Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

This is definitely a reasonable request, and I don't see why Trust rating shouldn't be shown across all local child boards, as it can only help, especially on the very active local boards such as Russian. I honestly see no drawbacks if that is implemented.

We could use something like that in our (Croatian) local board as well, as currently trust score is not visible there at all, including Trade child board, and you would kinda expect that there.

In the world of altcoins, there are a lot of scams and a lot of those on the forum who want to cash in on this by deceiving other users. Therefore, this function may help someone even before he enters into a conversation with a scammer or bot, so as not to waste his time.
Yep, especially now when we see increase in altcoin scams due all that DeFi hype that is going on at the moment. Experienced users will do their diligence anyway, but newbies usually have no idea about trust ratings flags etc, so why not make it a bit safer for them, and more convenient for all of us, especially if that doesn't negatively affect forum in any way. And as I said, I really see no reason why that would be a case.

I think this is very important to prevent possible scam. Although there's no much scam happening in our local thread, over the time I think it will. So, it's very important to show the feedback there too and so does in your local boars and others. In fact, I think every board should have feedback visible since it may happen that there's a scammer is active where feedback isn't active and they can take the chance.

<...> I believe that in all local sections of altcoins the trust counter should be enabled, since there are a lot of scams in altcoins and it appears every day, now DeFi scams can also crawl from all cracks.
I certainly don't know the real reason why the admins only turned on the counter in the English section, but it would be helpful to have it work in all such sections.
I can’t recall why it is asymmetrical across Local Boards, although I have seen it discussed every now and then (such as here: Show "trust" on local boards | Some Child Boards).

I’ve gone over the Local Boards, and it seems to be showing on the Altcoin section for in these cases only: Arabic, Chinese, French, Indian, Dutch, Polski.

There is no common activity factor implied (i.e. board being very active), so I wonder the reason behind the asymmetry.

I support this initiative. With each such initiative the number of cheated newcomers to the forum should decrease.

I support this initiative. The alternative cryptocurrency section is really one of the most popular sections in the Russian locale, where there are announcements of new cryptocurrencies, bounty campaigns and airdrops, and it would be very useful to show the trust of all users there.
