The main event has begun in the EPL, we saw some teams picking up their form today by getting a win without being pressured, Manchester City won their game Liverpool went all out to beat West Ham and some other teams that got a comfortable win. For the Citizens I see them coming back from the land of losing games week in week out and Pep can have a good night rest to prepare for the next game.

At first I thought they would be more restrained because they did not want to burden their squad when the schedule was tight but in the end it seemed like it was a mistake because 3 points seemed to be a target that they really had to keep until now and the Slot was really unstoppable for the current standings and trophy hunt.

Talking about Salah I don't believe whatsoever they said, for now Salah is up to speed and doing very well, let's see if he can win the highest goal scorer in this very campaign with this amazing form.

I may have been a bit reckless and bet on Man City to win, it doesn't have to be a big bet so I'll do it one more time to see how far Man City can go. It's only a few bucks I guess it won't matter as long as I'm prepared to lose

I believe so. I think top 4 finish is still realistic for them, and who knows maybe they can buy 5 players in January to recover their form. That being said, I heard some pundits say that City's defense changed slightly in this match. I guess he realizes his players can't cope with it. This might also contribute to how they win games in the future. Pep's "suicidal tactic" will no longer be a problem if his players don't make sloppy passes and defend better. Whether that will be enough to chase the title is impossible to answer since it depends on other teams too. CMIIW.

It's can be a start of Manchester City come back and if they can return to better performances, they will make top four competition more exciting. Nottingham Forest is a big surprise but they have to maximize their performances to finish this season in top four. Chelsea and Arsenal will have to compete with Manchester City for a position in top four too because with quality of Manchester City, they can even climb to a second position.

In 2025, I expect Manchester City to recover well and challenge Chelsea, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest more seriously but Premier League title is impossble for them as Liverpool take the lead now with very big advantage and won't lose it too easily to any competitor.

Manchester City won't spend too much money for player transfers in January 2025. They have problems with UEFA in financial reports and are in verge of massive punishments from UEFA already. They will try to borrow players if possible and wait for recovery of injured players than buying new players from winter transfer market.

After Manchester City succeeded to beat Leicester City today, I saw a headline that read " Breaking... Manchester City won a game today". The headline o think sums up how surprised people were today to see the reigning champions get an away win in the English Premier League.
Liverpool on the other hand continued their impressive run as they easily dispatched their hosts with a 5:0 win. The English Premier League this season I don't is as competitive as most of us predicted at the start of the season but the good thing is that we're most definitely going to see winner of the league after four seasons of Manchester City dominance.

Certainly not a few people were surprised by Manchester City's victory because so far it has been very difficult for Manchester City to win and Pep has always failed to create a strategy and formation to beat the team he is opposing and now it is certain that for some people and the headlines in the news will definitely show how It was surprising that Manchester City won yesterday's match against Leicester. But personally, to be honest, I'm not surprised by this victory because I still believe in the abilities of Haaland, De Bruyne and the others who will definitely be able to play well when competing.

We'd all agree that Leicester losing to Man City is all their fault because they had opportunities to cancel the goal tally when it was 1-0 but they were wasteful and they got punished for their wastefulness when Haaland got his first goal in a long while since they began experiencing their setbacks.
For Man City, this could be the start of something better for them or not, depending on how they take their next game but with how they play West Ham next, I feel another three points is waiting for them.

 Also, I do not have much doubt about Liverpool being able to win the title this season as it looks like everything is going smoothly for them but if I were them, I wouldn't relax yet because before you know it, one team no one expects can just come and overthrow them. For me, I won't rule Man City out of the title race just yet because they still have time to come back up.

I am not overreacting to Manchester City's victory even though this victory is quite good to improve the mentality of the Manchester City team which is currently very depressed but Leicester is not a team with good quality so it is only natural that Manchester City can win this match.
