single card holder for credit card sized physicals (group buy) will order on 9-6

I couldn't find the post but someone else had posted asking if anyone had extra ballet cases or other single card holders.



These are cases that Ballet uses for their wallet
but they work well with Coldkey's as well and with any other credit card physicals.



Before, we could not get these from BalletCrypto but after many emails back and forth with their support team - they now have them up for sale, in packs of 5 for $25 - essentially $5 each.

If you were to buy a 5 pack (minimum purchase) from balletcrypto it would be $25 shipped for five. However, if people want to join in on a group buy - I can make one order (prior to September 7th) where I can receive 35% off with free shipping - this would drop the case total to $3.25 each (and you don't have to order in multiples of 5) I would have the whole order shipped to minerjones (I did confirm that he would be ok with this) where he could distribute with any other orders he may be holding for you. If you were to have nothing with minerjones and bought 5 of them, cost for the cases would be $16.25 and I am pretty sure minerjones can re-ship them for less than $8.75, so it would still be cheaper than buying direct.

I am going to make an order for at least 25 of them for myself - if you want to join the bulk order and save a few bucks per case, comment with how many you want and I will add you to the list.

Order will be placed on September 6th. Payment needs to be made prior to that time.

Thanks for sharing this.  I love how snug they fit these cards, certainly looks good for the single Coldkey cards.. but damn $5 dollars is pretty pricey for just a simple plastic case.  I have opened /use one Ballet card so far.  My case doesn't hold on all that great to the card, it easily pops open.  Are you experiencing the same or is it snapped down pretty firmly?

yes, the cards fit nice but I agree that they do not seem to snap on very tight, I have never had one fall open on me though but if you are moving them around a lot you would want to make sure you are holding it tight.

I did attempt to get a bulk deal on these by offering to buy several hundred but was told that due to their manufacturing cost that $5 is as low as they will go.  Now, if I do a bulk order (before Sept 7th) I could get a 35% due to a coupon code I have - it drops the price to 3.25 each but then I would have to ship them all out - not sure if I could ship them out for less than 1.75 to all locations.

I personally do not have need to buy that many of them - between my cs1 stamps, coldkite card, coldkeys and a few other cards I have - I could use maybe 20-25 of them. If we wanted to do a bulk purchase - we could combine what everyone needs/wants into one order - slap my 35% coupon on it knock the price down to 3.25 each - If minerjones is willing to facilitate the combining of shipments, we could have them shipped to him and the cases could be added to people's other orders, thus reducing the cost of the cases.

If a person gets even 5 cases at 3.25 (17.25) and had MJ ship to them only the cases, it might still be cheaper than buying direct. I will reach out to minerjones and make sure he is ok with it - if we do go that route.

I don't know how many want cases like this and/or how many they want - but we can start a list and see - I would have to order prior to September 7th.

I will add a list to the OP - if no others want to join in, I will most likely order the ones I need and use the coupon for those.

Credit cards and Collectible cards aren't the same size though, that's the problem solved here.

Thank you for the heads up Mopar! I don't have any need to join the group buy at this time, but I have been on the lookout for credit card sized holders like this. The best I could come up with was very thick acrylic display cases - and while these are nice, they are typically held together by magnets. The Ballet one is perfect, a tighter seal, the softer plastic is less prone to damage the inserted card versus the acrylic, etc.

For my case, I am just swapping out the a Pizza Ballet with a card I had in an acrylic display case, so again, no need for me to join in on the group buy. But thank you for posting this!!

that fit? I have tried to find one that fits the dimensions all the ones I have seen are too large (more fitting to a sports card) I even had https://www.bcwsupplies.com/ go thru their entire assorted sizes and the closest they found was still 1/8" too large so the card slides around.

2 ballet wallets fell on the floor together with the plastic case. the two cases broke and are no longer usable.
unfortunately on the official ballet homepage there is no possibility to get only the plastic cases without ordering the related wallets...
now my question to the big community here
does anyone here have 2 plastic cases and would sell them to me?

I have a request in with Ballet to purchase some cases - if no one else has any, I will set two aside for you.
