The draw is not a good result for Manchester City, they keep showing their inconsistency despite the training in a Christmas Day just to prepare hard ahead of this game, and playing a draw against Everton at Etihad Stadium is a sign that Manchester City really need extra players in their squad in order to gain back their momentum.

In the end it was very difficult to maintain a 1-0 lead against an opponent who was constantly trying to score an equaliser. In fact, Manchester City had several opportunities that might have won the match, but their lack of good finishing meant they failed to recover from their downturn.

At least, I have a reason not to bet on this kind of boxing day match, because as far as I have experienced, I often get disappointing results in boxing day matches. Honestly, I didn't see a draw. I thought this is the game that's going to change everything for them. That City is going to win everton, build on the win and starts winning their remaining matches. Getting 1 win in 13 games is very bad and I can't exactly pinpoint the root cause of their problem but many thinks it has to do with Rodri's absence. And if this is true, then Pep needs to solve it in the January transfer window or else he risks losing his job if things continues like this.
