NEW WEBSITE HTTPS://VSYNC.IO
A new Vsync, new features and new possibilities!
MANDATORY UPDATE: VSYNC WALLET RELEASE V3.9.0.0

How to update:

VSync Core version v3.9.0.0 is now available from: https://github.com/VsyncCrypto/VSX/releases

This is a new major release, including a number of bug fixes and performance enhancements, as well as a revised reward overview.

Please report bugs using the issue tracker at Github: https://github.com/VsyncCrypto/VSX/issues

Notable changes:

1.    New POS/MN reward breakdown.

2.    Fixed OOM vulnerability.

3.    Added the block-hash data to the information tab.

4.    Added LOCKS to avoid some of the crashes.

5.    Increased inputs per transactions.

6.    Increased speed of data synchronization and peer connectivity.

How to upgrade:

1.    Exit/stop the current wallet from the wallet. (File - Exit or ./vsync-cli stop).

2.    Backup existing wallet.dat file to a safe location before upgrading.

3.    Delete all files located in your VSX data directory except your wallet.dat, vsync.conf, masternode.conf and backups folder.

4.    Download VSYNC blockchain snapshot file and extract the files to your data folder.
        https://github.com/VsyncCrypto/VSX/releases/download/v3.9.0.0/snapshot.rar

5.    Add main node 69.57.222.116 to your config file.

6.    Download and install the new wallet appropriate for your OS.

7.    Re-start the wallet. (Launch from your Vsync shortcut icon or ./vsyncd for Linux).

By default, your VSX data directory is located in the following locations for each OS type:
Windows
Go to Start > Run > %APPDATA%\vsync
(or just enter the above path in explorer)
or C:\Users%username%\AppData\Roaming\vsync
OSX
~/Library/Application\ Support/vsync
(/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application\ Support/vsync)
Linux
~/.vsync
(Hidden folder “.vsync” - control+h to display in the GUI, ls -a to display in terminal)

Updated the wallet to version 3. Sync after using snapshot was fast. However when i unlock my wallet for staking, it does not start staking. The icon on the bottom right of the wallet never goes green. Any suggestions?

Need put in Vsync.conf like this

rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
staking=1
logtimestamps=1
maxconnections=256
masternode=1
externalip=
bind=
masternodeaddr=your ip:65010
masternodeprivkey=
addnode=69.57.222.116

Obs: Dont forget unlock wallet only staking to!

I added the lines except for these:
externalip=
bind=
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=your ip:65010
masternodeprivkey=

because i dont have a masternode.

Unfortunately no luck, the small lock says my wallet is opened for staking but the staking arrow says not active.

Also before this version i never editted the conf file and it was able to stake just by using the option from the menu (like im trying now).

Was not to work is not working? how much vsx do you have?What version of the wallet are you using? did you download Snapchot or sync from scratch?a child with ex Explorer to see if his block is in sync It may be that the wallet is two or three blocks in front so far there is no problem

Using wallet 3.9.0 and its synced accordingly to the explorer. No problems so far. With the previous wallet version 3.8.7.6 i was able to stake and get rewards but now i upgraded to 3.9.0 and it does not stake. The small lock says the wallet is unlocked for staking but the staking icon (gray with an arrow facing up) says staking and multisend not active and it does not turn green like the previous version of the wallet.

I really did not understand why your wallet does not have a stake activated as you change the status from lock to unlock Do you use the unlock option only for stake?and another thing you didn't tell me the amount of surplus you have because depending on the amount it takes to receive some reward!

I use the 'unlock wallet option' and tick the 'for anonimyzation and staking only' box. I have over 1k coins and before this update it would give me a staking reward every few days.
My problem now is that, after openning the wallet fro staking, the staking button does not turn green and it does not say that i am staking when i hover above the staking icon.
The wallet is synces and blockcount is matching the explorer.

Strange but I believe that the quantity must have many coins in sake and maybe it is not having any effect, it passes to your wallet I check and return it and have this otion to in debug console put this command "getstakingstatus" for check your stake status

20:40:41

{
    "validtime" : true,

I see stake its not enable rebuilt your wallet from the zero make download snapshot file keep only the files vsync.conf, masternode.conf and wallet.dat after sync again waiting load blocks check with explorer and sequence make unlock wallet only for stake and tell me later if it worked or not!
