for knowledge about bitcoin and all of other altcoins. I came across series of news platform don't known if they still updating their news activities. Here are some of them if i can still recall. Those are coindesk, null tx, cointelegraph, the merkle, and many others. This probably would help op.
[1]. https://www.coindesk.com/
[2]. https://cointelegraph.com/
[3]. https://www.ccn.com/
[4]. https://nulltx.com/

You can check on search engines like google for more especially the latest functioning ones.

That's the essence of swing trading/day trading. Flipping whenever there is a signal. There's a 50.5k subscriber on that whalebot and it is some kind of self fulfilling prophecy. The tendency of dumping/pumping once they see big transaction signal is high. I highly recommend using it for short trading and not for long term trading. And also the bot is just mentioning huge amount including what you mention. It's up to the trader to interpret and that's not the bot fault.

The most site that provides updates about projects does not have features that make you get a notification anytime a new project shows up so you will need to be checking manually just like the old days when bounty hunting is still lucrative and profitable, bounty section used to be most viewed. While many ICO project site has lost their integrity, Cointelegraph has a press release link that gives an update about new and existing project. you can also subscribe to their digest https://cointelegraph.com/press-releases

I do not follow any specific website but different sections in this forum help me stay updated.
Also i get to read random crypto news and events published on crypto media. And also i use to browse my twitter daily which is full of crypto related updates and events and i do not need to surf anywhere else for my crypto dose.

Of course btt, but all the crypto news are posted first on sites like cointelegraph for example, before users update users on the forum about it, and op is looking for news, events and updates to trade on and timing is very important. If op waits to get news about events on the forum, it will be late to trade based on the event.

Op I use cointelegraph and some of the other sites mentioned above already, you should be careful if you're going to trade on events posted on these sites, they are false sometimes and can be overhyped as well, which can forlead you.

Announcement section is the place you need to watch if you are interested in knowing every projects and their upcoming events, I don't think famoust crypto websites are not going to report each and every shitcoin's event maybe via coinmarketcap is possible but also not every project is going to meet the criteria of coinmarketcap.

I do sometimes make use of cointelegraph, coindesk etc to read crypto news. Sometimes i check coinmarketcap and coingecko for stats or overview about a project and follow a few people who do post valuable stuff in their social media accounts.

I think Twitter is a quick source and means of information after telegram, all you have to do is follow all projects you have invested in and set alerts for their tweets, while also joining their telegram channels with alerts on.

It helps you to get first hand information about the project, if you are the type that likes gist and rumors news, you can join normal crypto channels on telegram and also follow them on Twitter

We're talking about the news topic, not a trading strategy.

Using whalebot was a ridiculously option, there will be always a high transaction but you are still doesn't know for what's that transaction. That's why not really recommended seeing this kind of bot for price action enter/out, talking about 50.5k subscriber? then not really surprise why we have around 90% of trader always lose the trade when they really panic just because see a move transaction.

If Im not mistaken  blockfolio have this option which you can see  latest news update of every project . no idea if you need to add the currency first  in your portfolio before you can see the updates but its working for me before.
You will also be notify if there are latest news they give in that application other than tracking your currency.

If you are talking about price rise and fall notifications then go to playstore and download blockfolio app, for whichever token or coin you monitoring through blockfolio you will get constant news about the tokens
