He looked like an ex-pro player played in a charity game. We wasted 100 million on him. And he is the most average midfielder i've seen. There's nothing special about him. No, I actually thinks otherwise bro, Enzo Fernandes is very much fundamental to this Chelsea team and he also brings creativity in the middle of the park, though Latvia is also a very good player, but Chelsea mostly struggle in creating chances when Enzo Fernandes is left out of the team because the burden of creativity will lies solely on the shoulder of cole palmer, so I believe that he add more value than  Latvia in the starting line up.

And for his lack of form lately, it's very common among players and it can happen to any other person, but I believe that his form dip the more the moment the manager started playing him from the bench, so in essence of what am trying to say is that he will surely comes good if he starts more games than he is doing now, and the creativity he brings to the team is one of the major reason I believe that he should be starting over Latvia.

This game prove to me somehow tht Ten Hag wasn't using this guys effectively even if I know they didn't play against a big team but their performance and drive in the game was totally different which showed that something really changed, the combination of having Fernandez at the front and casimero almost directly behind him became very productive as he got that support he needed in the right position that peaked his performance, this is another obvious point that due to players sentiment at some point, Ten Hag failed to place this players rightly which did affected their performance.

I've got no idea what happened for Enzo Fernandez to be dumped on the bench but, the midfield solid and thriving even without him. This could be the best lineup but I will.not agree. Cucurella remains the best when it comes to left fullback,  and since club captain James is match rusty and not properly match fit, I'll say Malo Gusto as the right back. I'm also not convinced with the centre backs, can they win the  premier league competition with these defenders? I don't think so and lastly,  you can't count on names like Noni Madueke and Jackson despite the improved display of NJ!

Aston Villa lost to Crystal Palace 1-2

This was really unexpected result. Aston Villa was going up against a team that was literally struggling to stay out of the relegation zone. And Aston Villa is literally in the top four positions right now even though it has not been long since the season has started. And somehow they have ended up losing against Crystal Palace. I understand that this one was not an English Premier League match. A match of the EFL Cup round 16. But still, there was no justification for losing against Crystal Palace.
On the other hand, they should give Crystal Palace a lot of confidence. I hope they will be able to improve their performance and get further away from the relegation zone.

The result may have been unexpected but looking at the performance of Aston Villa in the match dominated the game in possession and created more scoring opportunities than Palace but couldn't convert their chances to score goals but Palace took the lead with the little changes they had and they were able to secure victory in the game which no one saw coming because of their poor form.
From the performance of Aston Villa you could see that the team is playing like a team that has been affected by fatigue, they are playing well in the domestic league and they are also playing well in the champions league but playing in the cup seems stressful to them that could be the reason they decided not to take the match seriously because of it's in the Premier League there's no way Palace would defeat Aston Villa.

The result was not in Aston Villa's favour. Aston Villa lost the match 2-1. Aston Villa team is stronger than Crystal Palace. And in this match too we saw good performance from Aston Villa players. A lot of attacking was done by the Aston Villa players. But in the end the match was defeated 2-1. I would say Crystal Palace were quite lucky in this match. So the team was able to win the match

Until I see your substitutions before before comment better on your proposed first eleven. However, seeing Gusto and Latvia in that squad, I know you are just catching cruise with Chelsea. Gusto in my opinion is not a first eleven player in Chelsea jersey unless they are not ready to compete for top four this season.

I know Chelsea have a lot of players at the moment despite majority of them are just average players with nothing much to contribute to the team and of course, making selections will be kind of difficult for Maresca but to be honest, this proposed starting eleven will be the weakest in the premier League if Maresca chooses to make use of this line up.

Manchester United was convincing with their performances in the game against Leicester City no doubt and in as much as I totally agree with you opinions that it was because of the tactical approach Ruud Van Nisterooy adopted which was clearly different from what we were seeing when Erik ten Hag was still in charge, I suggest we wait for when the team under the interim manager will face a stronger team like Chelsea who they face this weekend in the English Premier League Chelsea before we can ascertain the effectiveness of Van Nisterooy's effectiveness.

Well, I also hope they can rise and become a strong Man United like in their glory days. And actually, with the squad that Man United has, this team should be able to get even better. We all should believe it or not the number one problem that Manchester United has is poor coaching, just look at the way Casemiro and Fernades played yesterday, we all were thinking that Manchester players can’t do anything anymore but the man issues they are facing is only coaching. And if they will be able to find a good coach that will do more better then they will be covered, since Van Nisterooy is staying for a bit time with them as a temporary coach. You can remember when Erik Ten Hang came newly to Manchester United, the lazy ass rashford and other players had no option than to resurrect and start performing good. That season Rashford scored highest goal in his career but when they got used to Erik they all backslided again.

Manchester United won some matches by big margin and most of the matches they lost by big margin. Manchester United are definitely in dire need of consistent performances at the moment. Losing four matches in a row and then winning the next match by a big margin is worthless so they need to make a habit of winning regularly even if the margin is small. Until now Manchester United have been playing under a different manager but now they don't have to play under that manager as Manchester United have already sacked their manager. Now Manchester United is just waiting for a quality manager. we've been emphasizing this win too long that it can become an issue for united in terms of getting really tough against Chelsea on Sunday. The problem is not with the players but with the coach who can not maximize the potential of the players themselves we see after Ten Hag was fired under the interim coach MU won the match with a fairly large score indicating they are slightly improving, Van Nistelrooy gave a fairly good impact. You do not need to worry or doubt whether MU will improve or not let's give Van Nistelrooy a chance as an interim coach before being replaced by Amorim.

Yes, I would be happy to see how Nistelrooy would work at least until the end of the season. Ronaldo said that the club needs a person (and by the way, he also named Nistelrooy among others) from the club itself who is aware of the internal affairs and, accordingly, the problems. Enzo Fernandez is indeed a very talented young Argentinian player and has great potential at the highest level. His solid performance with Chelsea shows how important his role is in midfield, especially with the creativity he brings to build attacks. A successful World Cup with Argentina under his belt, experience that's even rarer for players his age.

It is said that Real Madrid coach Ancelotti is interested in him, maybe this could be the best choice for Enzo. Having the ability to read the game, accurate ball distribution, and calmness on the field, Enzo could be a valuable addition to Real Madrid's midfield, which needs player regeneration. For himself, this offer could be an opportunity to continue his career in a club with a strong history in Europe.

The current players they have are decent quality players,  they don't have to find another players, but they do need to find substitute players.

Regardless that Aston Villa lost to Crystal Palace in their EFL match, i still commend them for their resilience because they have really been in good performance for quite some time now, they actually played better but all i could say is that they were just unlucky against Palace and in other way round, Crystal Palace also tried to win Aston Villa after a long time of being winless in all competitions.

Perhaps the EFL cup is also important to them just that they ran out of luck.
