It is so hard to believe that there must be an agenda against Arsenal. In all their games the ref is always hard on them. Well, I guess I was not the only person that observed this particular incident but I think the referee was fair enough in his judgement that's why he didn't think of giving the player a red card. Will I say the referee that officiated the match between Bournemouth and Arsenal was fair in his judgement I think no because I expected him to have given the player a yellow card as a warning instead of the straight red card. I don't think the decision of the referee has something to do with England football but if Arsenal thinks the referee was not fair in his judgement they can make an appeal I believe the decision of the referee vdn be overturned.

This is a straight red card no two discussions about this, it wasn’t about Arsenal been getting hard on because the three red cards that Arsenal have had this season are actually justified on the rules the only thing Arsenal needs to start complaining about is the referees actually lacked consistency in their decision making and are very bias towards other teams. Today they should have send out Tosin for the challenge because it was an obvious obstruction of goal, I was even surprised that they didn’t refer the referee to the monitor because it was the duty of VAR to correct that error and call for a red card.

Nicolas Jackson was pretty good today. People are criticizing Sancho’s performance, I believe most of the critics are bitter Manchester United fans. Chelsea fans should not be discouraged, they still have a chance to finish top 4 this season.  

I think you need to read the comments again it’s coming from Chelsea fans that have had high hopes for him to perform, but people will put this on Manchester United fans because of the bitter relationship they had. Hopefully he will have a better game next time than this one

Interesting situation but technically the red card is the correct decision I believe. I know what you mean though, but they should instead apply the rules equally. But I admit that the situation was quite brutal. Since he already gave the yellow and had time to review it, I think he was better able to assess whether the other player would have had a chance to intervene as they were more or less on the same line. Switching to red is a hard call after 30 minutes, but at the end of the day it doesn't mattr which minute it is if the red card is due.

But the more important question to me is whether Saliba's move was smart... He knew that if he touches the Bournemouth player like that, it would most likely backfire and I doubt that it makes sense after 30 minutes when the game is tied. Rather let that player take his chance, make him nervous from the back and then you can still hope that he wastes the chance and you are still playing with 11 players. This was not the right move by Saliba. You can do that when you have a 1-0 lead and it is minute 84 or so.

To be honest in my own opinion, I think Chelsea were lucky not to be reduced to 10 men after this incident and that's because this was very similar to the same thing that happened in that Arsenal game at Vitality stadium yesterday were Saliba was sent off for similar challenge on Bournemouth player.

Your statement about a gang up against Arsenal by match officials I don't think is true. For a truth, I think Arsenal actually didn't deserve the red card of yesterday but it wasn't bad call at the end because it was after the VAR reviewed the incident that Saliba was shown the red card.

Finally we managed to get 3 points and bring the Reds back to the top of the standings with a 1 point difference over Man City. The match overall was quite exciting, Liverpool and Chelsea had many opportunities, the only difference was that Liverpool played solidly up front. While Chelsea today did not appear so sharp, Palmer and Sancho movements were very limited, and again Jackson was selfish to always force himself to dribble the ball. Liverpool have a strong defender who is able to cut the ball off the opponent's feet. Gomes who came in as a supersub was able to maintain his position well.

Both teams put on an entertaining display as they tried to show who was the best in the match but despite Chelsea's best efforts after they fell behind in the scoreline, they were unable to convert their chances into goals in the end.

Liverpool relaxed their attack a bit and counterattacked more especially in the second half but when it comes to attack effectiveness this is the best when compared to Chelsea who tried to play the rhythm but in the end their attacks had to run aground and the chances were not maximized because Liverpool was quite good at intercepting the ball.

3 points keeps them at the top again and another advantage is Arsenal who did fail to bring 3 points this week a little makes Manchester City and Liverpool comfortable because at least their position will not be displaced in some time.

There are some decisions that if they referee doesn't award a penalty or a red card then he just being lenient with the player. If the referee decides to award the situation then he's also right.
In Saliba's situation, it's a red card. If the referee doesn't give it then it's his decision, but that doesn't mean he made a bad decision. Some referees are harsher than others.
Saliba was the last man, it's a known rule, if you're the last man and you stop somebody that is through on goal then it's a red card.

In that situation, I feel more angry at Saliba because he didn't need to make that challenge. There is a lot of space between the player and the box 18 meaning he has a lot of time to run up to the Bournemouth player and challenge for the ball legally, but he went for the foul. The referee was harsh, but it's still a red card offence.

It is indeed so hard to believe if the incidence actually started in the other side of the field. In this picture, it looks like a yellow card offence because the Liverpool player was dragged before entering the Chelsea's section.

I am an Arsenal fan, but I believe Saliba's incidence is a confirmed Yellow card, but for this one I can't tell even though it looks similar.

The rules of football is always clear, but when it happens to you, you will be thinking if it can be amend, but no way. Arsenal fans has taken it but I was expecting the referees to consider Gabrial that is almost on the same line with Sliba.

Full Time: Wolves 1 - 2 Manchester City

Manchester City without KDB and Rodri is not the best team to watch. They were lucky to get all three points today. Wolves were close to getting a point from this game. What a controversial end to the game. VAR confirmed the goal from Stones will stand and to be fair it looks like a sound decision to me but I know Wolves and opposition teams will have something to say about the result.

Today was obviously one of those lucky days for Manchester city as they have found it difficult wining wolves in their home even since last season, literally in their past five meetings at wolves home, this happens to be the first Manchester city is wining and it was a literal narrow escape else they would have drawn as they had done all the times they had met at wolves home in most recent times, the absence of KDB and Rodri has definitely affected the performance of City  such that they almost looked like they were going to be luck dependent for a victory in this game and they eventually had a last minute luck that got them the victory.

It's indeed a thrilling and entertaining match one of the best so far this season, truly Jones did marked Palmer well not giving enough space while Trent Alexander-Arnold didn't allow Sancho to attack as well I believe that is part of Liverpool game plan that is to curtail Chelsea to operate from operating from the wings or flank which really worked well, Liverpool back to the top position with another tough match against Arsenal next weekend while Chelsea squandered their opportunity of moving to the third position had they won the match unfortunately they are now sixth on the table.

It was an interesting game and a tactical one as well as both managers were being very cautious not to get exposed, the strategy adopted by Chelsea was slightly different from the usual approach and also Liverpool coach also approached the game tactically and didn’t expose his team because he knew if he attack Chelsea without caution it will be dangerous for him since Chelsea are good in attack. He played a more defensive strategy where all players were to defend and not allow Chelsea to penetrate and attack with just a few players while maintaining shape. Liverpool were better because they have a stable defensive line and that was the major problem of Chelsea, their defense was shaky because 2 key players were missing and he had to replace them and that was where their problem started from.

Liverpool knew the way Chelsea plays and stopped theme from playing it but all i will say is that Liverpool were in favor today and are lucky that the game went their way. I believe if it were Chelsea that was favored they would’ve scored more goals.

Chelsea have dropped too many points now i think they need to win their next match to keep their top 4 hopes alive.

Manchester City nearly dropped points today, snatching victory late in the match. It will be interesting to see their match against Liverpool, because both teams seem to be determined to win this season and Manchester City have a new rival, last year at the end of the season it was Arsenal, but after today's game I doubt that Arsenal will be able to fight for the championship

It was a pity that with all Chelsea's game possession, they struggled to equalize till the end of the second half, because after Jackson equalizer Liverpool scored again and Chelsea continued struggling. It is obvious that Chelsea was more with the ball, but they didn't use their opportunities wisely unlike Liverpool.

I thought that Chelsea fans are saying that Chelsea is the club with the best attacking force this season, what happened today. Did they exhausted all their attacking force when training before the match started.

I like your sarcasm. Yes Chelsea played well, it’s a pity you don’t get points for playing good football. Chelsea’s attack has been solid this season, they just weren’t as strong against Liverpool. It is not easy to get a win at Anfield, I believe Chelsea will be able to bounce back from this defeat. The two players I expected to score, Haaland and Cole Palmer didn’t score at all today. Both Manchester City and Chelsea had a tough time playing their respective games today.  

The match between Chelsea and Liverpool was very exciting and yes it all happened as people imagined that Liverpool had a greater chance of winning than Chelsea, but even so Chelsea gave Liverpool a very good fight, you know that when Jackson scored the goal for the equalizer it was almost written off by the referee as offside but after seeing the replay the referee ruled that there was no offside and made this match much more interesting, Chelsea is much more interesting for this season's journey because they played quite well even though they lost.

Full Time: Liverpool 2 - 1 Chelsea

Liverpool secure their place at the top of the table with a win over Chelsea FC. It was a very entertaining game to watch. Chelsea played well in the game, they outplayed Liverpool at Anfield in the first half but they couldn’t get the better of the final score sheet. Chelsea have dropped down the pecking order in the league table but I am still positive that Enzo Maresca can take Chelsea far this season.

This game was really entertaining and both teams made the match very interesting to watch. They have been a lot of discussion over this match and how entertaining and tough it is going to be which actually turned out to be so. Chelsea played well in this game but they didn’t just get the win they actually anticipated for in this game but Liverpool won the game slightly by one goal ahead. Chelsea’s performance is still very okay and this match which they’ve lost will not have anything to do with their performance in the league going forward. Enzo Maresca will really make them to play well and I feel he should be very confidence with the players also for a wonderful performance in today’s match.

I am glad to see finally Liverpool can able to collect 3 points from this match because this result makes them can taking over first place again from Manchester City but i have to says it's not easy for Liverpool to beat Chelsea this because Chelsea also very impressive in this match but in my opinion what makes this match is very entertaining is because both teams have been displayed attacking style and although Chelsea has been dominate from ball possession but in the term of the opportunities to scores i think both teams is equal and actually i almost thought this match will ended to draw and i liked the second goal from Liverpool because it's very clever and when Chelsea defensive players is too focus to Mo Salah it makes they don't pay attention to other players so i think Chelsea players didn't expect Curtis Jones which coming from behind and can utilize the chances to scored

What do you expect Palmer to play when the only time he can show his strength is when he is playing against an Underdog team? I have concluded that Palmer is overrated. He signs what people believe he is. If a player is a very good player who is meant to be hyped, then he has to show it whether he is playing against a big club or a small club. If you had watched the game, you get to see the performance of Salah, yet people think Palmer is the best in the PL now which is a very big lie.

Chelsea had done well today. They have shown that they are better than before, but we all know who would win the game. Chelsea can't win at Anfield. Maybe someday but not with this current squad. Their fans should stop the hype and noise. They are too loud, yet they are still struggling.

Palmer is a young player who is still growing up, and I think he has not gotten enough strength that will help him perform well against clubs like Liverpool. The fact that Palmer didn't perform well against Liverpool doesn't mean he is not a good player, and it is not enough reason for you to say that Palmer is not a good player or that he is overrated. What happened to Palmer today against Liverpool is normal; as a player, it's not every time you will shine or play well; there will be a time when you will play poorly, and people will notice it because that is not your usual performance. I don't think Palmer is overrated or hyped because he has been able to continue his goal-scoring record this season, and he is even the first player in the Premier League to score four goals in the first half of a match.

Well, In every game there are times that either there is an atrocious event that happened in the match or there is a unique option that has been made in the match and we always end up in a dilemma of whether or not the interpretations of the rules are being implemented on the penalties of the game. Knowing that referees reach their decisions quickly and more often than not based on the information they receive makes us appreciate the fact that all decisions will not be made alike. Which is very true when our favorite teams like Arsenal are involved and we must admit that even though there are analogousies with other cases concerning such other players like Saliba and Gabriel, the outcomes on the field are not always what was expected.

However, the most important thing is that we should back our crew and pay attention to a simple count of points scored this year. This sort of affairs are rather part of the spectacular and they contribute towards the development of interesting experiences of football by the fans. Looking at what the referee has done is not the best way forward but rather motivating the team to keep up the good work. To do this for the players and maybe sometimes learn from such moments as these is how we, as supporters show loyalty and faith in the journey the team has taken in the season.

Very exciting match: Manchester City against Wolves with a score of 1-2 and to be honest, I was very impressed with Wolves' performance because they were able to have a strong defense so it was quite difficult for Manchester City to break through Wolves' defense, making Manchester City almost end the match in a draw, but fortunately for Manchester city Stones he can score goals so that finally Manchester City can win against Wolves.

and in my opinion Pep needs to strengthen Manchester City's back line a little so that it is stronger because the reason why Manchester City conceded a goal was because Manchester City's defenders were a little careless. But to be honest, I was a little surprised when Strand scored the first goal of the match against Manchester City in the 7th minute because at that time I bet on Manchester City winning, but luckily, Manchester City ended up winning the match and getting 3 points.

Now Manchester City has to be patient sitting in 2nd place in the standings and Liverpool is sitting at the top of the standings. According to my prediction, one day Manchester City will be able to shift Liverpool's position, although of course it is not easy to shift Liverpool. Arsenal surprising losses at Vitality stadium are causing worries. Key players like Martin Odegaard are injured or suspended. Coach Mikel Arteta needs to make changes to strengthen his team especially before important match against Liverpool. Lucky to have that penalty? I really don't think so because if Chelsea player did not make that foul, Liverpool could score a goal with a finish in that situation too. So the penalty given to Liverpool is accurate and Mohamed Salah simply made a perfect penalty shot to help his team opening the match. After that Chelsea created enough pressure and opportunities, equalized the match but Liverpool again scored a leading goal which is also a winning goal for them.

Chelsea tried to equalize the match a second time but they failed and had to accept a defeat in Anfield and see both Liverpool and Manchester City running away on the table. Now Chelsea are 7 points less than Liverpool and 6 points less than Manchester City. They also drop to a sixth position in Premier League and have to return to a more realistic target in this season, top four.
