I personally still don't really like how Conte played against Leeds yesterday, especially in the first half. Conte seems to be implementing a defensive strategy without any counter-attack from his players, it's a pity I think because a team like Tottenham with their star players should play more aggressively. It will take time, Conte's defensive gameplan is actually quite interchangeable when played properly. I think Tottenham has players that will work well in his system, they needed some balance in their team and he will bring that.

Tottenham's problem is the disparity between team quality and general expectations. Their team is decent but not great and yet people expect them to constantly fight for trophies because they overachieved in 2 successive seasons under Pochettino. Liverpool just demolished Arsenal by 4-0 yesterday. It was nothing surprising for me though as we already know how much great Liverpool have been performing in their home games. They have an incredibly high dominance against their competitors in Anfield and that was the case against Arsenal too. Maybe Arsenal were on the rise for a long time. But they didn't have much thing to do in this game. Liverpool dominated the whole game and obtained a well-deserved victory. I wonder if this will affect Arsenal badly for the coming games and their form will start decreasing.

Actually, we have talked about this before. We said that Arsenal had to make substantial changes in the team after making a horrific start to the season. Because they were losing like hell and losing those games by big gaps also. But the same Arsenal started recovering with the same manager Mikel Arteta and here they are. Even though they were in a great recovery process, it was crystal clear that they were going to play a very tough game against Liverpool. And they should have been prepared for a big defeat too. That was what they got here. But I don't think that they need to change Mikel Arteta immediately. After seeing that huge comeback in the table, he deserves many chances. But when it comes to the players, it would be great if they revolutionized the lineup. They should sign some world-star players to play bigger than this regularly.

It was a great weekend for Liverpool really. They played a home game against Arsenal and they were the highly favourite team of the game already of course. Arsenal's gradual rise in the league standings was just fabulous. But it was clear that Liverpool would still be able to dominate the game against them. And they really did just like that. Liverpool owned the whole game and won it by an incredible 4-0 score. Alexander-Arnold made 2 assists and Salah scored in this game also. As far as I know, Salah was performing really great against Arsenal so far as he scored 7 goals in the last 9 games vs Arsenal. And this was the 8th goal. He is like a one-man army. 

Statistically speaking, Liverpool is the better of the two teams.  Arsenal has been terrible since the season started and they only started winning games for the past few weeks and were not ready to face one of the title contenders for this season's EPL title. Liverpool outplayed Arsenal for the entire duration of the match (both halves). And yes, Salah has been terrific Arsenal and even this seaso so far.

Firstly the formation and the approach was wrong. Martin Odegaard  was to start instead of Lacazette. A player who could hold and retain possession was needed to keep them active. Secondly Thomas Partey was not fit at all, He was just rushed into the weekend match and the midfield was very poor. Lack of confidence and fluidity, a series of errors all round and they gave the ball away more times. They played into Liverpool's hands. They never had a plan B at all. Should've played to the wings and yet every time they kept playing out from the back through the middle which did not work.

I wouldn't rule out Jose Mourinho as a coach either. He is still under contract with AS Roma, but there is massive criticism of him and success is also lacking. The new investor has big plans for AS Roma, but currently the club is 10 points behind league leader SSC Napoli and just 1 point away from being knocked out of the European Cup places. Should Roma lose to FC Torino in their next match, it is likely that Mourinho will be fired and then the way would be clear for Manchester United.
Neither Zidane (who doesn't know English football), nor Pochettino and Rangnik I think would be good deals for ManUnited's current situation.

That's quite convincing, Chelsea potential victory can indeed be seen from how they play from match to match. As for dealing with Juventus, it is not a tough enough match, considering that Juventus performance is not too optimal. For Chelsea itself certainly has more points. I think everything boils down to the new formation,I think the players are getting use to the formation,for Kane I know is not been easy for him in a Tottenham shirt because he do well with England, but I believe with the new coach and new system he will start firing soon. and I also think that Conte should go with 3-4-1-2 formation than the 3-4-3 he should play an attacking midfielder behind the striker's Kane and Son, to link up with them,that might unlock Kane goal scoring form but I think the commitment and seriousness of Lucas Moura is making that decision hard for Antonio Conte.

About Kane, he did not have his best form after the summer in either Tottenham or England national team. He spent less time for training in the summer because he wanted to leave the club. When he came back, he missed the pre-season training and it took him a few weeks to get in the squad of Tottenham.

One interesting fact about Kane. He usually begins season bad or not good enough but in second half, he usually is on fire and in a few seasons he even won the Top scorer title. Let see how he will complete this season with Conte.

I agree with you. Liverpool are taking the field with all their might, regardless of big or small team. They plays excellent. We've seen some great games, especially in the ManU and Arsenal games. I also see a great deal of possibility of becoming a Champion this year. On the other hand, West Ham is doing a really good job. They were unlucky this week, they lost. However, there is a possibility that they will finish the season in the top 4. Newcastle could be in the relegation zone until the first half of the season. However, they will definitely stay in the league with their mid-season transfers. Good investment and the club will make big transfers next year.
