Good day, we are happy to present you a new cryptocurrency - Ouroboros.
Ouroboros is a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) cryptocurrency created on the basis of the Cosmos-SDK (Tendermint) with posmining functionality and building a structure of followers.
We have carefully studied the experience of our predecessor (PRIZM), analyzed all the mistakes made and created something more stable, faster and safer.
Our advantage:- Security: dozens of hackers and scammers gather around any popular project, so security is our top priority. For the official wallet, we use two-factor authentication via Google Authenticator and conduct an information security audit of all our projects through a private bug bounty program.
- Effective economic model: to ensure the stability of the exchange rate and avoid inflation, we have developed an effective economic model that takes into account the unsuccessful experience of our predecessors.
- Throughput: according to the results of recent tests, our minimum bar is 1 thousand transactions per second and 5 seconds on average per block generation. This way, your transaction is guaranteed to be confirmed within 10 seconds (maximum) of being sent.
- Democracy: the voting system inherited from Cosmos implements a truly democratic approach — any user can put any change in the system to the vote.
- Open source: the source code of all projects will be published on Github under an open source license — we are not against forks or new crypto projects based on our own. Also, several examples with integration of our blockchain will be posted on Github to make it easier for developers to implement services.
You can work with the blockchain in two formats : via the official web wallet or via the ouroboroscli console interface (based on cosmos ' gaiacli), which will use a locally running node.
At the moment, we are in the final stage of active development, the blockchain will be launched on September 1, on the same day the source code of the blockchain and node builds will be posted on github.
Most of the coins will be sold through crypto exchanges (we are already integrating with one and have almost agreed on placement with the other), there will be no pre-sale.
