The trend has now shifted to Defi. All shit projects now add Defi to their name just to seek attention from investors but the truth is, only few will survive. While some has performed awesomely like Link as an oracle, some decentralised exchange tokens like KNC, Band and BNT are the only Defi that deserve some accolades. The rest is pump and dump.

Recently failed were Yam and Spaghetti project, I weap for some investors for not doing proper research as this project were not properly audited.

Just ignore those projects because they won't be lasting long in the trend. If they keep on making the same projects that don't do anything but to ask money from their investors, suddenly they'll die and will be forgotten.

Take the example of those past projects and as you know them, they were forgotten already. Only the good to best projects were being remembered and still alive from this time. But if the same projects are existing, most investors will learn from those projects who seem to fail because of no development.

Then, stop it investing in shitcoin when you don't really ready to lose all of your money. Almost, every people on cryptocurrency space called coins except bitcoin will be always shitcoin. If your self cannot see the future of the project you are enter and doesn't know the reason why you are holding that's coin. That's mean you are not ready to do investment and trading on some asset.

Despite many projects failing and some even turning into scams, there are still plenty that has useful use cases. Also, the development of the technology is giving widespread and mainstream awareness to many people and government that there are slowly adopting it. I think crypto has a great future ahead.

Most projects have no prospect. There are 10000 coins or 10000 projects. Most of them have no use case and no development. For few only use case is that those few developers or whatever they do. Promoters. Get salary.

Coins that have use case and will be used 10 years from now have tons of projects and developed working on them. One is Triptych. It will hopefully be developed this and next year. Crypto is an unregulated and free market. You need to be extra careful on where you spend your money at. You should only invest in a new project if you know for sure they are working towards something that is feasible and profitable on long run. People in the internet has varied interest and motives and since this industry has a huge money at stake, there will always scammers trying to scam uneducated individuals, so expect this kind of scenario, as an investor our duty is to make sure that we are not going to fall on this scheme and also to warn and educated others because we do not have same level of mentality here, so let's help one another.

Nothing has changed so far. There are still projects that's out to get every penny you have in your wallet including defi projects. But there is just one that is very special that could make it better even if you are a bounty hunter who will normally dump the tokens you get. This project is Uniswap.  Its like heaven for all whether you are a scammer or not. Defi projects though are pushing the prices up and with the halving effect, I guess we may be seeing good prices.

It doesn't matter if the new ones do not have any sort of credibility or any sort of hype anymore. Think about it this way, there are enough coins right now, there are great altcoins already and we can just continue with this, let there be no more new coins or tokens ever again, that would be not a problem at all, we would basically just living a decent life without ever worrying if there would be any new coin or not, who would mind that?

So, at that moment I would say that crypto is already cool enough, why must we need new coins that could make people money? The only thing that people consider these new coins are the fact that people think it might actually make them super rich super fast, they know they won't get super rich with bitcoin or ethereum, so they invest to new coins, I believe that is wrong.

This has been the very problem since then, people tend not to look at the value of the project but instead the value of the coin which they can make profit from investing. The thing now is that, DeFi projects is hype by the investors, I don't wanna be hypocrite I also invested at some and waiting to land in exchanges in a short period of time. There are projects that is worth to take for a long term, don't get the idea, but what happening right now is just the same as what happened last 2017, all out hype and cry after most of the projects just ran away. crossfingers.

See the common mistakes of them? that will lead them in a bad situation, YAM is a joke coin like Doge but doge does not have any code bugs lol poor YAM CEO.

The practice of launching projects without having a vision to develop product as showcased on roadmap didn't start recently, so many projects in the past have been doing this. Some will just show investors an MVP, which they have no plans to develop in future, just to lure in investors. Very few projects foster development as promised, most team members are just after the money. This is the more reason why some team members keep launching new projects and cashing out steadily on investors.

They never had a long term prospects. All those "quite profit" and "high investment" returns were the result of the hype that has been created back in 2017. I feel bad for those who joined in late. They were the one who made all the loss and one mans loss is another mans profit.
Most of the projects are scam. Even now, there are few projects popping up every now and then, which eventually ends up dying. But, what does this have to do with the future of crypto? The future of crypto currencies are not some "shit random projects"!
