Manchester city is playing the same pattern of football as Real Madrid this season, they may have not put the best foot forward in this first half, but they're going to make every possible attempt to make a goal score in the second half and if Asernal does not close their defence in the second half any attempt from Manchester city will become a possible goal. But I doubt if there are going to be multiple goals in the match as both clubs are well-prepared for thos games tonight.

Not sure there will be many goals in this match considering that the two teams are equally strong in their defense. I saw the game in the second half relatively both teams continued to provide more interesting resistance in buying and selling attacks. pep guardiola may slightly change the scheme in this match in the second half. Manchester city is still trying to be able to win this match in front of its own supporters, it's just that Arsenal are very strong from the early minutes which can make this match even more interesting.

Yeah the second half just started a few minutes ago and Manchester city made very good use of their first chances and was able to convert the chance into goal score and at the moment Asenal players are trying to get their balance to be able to relock the defence and possible push forward to equalize the goal if possible.

Well I have my money on Arsenal in this match I honestly feel they want it more than Manchester City and they have all it takes to get it.

I must admit that I was a little surprised by the selection but I'm happy to see Arteta trusting his second options to deliver today, surely this will also build their confidence.

It's not a real match but indeed there is always a second layer to a match in the FA Cup but for me it's not boring it's quite interesting to see how Arsenal are 1 goal down but still put pressure on Manchester City but domination of the game in general the hosts always dominate.

I expected this game to be very dull because the two teams are all in the race for the league title and would not be looking to start the game with their first team squad.

I think that either teams will be playing with the full squads. The result from this match is really important for any of them. Manchester city wants trophy and arsenal too. my focus was on the match between city against arsenal. if city can win the match against arsenal and city will get easy way to win FA cup. Arsenal must be careful with city in EPL. This is the hottest match this week. I can't wait to see that how both will be attacking each other. that will become a beautiful match for sure.

Looking at the current line-up, they displayed some of their core players and the others were reserve players, like at Manchester City there were no Ederson, Cancelo and Alvarez names because they only kept Haaland as their only target with a 4-2-3-1 formation and for Arsenal at the moment there is no Odegaard as their captain. Martineli, Zinchenko and Ramsdale are also rested but we will see Trossard debut in this game.

If Arsenal can win in this match then obviously it is a very perfect result and also, Arsenal will be a team that has a big chance to win the title. Because in the previous two matches Arsenal managed to beat Tottenham and also Manchester United, it was clear that these were not easy matches.
What's more, Arsenal are currently playing against Manchester City, of course Manchester City is a great team, so if Arsenal can get rid of Manchester City in this match then Arsenal will be the best team this season, of course.

It was nice to watch Manchester City and Arsenal facing each other for the first time in this season.

I can't say that Manchester City were too dominant. There was a good balance mostly but it was more in favour of Manchester City in the second half especially. Thanks to Ake's goal they won by 1-0 and eliminated Arsenal in the FA Cup. I was giving Arsenal also to advance to next round. But Manchester City did a good job about keeping them away from a goal. We watched Trossard also in this game by the way. Arteta wanted to see him playing right away.

The game has just ended and Manchester City were only able to score one goal to bring them to victory in this game over Arsenal in the FA Cup match. This was quite a match which was not quite boring to watch as possession was pretty much even for both teams although Arsenal were unable to score to make this game a draw. But Arsenal also don't have to feel embarrassed if they only narrowly lose at home to Manchester City in this FA Cup match.

Exciting moment it is for Manchester city to have walk away as the winner of the match, after struggling in the whole 90+ minutes just to make an impact and this is the breaking point for Asernal this season if their are not careful all their subsequent matches may be lost or draw, Asernal have made a significant improvement this season and their have remain on the top spot in the premiere league this season.
Manchester city on the other hand occupied the top position last season but this season Asenal pushed man city on the second spot until further results that will determine who among the two club clig to the 1st spot on the premier league table this season.

I really wish Elneny was available for this game he would have created more balance in the midfield than Sambi Lokonga did tonight. Sambi is still yet to prove himself to be a suitable backup for Thomas Partey, infact I think We need to sign a midfielder that will maintain balance in our midfield in the absence of Thomas Partey and It will really excite me if we succeed in signing Brighton's Caicedo.

It's true that both teams played with their main players, but Arsenal's coach made some small changes and I believe that Arsenal despite this game being something important they weren't trying too hard to avoid injuries to the players, while in the case of City who have many other reserve players, they are in this game to win at all costs

Nathan ake was making arsenal won't able to go to the next round. It seems like one of arsenal's dreams to get trophy is already gone. I think that city will be winning the FA cup. Manchester city was very consistent in the last match.

Luckily Nathan Aké managed to score a goal to bring Manchester City to victory, because if no one managed to score then the game might only end in a draw, at least Manchester City have many players they can rely on without having to wait for a goal from Erling Haaland.

There are two many big matches in early stages and a lot of big teams from premier league knocked out already at this point at 4th round. Wonder if any other clubs in lower division can really take the advantage in it to win huge prize by reaching the final ... it's the great time to bet on them though!

I think it's better Arsenal should work on their bench player's, if anything happens to any player in Arsenal main squad then it's going to affect their performance, Arsenal should have reliable bench. Arsenal coach was just managing players today because he was scared of injury, their are some players in arsenal that if anything happens to them, then I believe Arsenal will be falling. Arsenal performance today was not bad, but they couldn't convert any of the opportunity they had into goal.

Yep, the match felt monotonous actually but this could be a pretty good warm-up for the two teams considering they will meet in the EPL continuation in February.
Even though this is indeed a match, some of them are reserves, but still, the two coaches clearly have more information here to prepare for the real match.
The match ended with the score unchanged 1-0 and Arsenal had to be eliminated from the FA Cup.
