I was just reading the news when I saw Salah having covid and said hell yeah, poor Klopp, after losing his defenders for injury, it is the time now for the attack line to collapse... then I come here to find your post with that epic sentence and I confirm it! So Salah will miss Egypt match tomorrow and Leicester? Atalanta? Brighton? Yeah, I am about to post this update on this thread after watching the news on tv like 5 minutes ago. And it’s confirmed, that he will miss his match for Egypt, and also for Liverpool against Leicester and Atalanta. This is bad, but I wish the best for Salah. But.. Sorry Salah, with your covid, Liverpool vs Leicester will be more interesting. You are just over power this season

So Salah will miss Egypt match tomorrow and Leicester? Atalanta? Brighton? The positive result of Salah is the bad news for Liverpool but I don't think The Kop and Klopp will get much troubles with a few missed matches of Salah. Jota can be a good alternative for Salah. In recent matches, with very good form of Jota, I read people wanted Jota to replace Mane. The sudden infection of Salah brings a chance for Klopp to build up another team without Salah and also test the ability of Jota when he has to start match under pressure. I think Jota can do his works well.

In a situation where countries all over the world are reporting record-breaking numbers of new Covid19 cases, maybe travelling all around the world for these kind of national games is probably not the best thing to do ... I am sure Salah won't be the only one coming home with an infection. These national games are the perfect spot to spread the virus. Players from many different teams, from different countries come together, some probably from places that don't have these strict hygiene rules. No wonder that you have a high risk of getting the virus there.

Quick recovery for Salah
Replace Mane just because he scored an hat trick against farmers these people don't deserve to watch football maybe they would excel more in cricket. Jota is just an opportunist another version of Chicharito they contribute nothing to the team only wait for an opportunity to score

Many are also worried about this, therefore the spread will continue to widen seeing so many cases in various regions especially in the simultaneous qualification that the possibility of the league players will return for those who are called by the national team. but I hope that in this situation they apply it so strictly that when they return to the league nobody gets infected under any circumstances.

Life must go on If we remain doing nothing like to ban every single international matches until everything fully recovered back to normal which it has no specific time when this mad covid will stop hitting our world , the matches will stopped forever. All of those policies to let all the international matches to run i believe it is the best choice , those stakeholders taking that decisions with reasons. It is normal to be angry to see your key player like salah tested positive for covid19 because of the international travel and have to missed important matches in the premier league , it happens to everybody. This is a wild world now.

I know there is already a poll of who you are going to think will win the competition, but is there also some sort of poll of people hoping that a particular team will win? I would like it if we get an outsider for the title again, just like Leicester City a few years ago.
Like me, I am not in support of any team, I am not also a fan to any football club. This season has just started, it is only eight games played so far, but it seems more of Liverpool having the strength to take the league title again, the chance for Liverpool is very high. Tottenham which is in second position now with Liverpool at the same point will surely never take it, while Leceister City do not have such strong team to emerge the club to take the league this season.

Chelsea are coming out stronger in this season 2020, that is surprising other teams, the way Chelsea is pressing forward despite their failure over two match they that caused them draw 0:0 to end the game but they are still improving in the premier league. Chelsea has learnt from their mistakes for the last tournament that make them not to go far in premier league. With this strategies the coach has introduced into the club, show that Chelsea will surely wine this premier league 2020.
Chelsea are a good team but I make them 3rd or even 4th favourites to win the league. It’s not impossible for Chelsea to become champions but a little unlikely. Edit - Salah has Covid - https://twitter.com/livecholfc/status/1327268134147899395?s=21This season is a joke. Maybe unlikely, but they are contenders in a weird anything can happen season, so that's OK. Remember I put a fiver on the blues in the pre season 14/1, so I don't mind. What will be will be.

A weekend without what I like to call the real deal (EPL soccer). Damn these dull internationals, I’m not going to watch any of them, they bore the hell outta me.

I am also feeling really Bore but still trying to have some good sporting activity hopefully today try in Horse racing if its not works then only other option is watch some interesting International Soccer Match because we cannot go with any alternative option which can fulfil this all without European soccer.

Yeah I will say the same. They have so many new plyers to settle in and we have seen that despite the squad depth and the players they have right now , they are still struggling a bit. I would say they would be within top 5 but to win the title seems like a bit shady especially when there are many big teams around.

UEFA nations league matches were never my cup of tea. You have all these countries with teams who otherwise don’t qualify for UEFA Champions league, it feels like you’re watching second or third tier club matches. They still make a hella lot of money on sponsorships though.
What is looking interesting though is Man united’s new manager. Looks like Ole is going to be shown the door soon, better make way for Pochettino. Better than the other candidates for the role that’s for sure.

I think Ole is not going any where in near future he is doing some good job now need some time hopefully he will be good enough in coming days because just showing door to manager is not good for them to improve team performance they need to do some more work on other issues as well and improve quality in buying players.

Ole is doing great , it's just some players are letting the team down. Bit of defensive players and an experienced striker in Manchester United will be enough to keep them back on track IMO. Man Utd can do whatever they want like with changing managers but result would be same until they bring in some good players as you said.

I agree, Nations League is boring but if anyone finding this weekend is boring then Portugal vs France may be a good deal tho, it will start in 1 hour The positive result of Salah is the bad news for Liverpool but I don't think The Kop and Klopp will get much troubles with a few missed matches of Salah. Indeed, bad news for one can be a good opportunity for another. The essential point is LFC finding a way to bring a good team to face Leicester after the disastrous health related issues lately...

It’s a good thing Brendan Rodgers has form for choking We are going to need a bit of luck right now because half of our first XI is injured or unavailable. Thiago & Fabinho are supposed to be close to returning though so that’s good.

Liverpool won't be the only team to lose it's top players. I think that due to covid19 many teams will be forced to search for the replacements and use the young players. so we will see many surprising results ahead.

Thiago & Fabinho are supposed to be close to returning though so that’s good. I don't think either Fabinho or Thiago would be back before our game with Leicester city next week. I've already come to terms with the fact that LFC will be without key players. Since VVD got out, Gomez became the pillar and bow that Gomez is also gone, I want to believe Williams or Phillips will be able to fill in the big boots if they are called to do so. How we move from this will determine whether we would defend the title or not.

You're correct, it's quite unfortunate that Liverpool have to cope with this number of injuries so early in the season, but it is what it is, and the only thing Jurgen Klopp can do now is to motivate the players available to perform to the best of their ability, I remember last season, City had so many injury issues and they were unable to cope with it and dropped far below Liverpool having to relinquish their title finally, let's see if that's what's going to happen to LFC, Leicester is a big test and an opportunity to make a statement, we'll see how that one pans out for Jurgen and his boys.
