both Manchesters who should win easily their games as both are playing really weak opponents.

It's a bit harsh to class Villa as a 'really weak' opponent - this is a team that put 7 past Liverpool, beat Arsenal and Leicester, and should have taken a point vs Man U in their last game. Mathematically, if they win their many games in hand, they go top of the table ahead of Leicester on goal difference.

I do agree though that Man City will win this one - just not convinced Villa are 'really weak'.

I say really weak in the context that Manchester City is too strong for Aston Villa and not that Aston Villa is a really weak team generally speaking.In that Liverpool game I have said it before it was plain luck and even if Aston Villa plays 100 times during this year against Liverpool that result will never happen again.

I support what Cnut237 said cause the underdog shouldn't be underrated in some situations and the team in the subject (Aston Villa) have played against some big clubs which they shocked every fan but for today's match which starts in some minutes Manchester City will be home and previous Premier league the two sides met City gave them 6 goals to 1.
I believe City will win again but I expect the United game to be easy to win than the City.

The match between Manchester city and Aston Villa will start soon. I'm eagerly waiting to enjoying this match. Manchester City are in great form at the moment. It looks like they will continue their winning streak in today's match and will easily beat Aston Villa

Thye've just did it, slow start but coming the second half they've score 2 points, ending the game with 2-0.

They've continue their winning streak and still good at home, not that much into soccer but looking from the live odd where bookies

A deserved win for City despite the duty to respect Villa's bravery surely Villa have been phenomenal this season having very good defensive stats and having Grealish Watkins and ElGhazi upfront is really helping .
Especially when you see Grealish  he is a real value i was surprised that no one picked him in summer but surely after this season he will be going places he is really something to add for attack and look at this chart.

Another Clean Sheet, and the rhythm is high, and Bernardo Silva began to remind us of the season in which he carried the team on its shoulders, and scored a goal with a lot of talent and intelligence. Foden, on his right, appears to be developing exceptionally well. Currently, City is the most stable team in England.

Fulham have surprisingly good and hard working defense. Really hard to get past. Even the first goal, if not for Areola's error, don't think United would have scored. Bruno Fernandes did get a couple of quality shots off out of which one hit the post and the other was saved but that's just Fernandes's quality. Cant do much about that.

Edit: United do score again, and the defense this time lets Areola down. Should have closed Pogba down but they gave him a bit too much space. Taking nothing away from a long range curler into the top drawer from Pogba. Not easy to do.

^^Exactly, Juan Mata is old now and most of the big teams often search for young talents to replace the position they play in. For Mata, they found Bruno Fernandes and as just a back up option they have Van de Beek as well. There is always a point when teams search for a younger option of a player in that position he plays in. Time for Mata to search for next club I guess. With Fernandes playing a crucial role in almost every match. I don't think Mata will be given much chance to play, only some FA games or so but still they are only a few and only happens after so much time.

Cavani and Pogba played very well and scored two goals while cavani was namefd MOTM  with outstanding performance despite his age. OGS has really improved his team,  Man Utd consistency in winning their subsequent matches should be their priority now

This is completely unrelated. Ozil wasnt even included in the squad list while Juan Mata is on the bench. Bruno is better in that position, besides that there are few other name that would fit the position better therefore he wasnt given chances to play most of the time in EPL match


Just some heads up for everyone especially those that keep saying Manchester United isnt good enough to compete for the title, Manchester United is currently on 13 unbeaten streak on Premier League  . On top of the Premier League for now, atleast until Manchester City win their next one because Manchester City is 1 match short

@masulum Manchester United have the option to extend his contract by another year, and if they do this then it’ll only be done to keep him as a backup player, but personally I feel that he should leave and play regularly. @AndySt Ozil was axed because he spoke against China, and due to that Arsenal lost a big chunk of their revenue which was coming from China, and to appease China the board decided to omit Ozil.

United is the one on top with 2 points difference to City but City is 1 short match so City can take over the top position if they win their 1 short match. It makes the league become more interesting to follow, I think the matches between those top teams will be the most crucial matches. United, City, Leicester, Liverpool, Tottenham. The matches of them against each other will be very interesting to watch.

Now Manchester City is one step away from leading the standings, it is enough to win the next match with West Brom and I think that it will not be difficult for the team to do it. While Liverpool will have a game with Tottenham after the match against the stubborn Burnley, and Lester will have a game with Everton, the matches are not easy. Manchester United will play with Shefld, and Sheffield knows how to take points from top teams, despite the fact that in this season their game is not going well. I say this to the fact that City has good chances to lead the standings.

Manchester United were I believe the frontrunners looking for Grealish's signature last summer but he instead chose to stay at Villa, and the club signed 2 or 3 good players to back him up, so he does not have to do the work all by himself. Plus they do have a good manager and I think some players prefer to play where they are loved;)

I think you are trying to say "The  two Manchester teams".
The premier league this season is quite closely contested with little point margin between the top 6 teams. Liverpool look a little off the pace; with little to zero creativity from the midfield outlets which has led to them scoring a single goal in 2021 so far.
Manchester City meanwhile are the form team; winning 6 straight game week matches for the first time this season; it will be a long interesting title race.
