Maybe not this year.  To be a champion, you must have the strength to beat any team in the Premier League.  If you can't overcome this as a team, becoming a champion remains only a dream, and you keep looking behind the players who can't be champions while they go to other teams.  This year has been a bad start for Liverpool.  They only have 9 points in 6 games.

It was expected to be goalless in this match . Everton even had a goal cancelled but it was expected to be a rough match between these two teams in this derby. Liverpool is in serious trouble and need to sign a good midfielder to help them in attack

It seems that Liverpool are now starting to lose the title favorite to become champions. It is natural when they are still struggling to increase their goal productivity.

Liverpool failed to win (again). Their appearance is not as dominant as usual. Opportunities exist, but the goalposts & Pickford who performed brilliantly became obstacles. The midfield is practically without control, the back line is also quite worrying.
it's hard to talk Liverpool will be a challenger for the LP champion if this continues. ️❌

Yes, Liverpool lost the opportunity to get maximum points in this match. they have to share the result at the end of the game. In my opinion Everton performed better in this game, they are able to control the midfield well and also their defense is very good. Mohamed Salah looked so hard to find movement space when he had the ball. In the 75th minute I think Van Dijk committed a hard foul and I think he deserved to be sent off but the referee preferred to give a yellow card. With this draw, Liverpool position in the temporary standings is in 5th place and there is a great opportunity for other teams to replace Liverpool position in the standings.
