cryptocurrency being made to restore the financial institutions for easy, fast, low cost and reliable transactions. The implementation of crypto enabled debit cards is like a major step which allows cryptocurrency to be exchanged and traded for fiat currencies The link below explain gives an overview of some cards https://medium.com/visionaire/the-best-bitcoin-and-crypto-debit-cards-4098b48e6ddbread through and drop some comments about your pick and your reason for your choice Thanks for an interesting article about the topic. Monaco sounds good because of being a Visa card and thus usable in any store, but I don't think it's available in my country. Zero monthly fees is nice, but I wonder how much the company takes on the conversion rate. If it's up to 5%, I'd go for it, but it's probably more, so I wouldn't. Cryptopay is also attractive with a low conversion rate. Others are right that the article would be more useful if it mentioned all the fees and any additional disadvantages of the cards.

The only cryptocurrency card I have ever used is the MasterCard card that is being issued by BitPay. It’s really cool and I still have mine till now and I’m using it. I have heard about other cards as well, like the Wirex card, I have seen people talk about it a few times, although when I downloaded the Wirex app I think it’s something different, it’s kind of like a bank that functions digitally, but you can still send and receive cryptocurrency with it.
As for BitPay card, I am able to load it any time and use it to withdraw or make purchase, and when I use it in some stores, some people always asks what card it is.
i heard bitpay before and i heard it again on my friend recently that he was using it and your here too . i wouldnt thought that bitpay would become popular . that means the card company is good compare to others but i dont know why i still not consider trying it . it could be because im happy transacting the old way using an online wallet . im also hesitant that my place are not into crypto payments yet . thats why i always prefer fiat conversion

There are very few debit card startups who are actually working, there have been tons and tons of projects trying to do exactly this. Most of them failed casue of different reasons, some where scams others where rejected by VISA network. Also all the debit card who work with crypto are subject to heavy AML regualtions which can be irratating.
Scams are very vulnerable in these kind of projects that they are planning to make when it is related to money, specifically cryptocurrencies. Heavy AML regulations are irritating but it can somehow lessen the presence of criminals who are just benefiting other people's money. Just think about AML as a positive thing and don't get irritated or annoyed to it. Regulations are really necessary when there's a money involved. Hopefully, more debit card startups should function properly and help other people who prefers crypto cards.

I don't have any of crypto cards and haven't use it yet but I got an idea on how it works.
When we use crypto cards to pay for our bills, we don't really spend our cryptocurrency for the service or the product, instead we are selling our cryptocurrency on the company that we got it from like VISA, and the selling price is real time or maybe they have their own pricing each time. So we our crypto cards are just more of a fiat reserve and we do not spend our cryptocurrency directly. I haven't heard of this in my country, but once I get a chance to experience I'm more than willing to have it.

I'm not sure how all the others work, but Wirex one at least used to let you spend bitcoin directly buy maybe regulations have changed that now.
You have to exchange to USD or EUR, and there is also an extra step of choosing how much you want to have on your card, just exchanging doesn't automatically put the fiat on your card balance. The rate is 11611$ right now, Bitstaps is at 11757 and add another 1% fee, it starts piling up. Yeah, I haven't used it in years but it wasn't worth it back then with all the fees. There's much better cards available now anyway. I think not being able to spend crypto directly is some regulatory thing. There are very few debit card startups who are actually working, there have been tons and tons of projects trying to do exactly this. Most of them failed casue of different reasons, some where scams others where rejected by VISA network. Also all the debit card who work with crypto are subject to heavy AML regualtions which can be irratating.
Maybe this was true in the past, but there are quite a few cards now and VISA is happily working with many companies with no problems. As for AML, well that's just something people are going to have to do if they want to use these sorts of services. cryptocurrency being made to restore the financial institutions for easy, fast, low cost and reliable transactions. Monaco is now crypto.com. If you top up your card with crypto their is the fees associated with selling the coins, but otherwise topping up your card with fiat is free and instant.

I have not used any cryptocurrency debit cards before, I don’t think I’m really in need of any of them. Although the first time I came across the Wirex app on app store I was quite interested in making use of their application because of it has a nice interface, so I installed the application, but at the end I didn’t make use of it because the process that’s involved in it is a lot; you will have to verify your identity by making use of your national identity card, your phone number and other information, which I don’t want to give out to them, so I had uninstall the application at last. Then I also have the BitPay crypto wallet and I have been making use of it for long, but I’ve never been interested in requesting for a card.

Apart from crypto cards been the easy way of executing transactions, I see the enablement of crypto cards in the society as a means to further increase the massive adoption globally. Crypto can be used easily by people who don't get to withdraw the currency and convert to fiat before spending, the only challenge is the volatility of the market.

with this crypto card it will make it easier to use crypto for useful things. we do not have to make transactions via the internet to use it. This step is a new breakthrough, and maybe a cryptocard like Visa, mastercard or amex can be used to transact globally
Debit, payment cards using cryptocurrency have just begun to develop and are quite promising for use. Earlier, for some time, I used the Veb-money wallet, in which you can put bitcoin and use it to make purchases or convert into national or other currencies. True, it is impossible to withdraw bitcoin from this wallet later: the amount in bitcoin is immediately withdrawn to a wallet that is not under our control, and only the equivalent of this amount remains on our wallet, which can be used at any time at the price of bitcoin at the time of purchase. Overall, it was good and the commissions were moderate. Thus, we can pay with Bitcoin at any point of sale, even if they do not accept cryptocurrency.

BTCBTC Swipe Wallet($SXP) is the most promising crypto debit card since it was a DeFi and offers almost same benefits. Monaco (Crypto.com) has a bad history before that's why they rebrand to $CRO from $MCO to erase there past. Although bought of them is showing a good progress right now, Still Swipe has the upper hand because it is a decentralized and many big company are in partnership with them.

What part of it is decentralized? They use VISA cards if VISA doesn't like them it's goodbye and your cards are useless, also their cards are issued by Contis, they can also shut down everything when they want. Decentralization? Have you read the terms? For high volume or abnormal transactions, market interruption and other conditions that are caused by system failure, network failure, distributed denial-of-service (DDos) and other hacker attacks and other unexpected factors, Swipe reserves the right to cancel the abnormal transaction results, and rollback all the transactions of a certain period of time. Registration (also known as “Know your customer” or “KYC”) is a mandatory step for every user due to the Anti money laundering rules that Swipe must follow. Where is the decentralization in this? As for DeFi, lol, is there somebody who still believes in that garbage?
