Avalanche, a next generation blockchain project, firstly using Avalanche consensus will go live in two weeks. Currently, all parameters are in time and Avalanche is providing Everest, Avalanches mainnet candidate:

In July, Avalanche did a sale for 0.50$ / 0.85$ per AVAX (depending on how long AVAX is locked). Market has moved a lot since July; Bitcoin is now well above 11k, Ethereum has increased but very high transaction fees because of DeFi, a challenging business opportunity on Blockchain.
Seems it’s a good time for Avalanche to be launched.

What price do you expect from Avalanche when it goes live? Keep in mind, many AVAX will be locked first and only be distributed later.
And what is your prediction for Avalanche long-term?

Avalanche is a really good project especially if you are planning to hold it for the long term. Upon mainnet release, I am expecting the price to be at least x1.5 that's just my opinion and not investment advice. I don't trust the IOU AVAX price.

My prediction is at least x2.5 because Avalanche is really buliding very fast. Not many projects keep to meet timelines, just saying soon but Avalanche really delievers. ETH 2.0 was firstly promised 2 years back and still isn't live.

I don't trust the IOU AVAX price.

You are right, free market price can be different and IOU is always very shady.

This is just an optimistic expectation. Growing fast doesn't mean the price would also grow fast.
Yes, avalanche is a promising project and seems that the whole community is watching it. But i think not yet judge it properly; remember what happened with Grin project, the first coin developped with the new protocole MimbleWimble, which even has been adopted as a paiement in bitcointalk to buy copper membership. His price went down from over 5$ to below 1$ in actual market. I don't advice to make huge expectations so not to encourage others to invest only according to personal opinions.

I would love to keep an eye on this project especially it is one of the most touted projects out there. If the price of the token sells above the initial selling price after the mainnet launch then it is probably going to be the first project I will notice that the price will increase after token sales. From experience, almost 99% of new projects token is always sold below the crowd sale price. However, since a certain percentage is locked, the fall in price might be minimal.

actually don't expect much but maybe the possibility is x2 or x3 from the current price but I actually didn't really expect it the price, but with the mainnet avalanche because it looks like this blockchain from ava will be very good if it can be further developed. and maybe someday it will become a trend, that is, a new project created smartcontract with avalanche blockchain.

Seems a promising project to follow but don't expect too much returns from this. But 1.5x is already a good profit and it seems very plausible to happen. But as a trader, you need to get the pulse of the market also as well as the actual development of this project. A lot have been comparing this project to more established ones like Cardano. But it is too early to tell their fate in the crypto community as we need to see first what they have got under their sleeves.

No matter how good a project is, no matter the team backing it up and working on it, predicting the future price of the coin is not possible; this is actually where most gets trapped because they tend to listen to what people are saying and hence holding when they are meant to sell. No doubt Avalanche is a good project but saying it will attain a particular price is what I can't do however it is likely possible to see good change in the price if really what is expected is worth it. Let's always remember that many predictions has failed in the crypto space thus being wise in investing is very important.

There are tons of people even around my friends chamber who are interested in this avalanche thing, I am not personally interested but I have to accept that it is getting a ton of attention. Which is why I believe if there was any sort of hype around the fifty cent level there should be even more now when the time is later and more people had chance to do it.

However this is just the start, wait around and one day it will be trading and when that happens there will be price drops here and there, do not lose your hopes when that happens, it happens to everything and you should just keep on grinding and chipping away higher with time. As long as this project keeps the interest of people high, there should not be any sort of problem when it comes to going up in price.

I think they can be like the next ethereum. The tech they are into are good and well described what they need is the adoption by the community. There are too many claims about the next project that can match up ethereum but so far the number one contender and has way seen its potential is polkadot. I think avalanche need to step up since polkadot is already on Binance and other exchange will list them for sure.

We will never know what could be the price since mainnet goes live and it be listed on market. But I do know is it will have a good impact once the mainnet is running already.

I think the price could be a huge speculation for now.IOU of avax traded above 7$ but lets not bet that high cause market is different on the actual trading.

These can easily do 2 to 3X upon launch then the price would tank. I don't think there is any serious project listed on it yet until people start using it and pose a serious alternative to ethereum scaling solution that is when it is going to start accruing value just like what happen to Ethereum. Good to have all these solutions coming up now

Avalanche annouced it will wait for more partnerships before releasing live mainnet. Mainnet is now planned in september:
