Right before the break due to these nations league games the table looks like this:

Never would of thought the team on top of the table would be Leicester city and Tottenham and Southampton in the top 5.
Just hope not more players get injured during these games until the Premier league starts back up on the 21st again.

And Manchester City isn't even among the top 10?
This season feels more like the  2015–16 Premier League season, when Leicester City won the trophy. Most of the top dogs were inconsistent at that time and the underdog sniffed it right off their noses

Then should we put a couple bucks on aston villa,  southampton or everton to win the premier league?

Even though it wont as good as leicester x5,000 as the league running now, the latest odds i can see for aston villa is @135 and everton @110 and southampton @150.
While the two debutants fulham and west brom each got @5,000 which it's a mission impossible for now.
But if you make a bet for aston villa in pre-season i guess you'll get a better odds like @2,500 or so. Anyone?

Sadly there won't be any PL matches this weekend. So it's going to be a boring weekend. But I might check out UEFA National league. There's some good fixtures like Portugal vs spain.

That aside, looking at the current premier league table, I have a feeling that we would see a similar standing before the first half 9f the season comes to an end. Leicester, Southampton and Tottenham looking really good thus far.

The chances of Aston villa winning the title is pretty slim despite some impressive performance so far. At best, they would get either an Europa or UCL slot.

Not for Leeds though. Some sites put Leeds on 100-200x iirc and Leeds show that they got the potential for that . I got leeds to finish top 4 in the league and it was only 28x and it was a pre season bet that I made

At the best case possible, he would be a good player in Tottenham but he wont be a beast anymore. Premier League is definitely not a soft field like Laliga. He spent most of his time on the bench last season while other player has been working out at their best possible effort

It obvious that the LaLiga and Premier League are played in a different criterion but if we judge the future game of Bale in Tottenham through the way Mourinho usually wants to achieve his intentions Mourinho could train him into a beast once he's fully recovered.

Probably he will but for sure he wont be staying on the bench in Tottenham. Lamela is not performing as he should be and Bale is definitely taking his spot sooner or later. Aside from Bale, Tottenham was pretty bad recently. Their last games wasnt that good, They almost hit the draw against West Brom which is one of the worse team in Premier League

Brighton is actually playing very good football and they had quite a lot of bad luck so far. I am quite sure they are staying in the league and with a couple of points to spare

I agree with you about Brighton but as arallmuus said, if Sheffield and Burnley will continue playing like high school players (would describe it as clowns especially Sheffield, too disappointing). Since I expect Sheffield and Burnley to recover later then Brighton will be a candidate to occupy a spot in the relegation zone.
Some of the other teams, they dropped a little especially Leeds! but I believe they can stand up easily.
Honestly without counting the actual score, I would say, Fullham + West Brom + Brighton + Newcastle are good candidates to be relegated but Sheffield and Burnley ruined my calculations with their miserable performance at least until now

It's only week 8 so Sheffield still has time for some to come if you expect it, but this is not bad luck or anything clearly their squad is not strong this season somehow I see the game is so bad whether this is some factor too
Even more, I cornered Burnley who will enter the degderasdi zone this season but in appearance no one knows so this is just my speculation.

Chelsea has good results and have 15 points totally and ranked at 5th position but I remembered last season with the return of Mr. Frankie as a manager, Chelsea had good start and Tammy Abraham had good first half season. They all fell down in the second half.

Let's see how Frankie and Chelsea will manage their good forms till the end. The season is so weird and Chelsea has their opportunity to fight for top 4 and even the trophy. They currently have 3 points after Leicester City.

I understand that Chelsea is stronger this year compared to last one but from this going to say that they will surely win the Premier League 2020 takes a lot of courage.I don’t think Chelsea will win the Premier League this year as Liverpool is still the big one which has the highest chances to win again the Premier League this year and that game with Aston Villa happens once in 1000 years so it was just really bad luck.

Ronaldo will play again for Portugal do you think? Some of the best players playing will make it look interesting for Premier League I think. Usually those who play well, come back and play better for their teams (thinking like of my very own Harry Kane for example).

Bale is still a goal-hungry player, but he is very different and not at his best. I believe Mourinho can maximize Bale's potential and make him better, but I agree that Laliga is different from the Premier League.
Bale look perfect for Tottenham because the club has made him a great field star. His return may have an impact on the achievement of the club for the better

Every winger that want to thrive in football and on the field of play have to be goal hungry and it natural for Bale great speed and great physical ability to reduce since he's not getting younger and he was said to also have some problem which i dont what it really was but he's gaining back some of his capacities lately.

West Brom maybe consider as one of the worse team but that doesnt mean the team wont like to upgrade their way of playing and the last time i checked using the previous performance of a club to judge their new match may failed and we dont know how prepared West Brom is for remaining game in this season premier league, remember so team usually start the season slow and later come out strong while some started strong and later give sloppy performance.
 Speaking of Bale move. I dont think his move to Tottenham is guarantee because i read this morning that the Real Madrid may still have an interest in the player.

You can never predict an exact Premier League winner. Even when half of the matches have passed, only a few seasons we can predict the champion. Chelsea is indeed stronger than they were in the last season but Liverpool and Mancity are never a weak team no matter how many losses they have since the beginning of the season. Dont forget that Tottenham comes back outstanding. You are too confident to make such a statement

Chelsea have had some interesting performances this season but they are still far from winning the premier league. If you watched games where they played against big teams like Liverpool and Manchester United. You would understand what I mean. In those matches, Chelsea struggled to keep up. Except Lampard comes with something different soon and start winning games against big teams. Chelsea aren't taking crucial points they need to win the title.

They can start by winning Tottenham at the end of the month.

Chelsea are a good team but I make them 3rd or even 4th favourites to win the league. It’s not impossible for Chelsea to become champions but a little unlikely.

^^ I do not remember anyone doing that before Leicester neither . 5000 odds is not something you see, maybe it may have been done looooong before I was born but I have been watching premier league for the past 20+ years and never seen any team like Leicester win it before, they were barely out of relegation zone a year prior and they became champions a year later, that is insane turn around to become champions.

Ronaldo to Manchester United talks have been getting louder recently, what do you guys think? Would having Ronaldo at United change something? I mean surely it will change "something" but do you think that is enough to put them at the top levels? They are looking horrible right now even though they finished strong last year, if they get rid of Pogba somehow and get Ronaldo during the break, they could potentially become a whole new awesome team.

I was initially leaning more to Everton when they were having that good form but right now i am a little confused between them and Aston Villa, But who knows? Anything can happen

Everyone wants Manchester United to get rid of Pogba as if, he was the only bad player in the team, their are other worst players as well, like Lingaurd. I've never liked that guy's play.

Paul Pogba on the other hand might have just failed to perform up to his full potential as he did back at Italian Juventus probably because, he wasn't playing from the wrong he's used to and he's got this ego around him that makes things rather worst than settled.

It's as bad as it looks. Salah has been a pivotal part of Liverpool's squad this season so he will be duly missed. By the way, our next premier league game (The one against with Leicester) was rescheduled for 22nd November. That should give some time for Liverpool to have some recoveries. Our defense at the moment is a total wreck.

The last time I checked, there was about 92 players out on injuries in the Premier league (including those with Covid-19).

I was just reading the news when I saw Salah having covid and said hell yeah, poor Klopp, after losing his defenders for injury, it is the time now for the attack line to collapse... then I come here to find your post with that epic sentence and I confirm it!

Boy oh boy aston villa seems has a little chance to get the rare miracle to win the prem this season , that price is so worth it for the sake of $10 luck.
No way leeds with bielsa in charge and some great transfers had that high price , they are even favorited to finish in the european competition spot.
